Its been about 1 year since the day the assassin broke into my room, since then many things have happened. During the night of the attack I found out that my mother had left right before everything happened we’re unsure why, and honestly I think she was kidnapped rather then leaving willingly.
After that incident my father threw himself into his work and I rarely see him uninjured. However he’s always smiling, however anyone with a brain can tell its a sad excuse for one. However we press on. I’ve since been experimenting with my ability and discovered a few unique things:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~1. It doesn’t work on status effects, titles, stats however noting that abilities can evolve or “Level up” that may change
2. Modifying an items ability can change how it appears depending on how severe of a change to the items main function. However this cannot turn say a bnket into a fan and vice versa.
3. If I copy a word, I’m given a choice between keeping the word permanently or temporarily. If its permanent I can remove it ter but I can use it as much as I like, if its temporary I can only use said word once without having to copy it again.
4. There’s a cool-down on copying and pasting a non permanent word(For what I presume is to prevent the work around of keeping an item with the word attached and just copying and pasting it whenever needed.)
5. Edit, thoroughly confused me at first however I found out using it I can move around words in a ability/sentence without having to copy and paste them. However it only works in the field its in and I cant transfer it to another item or person this way.
6. I cant create new skills out of thin air, nor can I paste them them into new rows. I can only edit existing skills as of this moment. At least on completely sentient organisms. Things like animals and objects I can. However in the future that may change as all skills carry a level, so it may carry a possibility of in the future to do more things than I am able to do currently
7. The library isn't only a word storage, if I concentrate hard enough I’m able to appear in a vast library containing all my memories and knowledge. Also going off of personal observations the time runs at a 100:1 time scale there and my body remains on the outside as far as I can find out as no physical change to myself in there appears out here.
8. The ability works as it typically would for most people as well. I can copy and edit text on already written documents keeping the same format as the original text with no visible alteration. However I’m sure it will create a change of some sort as otherwise forgery would become rampant. However the idea of such is still viable and I will look into it further.

Those were my main observations throughout that 1 year gap. Throughout this time frame I’ve been studying and learning everything. I am now fluent in this worlds main nguage as well as universal common. That also brings me onto the next subject. The era this world is in, its medieval… To an extent. It seems that there is an off pnet force which came to this world and inducted it into what is called the gactic union. So that expins the random bouts of technology in this otherwise medieval world.
Aside from learning that, I’ve been learning more in depth about magic and its components and uses. So far its retively easier to learn but harder to execute, due to the fact I ck a rger capacity of mana for anything more then a small ball of light to help me read in darker areas. Even that though still tires me out a bit. But thanks to that I found out as long as you cast a magic meant to st long it doesn’t repeatedly sap out mana. Just a one time deduction until it runs out.
Magic seems to work mainly based on visualization and knowledge one knows about an element, there is specific affinity's which enhance the magic cast, and not having those affinity’s makes it harder to produce a suitably strong effect. However this doesn’t matter much to me as it appears I have affinity's to all of the elements. Which oddly enough is common. But what isn't common is being born with the ability to cast magic and being born with all affinity’s.
From what I have read and learned about, everyone is born with a system unique to themselves, and only themselves. And not every system grants the ability to cast magic. All allow you to use mana to some extent however most don’t allow magic casting. Initially I didn’t have it either however I managed to find someone who did and copied and saved the word in my [Permanent Library].
So far I’ve only learned 2 extremely useful words, [Magic] and [Combine]. [Magic] was from a particurly stout woman who came shortly after my mother disappeared. I assume it was to aid in the search for her but I’m quite sure there was no luck as my father looked down trodden for days after she came.
[Combine] came from a older gentle man who had a harsh stench sticking closely to his robes. Upon analysis it was a enchantment to ward off insects and various other pests. He came when my father was severely injured to provide what I can only assume is medicine, as shortly after my father quickly regained his vigor and almost immediately left. If not for the head maid he would have been out and about that very next hour.
Since then there hasn’t been any particurly useful things to copy and store away for ter use. I have various temporary words however those are for my experiments and other such intricacy's none of which have particurly stood out to us however. Now onto another subject: Acquiring skills. There is several skills which can be acquired without being born with them, I’ve been focusing on acquiring at least one so I can use it as a foundation to build on or repce with better functions.
This… However has been so far proven fruitless. It seems I will have to wait until I’m a bit older. As the easiest skill to obtain based on my studies would be swimming, or a simirly sports like skill. Until then I’ve been working on improving my stats. That way in the future I’ll have a far easier time getting skills.
