Hello everyone, this is gonna be the last announcement for this version of the fiction and a consolidation of the previous announcements.

  I as an author have reached a point where Ikarus doesnt meet my standards it was a very fun learning project and i still have a great passion for the world, but i couldnt tell its story when i started and for now i'm going to leave it be. i will return to its world eventually likely after mercurial is done or i've hit a point where i can realistically juggle multiple stories simultaneously.

  Eventually it will receive a full re-write but until then, i encourage anyone who came to enjoy my writing to check out my new story series; it features signifigantly longer chapters, about a vampire from a grim-dark fantasy world being transported to a post rift apocalypse earth to act as a dungeon lord.
