Something inside my mind tugs me to ignore both of them.

  "My name isn't Boris or Michael. You got the wrong person."

  I say and walk off.

  "Wait! Please come with me for your own sake!"

  "Come with you? Hah! You probably gather those slaves so you can sell them yourself on the black market."

  I ignore them and keep walking. What's with them? Are they both trying to kidnap me because I look like a slave? I need to get this choker off as soon as possible. But how am I going to do that…? I don't have any money and have no idea where I'm going. Hmm… I should probably check the alleys or somewhere less crowded. I'm bound to find some people by themselves I can extort.

  I go in the first alley I come across that leads into a dead end. Who designed this crappy place… Why is there this empty space here in between three buildings…? I turn around and go back toward the main street. I follow the road endlessly not knowing where I'm going.

  At some point, I hear screaming close by. A moment later, I see a young man wearing a metal choker run into my view from the cross street. He has a bloody dagger in his right hand.

  "Get out of my way!"

  He yells as he pushes through a group of people. I smile. Did he kill his master too? Who's that? I notice someone running after the slave. He's wearing a full set of armor and carries a sword in his right hand. He's fast! He catches up to the slave in a few seconds and slashes his back.

  "Gah!"

  The man drops his dagger and falls to the ground. Oh, shit… The armed man doesn't finish off the guy on the ground and just stands there.

  "Isn't that Beck? He's doing a nice job as always."

  I hear someone say around me.

  "Hey, Beck! There's another slave over here!"

  I feel a chill go down my back as the armed man turns toward me. His eyes meet mine. Oh, shit!

  What should I do…?
