Prologue

In the beginning of creation, the God of Humanity had a most trusted companion—a noble alicorn named Titan. Loyal and steadfast, Titan was more than a mere pet; he was a confidant, a being whose heart was pure and spirit unyielding. As a reward for his faithfulness, God bestowed upon him a great honor: dominion over all creatures, great and small.

Humbled and grateful, Titan accepted this divine gift. The world was vast and brimming with life, and he saw it as his duty to guide and nurture every creature under his care. After deep contemplation, Titan made a bold decision. Inspired by a vision known only to him, he selected four creatures to receive a gift like no other—evolution beyond their natural forms.

His choices were curious, even peculiar, but each carried a purpose known only to Titan. He chose:

? The toads—unloved and misunderstood by mankind.

? The horses—trusted for their loyalty and strength.

? The fish—free and graceful in the world beneath the waves.

? The snakes—feared, yet cunning and capable of transformation.

To these four, Titan granted a remarkable gift: the ability to take human form and walk among mankind. They would age only to a point and remain forever in the bloom of life. They would not die as humans did but live for lifetimes—beings who carried the essence of their animal within but the heart and mind of something more. Something new.

In our world, years do not measure growth as they do for mortals. Here, the shades of cultivation guide both body and spirit. With each leap forward, a child may grow into the strength of a youth, and a youth into the wisdom of an adult. Age is not counted in candles, but in colors of the soul.

Among the horses, Titan offered an even greater honor. He selected a few and transformed them into alicorns—majestic beings of grace and power. These became the founders of the Stone family, unbreakable in spirit, noble in their legacy.

The fish evolved into mermaids—mysterious and wise, rulers of the sea. They became the Waters family, known for their deep connection to the ocean and ancient knowledge hidden beneath the waves.

The toads were gifted magic, no longer confined to swamps or superstition. They became masters of the arcane, forming the Worth family—seekers of knowledge, defenders of truth, and stewards of magical tradition.

Lastly, the snakes. To them, Titan offered redemption. Burdened by their dark reputation in mankind’s lore, he gave them the power to reshape how the world saw them. But change came with a price. Unlike their ancestors who shed their skins with ease, the Salvatores could not escape their past so easily. Their beauty was striking, their charm magnetic—but their hearts often wrestled with the shadows within.

For centuries, the Four Families lived apart from the world of men. They built secret estates and passed down their gifts in quiet. Some chose long lives, others sought eternal rest. Sacred tombs were built beneath each estate—places to slumber until they were needed again.

They were bound by origin, but divided by instinct. And in time, their paths began to cross. Tensions rose. Rivalries were born. Friendships sparked. Love bloomed. And in the midst of it all, forces stirred in the dark—bitter remnants of a world that preferred chaos to peace.

This is where our story begins.

A tale of old grudges, new alliances, and the delicate balance between the animal and the human within us all.
