I'm very sorry for the silence these past few weeks. I've been dealing with some upsets in my husband's health, a health scare of my own, and a bit of burnout on top of everything. I should have said something sooner rather than just leaving you all hanging, but after I missed that first deadline, I was embarrassed.

  I don't feel like I've been putting out my best work lately, and I haven't been able to write at all for a couple of weeks. I'm going to step back for a while and focus on other aspects of my life. I'm not giving up on these stories, but I need to lessen the stress in my life right now by doing away with a deadline. I'll probably release chapters occasionally as I finish them, but until my life feels more stable, I'm not going to promise a schedule.
