I blink my eyes open slowly once more, shocked to even open them once again. As I blink the bleariness out of my eyes, and try to take stock of the situation, I can't help but notice a number of things. For example, the crushing pressure over most of my body, as well as the painful throbbing from all of those areas. 'Didn't clear the wall then...' I realise, as, obviously the only thing that could cause this and leave me still alive would be the wall. If the roof had collapsed, I'd be dead, and there was not really anything else to fall on me. Of course, as soon as I fully recognise myself as being conscious, a wave of tables once more arrives;
'Phew, now that was an ordeal. At least the dungeon is over and done with, I was afraid I'd have to go crawling through those rat tunnels next!' Although still pinned under rock, I can't help but be overjoyed that I've managed to clear the dungeon both within the required timeframe, and rightly at all. The stat bonuses don't hurt either. Nor does the loot. Or the exit portal that merely requires that I be in this atea for use. Still, I'd best make sure that I was not unconscious for too long;
'Dungeon Timer'
'Well, that's less than I hoped...' I had hoped to be able to look around the area a bit, and perhaps kill some standard rats, just for the XP and loot. Sadly, with that timer, I won't have time for anything like that. Still, it's worth trying to get out from under here, so that I can see what was behind the collapsed wall. As my head is free, and I can see the area around me, strewn with clumps of old bricks that did not fall apart, I start trying to move myself that way. My arms are still free, as my back is holding up most of the piece of wall above me, and so I use those to try and move myself forwards. Unfortunately, I am on my front; so I can't even attempt to lift the wall slightly, so that I can get out. However, I can slowly wriggle forwards, causing scrapes, which I repair with mana regrowth (as my mana has regenned), making some progress. After about 10 mins of slowly and painfully getting out from under the wall, My back is freed and just my legs are still under. As I once more try to continue moving forwards, the chunk of wall breaks in two without the support of my back, allowing me to slide easily underneath.
Once more getting to my feet, and looking around the room, I can see debris strewn around the service coridoor. Turning around and lookin around me, I see a cave like room, with a more etherial light to the electrical ones currently above me. Clambering over the rubbish and entering the room, I can see a chest on ground level. I recklessly approach the chest, despite the dungeon scene, and open the lid. After fighting for many hours, and undergoing heavy trauma for the rest of the last 23 hours has taken it's toll on me, and I didn't even cinsider that it might be trapped. I still open the lid fully though, as a stalagtite shatters to the floor beside me. Within, is a small pile of gold, a book, and some other miscellaneous stuff. Swiping it all into my inventory, I run through the cave entrance again, mentally screaming 'EXIT PORTAL' As I pass the boundry into the service tunnel, with more stalagtites and now some rocks and bricks falling around me, a bright flash encompasses my vision. I made it to the portal!
