Silas Ainsberg. The founder and innovator of Naver City. Blessed with an IQ over 160, he used his intellect to build a city with advanced tech that the world has never seen before. Hover cars, robots, teleportation devices, wireless radios, etc. His colleagues were impressed with his work, so they decided to create a company that’s dedicated to technology. That company is called DEMA.
Before his passing on November 21, 2123, Silas left blueprints to his cybernetics program to his colleagues. Silas became involved in cybernetics because he wanted the company to create prosthetics that can withstand all sorts of impact and not get worn down by time. So that way the people who need prosthetics don’t need to spend thousands of dollars getting replacements with better tech and functionality.
At 98 years old, Silas knew that he wouldn't be alive to see the outcome of the cybernetics program. And he was worried that someone would use the knowledge he accumulated over the years for nefarious reasons, once he was gone. As the CEO of DEMA, he made a decision that will change the date of the company forever.
May 17, 2123. The weather was beautiful that day. Clear skies with the sun shining brightly in the distance. Silas told his colleagues that he will step down as the CEO of DEMA and will give the position to someone else. And that he has a big announcement to make as well.
Standing on a podium under a clear blue sky, Silas looked down below at the crowd that gathered together on that day to listen to his speech. Kids, teens, elderly people, hairdressers, engineers, and many more folks from different backgrounds. And of course, his colleagues and family as well. Silas got emotional when he saw the crowd in front of him. But he kept it together so he can give the people a proper sendoff.

He started his speech by thanking his mentors, colleagues, family and the public for supporting him all these years. Next, he talked about the hardships and struggles that he went through over the years. Losing loved ones, experiencing health problems, and financial hardships. Then, he shared some lighthearted stuff to get the crowd laughing. Embarrassing his colleagues in the process as well. Finally, it came time to tell the crowd his big announcement and who will be the next CEO of DEMA.
“From this day forth, DEMA will be a family owned business. Therefore, only individuals from the Ainsberg family can hold the title of CEO. After several long hours of deliberation with my advisors, I have made my decision. The next CEO of DEMA will be Kiera Ainsberg. I understand that these changes are unexpected and that some of you are fearful of what the future will hold, as the company goes in a new direction. But as my last favor to you all, I want everyone to honor the legacy I’m leaving behind and welcome my daughter with an open heart. Once again, I want to thank everyone for coming here today to listen to my speech. The future holds endless possibilities and I’m certain that the next generation will make it better. Don’t give up on the future.” When SIlas finished his speech, the crowd stood up and applauded him. Appreciative of everything that he has done for them. Silas bowed his head to the crowd, hiding the tears of joy on his face. On November 21, 2123, at 11:45 a.m., Silas finally succumbed to lung disease that he had been battling for over four decades. He passed away with a smile on his face, surrounded by his loved ones.
