Welcome to life, my dear

There is nothing to worry about, at all. I was on my phone in the waiting room.

It has been three hours in the operating room, and waiting here is boring as fuck.

"Call me if anything happens.", I spoke to the nurse. She nodded with a smile.

So I headed to the smoking area, there aren't anybody here. Since Greeks are surprisingly healthy, hospitals aren't very poputed. I guess that is a good thing.

I took a long inhale, then exhaled the smoke. Hah... this is rexing.

Deliah is in bor right now, I have to make sure nothing happens to her. Well, anywhere I go is both the safest and most dangerous pce in the world. Something could go wrong, you never know.

Despite being pretty much free, nothing to stop me, I have a lot of things to do. It's not fully a slice of life, but it's close...

Do I really have to fulfill my duty as the Akasha? To fight against the Stars and their Heralds? I will when they come to me.

I sat down on the bench, letting the cigarette burn in my hand.

"Utopia, I forgot to ask. How is your system, currently?"

"[You don't need to worry, Your Majesty. It will only take me a year to return to full capacity.]"

A machine cannot lie, but Life can. The only difference between me and him is our Body and Mind. A Soul is still a soul, no matter how bizarre.

"And have you found Avalon, yet?", I summon a cup of coffee and had a drink.

"[I have found potential locations, Your Majesty.]", he showed me some pces on my phone.

Tch, Irend, Wales, South of Engnd, the English Channel. Typical locations.

I summon Marmyadose, resting the greatsword next to me. This is the key to keeping me in Avalon besides being a good weapon.

It would've been better if the weapon was Excalibur, but that sword hates me for not fitting its "ideal ruler" vision. But to Marmyadose, I am the Ideal Hero.

Well... who but a hero would go against the animal kingdom and nature itself? I am the Akasha, after all. I cannot resist the allure of Conquest.

  Oh.

I put Marmyadose away. A nurse came into the smoking room, staring at me.

"Lady Charlotte, the bor period is over.", she bowed to me.

  I nodded, "Lead the way."

I followed her back to the operating room. She opened the door for me.

Kratos is already inside and held the baby in his arms. I stare at Deliah... oh, she has a bnk stare, looking at the baby.

"Are you okay, Deliah?", I asked her.

  "Yeah...", she answered mutely.

"Kratos, let me handle this.", I took the baby from him, "My sister needs rest now more than ever."

He quietly nodded, if you must listen to someone, why not the Master of Mankind, me?

I look at the child, sleeping peacefully in my arms, wrapped in her thick bnket. So tiny, so fragile, yet so full of potential... she is so cute...

"Anastasia, right?", I look at my sister.

She quietly nodded. I gave the child back to her, who now held my niece in her arms.

"Could you please leave us alone for a moment?", I asked the doctors and nurses.

They agreed and headed outside. Now, there is only me and them.

"Do you want her to have a normal, unremarkable life?", this child is a demigod, carrying the blood of the primordial god of Power.

But I can make it disappear through Phantasmal Denial.

"No.", Deliah shook her head, "I won't let you touch my child, Charlotte."

Even a creature devoid of empathy and emotion like her has maternal instinct. I don't know if she would treat that child nicely after she lost interest.

Well, I'll be taking Anastasia into my custody if that ever happens. Until I'm bored, that is

"Utopia, whip up a diet pn for Deliah and Anatasia, I want them to be as healthy as possible. The expense, as always, is no concern to me.", I spoke to my trusty knight.

"[This is the best I can get, Your Majesty.]", he gave me a pn for a mother's diet.

This should work. I'll send this to Kratos, he knows what he's doing.

  "I'll see you ter, Deliah."

"Yeah, see you, Charlotte.", she smiled faintly.

I got outside, signaling for the doctors and nurses to come back in.

  Oh...

  "Hello, Athen.", I smiled.

"Charlotte...", she gred at me, "Do you know how much you fucked up?"

I can see anger boiling over just at the mere sight of me. She is the first person to take care of me, she sees me as her own child, just like Deliah. But to her, she failed.

"Just go meet Deliah.", I waved her off, walking away, "She needs you more than she needs me."

Hmm... tch. Why are they showing up now?

I went to the roof of the hospital, looking at the sky... not really, there are outlines of bent light... Angels of The Enigma Code.

I just knew they were here for me.

  "Enna.", I snapped my finger.

In an instant, several Angels were sliced apart by a burning sword. They panicked and immediately dropped their invisibility, but that was too te.

Enna, in her crimson armor, dart around the sky and slices away the Angels trying to run away. A Fallen Angel of The Almighty, Angels of The Enigma Code.

She pointed her sword at a faraway Angel, "Judgement."

That Angel was vaporized in an instant. Well, these things don't leave corpses behind anyway.

After a minute or so, Enna nded in front of me.

"They are pretty weak.", she huffed, "Well, they are the equivalent of normal humans."

Her armor vanished in a burst of golden fme, returning to a key that she put back in her hair.

"Do you know the reason why they are targetting me?", I asked the resident Angel.

The Almighty, Yahweh, the being composed of three Eldritch Gods, the Holy Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. All of them are Eldritch Gods of Equilibrium.

"Probably because you are disrupting The Scale.", she answered.

"What is this Scale?", I frowned hearing an unfamiliar object.

"It's what it is, a scale, all Eldritch Gods of Equilibrium have an impulse to bance it out. For The Almighty, it's the Bance between Good and Evil.", she shrugged.

"Can you see the Scale too?"

"Only vaguely, being a creation of The Almighty.", she looked at me with her pale golden eyes, "Yeah, your Good and Evil is pretty banced, though it's practically vibrating."

What the fuck did she even see?

"Anyway, The Enigma Code tries to bance Chaos and Order, which means you are their prime target.", she pointed at me, "You are the source of all the chaos in the world right now."

Yeah... that's pretty fair. Huh, so that crazy bitch is after me...

Now that The Enigma Code had designated me as an enemy, how should I deal with them? I have the Sword of Heroes and the Lance of the World with me... still, this is the Eldritch God that hacked the universe itself.

I have no idea what trick they would pull...

For now, let's take care of Deliah first.

  =0=0=

"My Lord and Light, the recon squad' signal had gone silent.", a man wearing chef clothes spoke to a priestess in white with burning blue hair.

The Enigma Code blinked, putting down their teacup, "Did that girl kill them?"

"We had confirmed it was 'another' Angel from their st message, my Lord and Light.", the cook reported.

"If that is the case, then let us cease. The pursuit is no longer advantageous for us, however more, she will come for us instead.", The Enigma Code nodded.

Their golden eyes turn to the outside, where hundreds of vagrants line up to receive food. The Enigma Code decided that, along with building a base on Earth, to bance The Scale of Chaos and Order, they needed to start with the small steps - running a charity in one of the most inhospitable regions of Earth - South India.

It is more difficult to bance a world with too much chaos than one with too much order, after all.
