“Ah! My legs are killing me.” The man took the sweet stick from his mouth and stretched before reaching down to pluck a travel box from the luggage belt.

“It was not that long, it was only twelve hours.” The other man replied as he went for his smaller travel bag

“Just twelve hours! Remind me again why we had to take a plane here?”

“Well for one, courtesy and for two.... huh! There is no two."”

Miss Disha yawned, she watched as two men walled together toward the checkout booth. The first thing she noticed was the bright flower print shirt, it looked cheap against his white trouser, loose and big. The next thing she noticed were his arms, lean and athletic holding up a cigar. He had that timeless face, the one that you didn’t know if he was in his thirties or in his fifties, the glasses made it even harder to tell and he was bald.

“Welcome to Henan province, are you here on business or pleasure?” the bald man didn’t respond “how long is your stay going to be for?” She asked again, uncomfortably.

“A week maybe less” the other man replied “professor Yoshiaki, you are staring.” He whispered quietly

Yoshiaki adjusted his stance and looked away.

“Sorry about that, he is a little shy around beautiful people” the other man said, forcing a chuckle

“No problem, no problem at all.” She chuckled back, also forcefully “emm?”

  “On business.”

  “Right, mister?”

“Nobunaga” he said as he gave her their passports

“Okay, Nobunaga who?” she opened the first passport and immediately saw it was Nobunaga’s own “no surname?” Nobunaga shook his head negative “ oh, I am… I am truly sorry, I had to confirm.”

  “It is fine.”

“Well, you men have a nice stay” she forced a smile as she stamped both their passports quickly.

“Thank you” Nobunaga said as he took the passports back and left the booth

“How can they be so comfortable being weak? It baffles me to my spirit.” Yoshiaki said as he walked in step with Nobunaga

“This is why you don’t teach other classes, you can’t keep doing this”

“I can’t be bothered. When they chose to stop being weak enough to be killed by the breeze itself, then, they are worth teaching.”

  “Misterr Nobunaga?” a voice asked

They had passed through the terminals, there was a lot of shouting and crying and plaque raising, it was chaos and the name cut through like knife through butter. Every man, woman and child turned to the man, those closest to him cleared. Among the seas of people the man stood alone, the culprit. The sea buzzed with words but no one went up to criticize him rather the space around him increased, this time because of the uniform he wore and for those who knew the rank he bared.

“My name is sergeant major Soham Sid of the 3rd division and I have been tasked with escorting you.”

Professor Yoshiaki walked through the conveniently opened space, past the man. The man opened his mouth to say something but hesitated, he didn’t notice Nobunaga standing beside him till his hand was over the man’s shoulder, he stiffened but only a little bit, if Nobunaga hadn’t been holding him, he wouldn’t have noticed.

“Don’t worry, the professor is always like that, you will get used to it. For now let’s avoid making a scene, alright?” The man nodded
