  It doesn’t take long before I end up falling asleep despite the presence of the hidden boss. But even when I wake up again who knows how long later, the three-headed dog is still whimpering in the corner. Completely terrified of me.

  After glancing at the scared dog monster, I turn my attention to my current soul. Which is just about replenished at this point.

  Despite that, I can’t help but feel worried. Too worried to step out of this hidden area just yet.

  Because that boss could reappear at any moment as soon as I step out of the place. And there’s even a chance the boss never even left the hidden area.

  What’s more is that the boss is no doubt getting stronger and stronger out there. Just devouring more monsters.

  And the more monsters it devours the less monsters there will be for me to hunt.

  I grit my teeth as I try to think of a way around this issue, only for a surprising notification to appear in front of me.

  Oh. Well that’s convenient.

  Before making any sort of exit, I go ahead and use my polearm to slice straight through the entrance, leaving the weak hidden boss alone. Mostly because it’s best to have as many hidden area places to hide as possible in case I end up attacked by the boss again.

  And killing this hidden boss won’t give me anything of worth anyways. No levels or useful items.

  It’s just too weak within the dungeon.

  I don’t tear too big a hole in the hidden area though, just tearing a very small opening. One just large enough for me to squeeze through.

  What I find after that isn’t very comforting though.

  Because what I find in the dungeon outside of the hidden area is just devastation. Nothing but empty space without any worlds near me.

  No worlds. No monsters. No nothing.

  Except a few hidden area portals that I can see on the mini map scattered around the place.

  And a single monster sleeping in the distance so far away that I can barely see them. Despite how enormous the creature is.

  I begin moving around in search of any monsters I could possibly find, but I can’t find even a single one. No matter how long I search.

  As for the boss?

  When I identify it, it shows that it’s leveled up several times by now. And the creature was already too tough for me to even wound before this.

  So I eventually let out a sigh and create the dungeon exit.

  Damnit.

  There’s nothing I can do in here now. Not until I manage to scrape my way to Ascendant Tier.

  Or at least the level cap of Tier 5.

  And that will probably take a while. But it should be possible so long as I’m fighting against those corrupted creatures. Considering that they give me extra EXP.

  I just have to find a place filled to the brim with a lot of them.

  More importantly, I should be able to use my True Form against them. Since corrupted creatures are a threat to the universe.

  But before that, I think it’s about time I took on more trials.

  With one last glance at the enormous, sleeping monster, I turn towards the exit and pass through it.

  Dimensional Block #108

  Astrid feels more than a little satisfied as she looks out over The Retreat. Which has grown so much over the time since the Tier 5 Dungeon Championships that it now spans across several islands in size alone.

  All because it’s the official capital of Dimensional Block #108. And the hope of the Quantum Reaper herself.

  The most powerful user within the System.

  That much is perfectly clear just by looking at the leaderboards.

  There isn’t a single person even anywhere near Lexi’s level. And that alone makes Astrid prouder than she’s ever been.

  Although she does still wonder why their mother isn’t on the rankings. Because she should be from what she’s seen during the livestream.

  Unless she’s just not a user in the System.

  Astrid frowns at that thought, only for her attention to be forcefully torn away when a massive burst of energy floods the entire Dimensional Block. Power beyond anything she’s experienced before in her entire life.

  And it’s not just her as every other being within the Dimensional Block feels the same immense power.

  Some of them have felt power on its level before the Reset, whereas others haven’t.

  But everyone immediately understands what it is.

  Either a Cataclysm Class monster near the peak of Tier 5.

  Or a user.

  Every single high Tier user of any importance currently inside of Dimensional Block #108 immediately begins to flock towards the direction where the energy is originating from. Including Astrid.

  And what they find when they arrive is the sight of the Quantum Reaper leaving a door while stretching. She’s wearing her usual armor with her polearm in hands and a slightly exhausted expression on her face.

  But the sheer energy radiating off of her body makes every single user nearby feel fear instinctively. Just by being near her.

  Astrid doesn’t care about any of that though as she immediately rushes in to hug her twin sister.

  “You’re back!” Astrid shouts while hugging Lexi. Meanwhile her sister just chuckles and returns the hug, blatantly ignoring everyone else around them as she does so.

  Several seconds pass in silence before the sisters finally separate.

  Then Astrid narrows her eyes and says, “We still need to talk about those stories you told.”

  And just like that, Lexi vanishes, teleporting away somewhere without a word.

  Astrid rolls her eyes, briefly wondering if it’s sad that she’s used to this by now.
