I woke up in my room, dazed and confused. It was almost like I had just woken from a nap. “What the hell…” I muttered to myself, looking around the familiar room I thought I’d never see again. “Wait, DIDN’T I JUST DIE?” Waizu walked in, looking confused. “What did you say, kid?” “Oh, it’s… um, nothing.” “Weird kid,” he muttered under his breath. “Anyway, can you help me sell the rest of my berries?” “Oh, uh, yeah. Sure.” I looked down to see if the ring was still on me. It was. I sighed. “You’re acting weird today, kid. Did something happen between you and that Rin girl?” he asked in a teasing voice. “Shut up,” I said, turning around and hitting him with a playful, spinning back-slap. Waizu laughed. “She’s just a friend,” I said. “An annoying one at that, but still one of my best friends. Let’s go sell the rest of the berries. Anyway, I think I’m interested in someone else. ”The scene shifted to the girl from the white room watching me. “H-HUH? Did I hear him correctly?” She blushed and covered her face.
