Suddenly the entrance door began to slide, a young girl was seen appearing from there. An ankle-length brown dress, pink hair with bluish eyes.
“Madam Riana, what are you doing out here?” She asked, having just come out from inside the house.
Riana turned her head slowly toward her. For a moment she just stared at Ghyna without saying anything.
“Ghyna... I just feel like sitting here, it feels calming,” said Riana, before she returned to staring blankly forward.
“S-so t-that’s it huh...,” Ghyna stuttered a bit, her eyes unable to focus in one direction.
“T-that... I want to tell Madam Riana about—,” Riana suddenly stood up from her chair, cutting off Ghyna’s words.
As if already knowing what Ghyna wanted to say. Riana walked toward the door intending to go inside.
“Just the three of you have dinner,”
“If Ascella asks about me, just say something,” Riana added, before leaving without looking back, leaving Ghyna for the inside of the house.
Right after Riana’s figure disappeared from Ghyna’s sight. Ghyna sat down on the floor, breathing a sigh of relief as if feeling safe.
“T-thank goodness...,”
Both of Ghyna’s hands covered her own face.
I have lied to Madam Riana about Ascella and Sinhart.
Fortunately...
For some reason Madam went back to her room without having dinner first. If she knew I lied what would be my fate in this house...
“Ascella?!”
That person forced me to lie. Who knows where she is now.
And now Sinhart is also not here…
Don’t tell me she really took Sinhart out.
“Come back quickly Ascella, Sinhart,”

I don’t want to do this anymore!
The door of the house closed. Only leaving the sound of the grass still rustling when the wind passed by accidentally. The night in that house was silent.
Meanwhile that atmosphere was almost the same as the mood in the east district.
The moon was not yet fully visible upright in the sky, even so its light illuminated part of the city’s darkness. Buildings emitted lamp light from their respective windows, inside having their own busyness.
Even so, the night still felt quiet. But one place there had its own atmosphere. A place that sought people with certain pleasures, from a sweetness of food.
From the outside their voices were slightly audible. On the wall of that place papers with pictures were pasted and written there.
“This premium chocolate Iced Kream comes with an intense dark chocolate color. When scooped, its texture looks dense yet soft. As soon as it enters the mouth, it melts slowly, providing a rich flavor with a refreshing cold sensation without leaving traces of coarse ice crystals.”
Then on that paper at the very bottom was written.
“Free for the first 50 visitors.”
From the window, many tables and people could be seen there. Sitting and eating food that looked like the pictures on the paper earlier.
At a table located very close to one of the windows, a girl sat there alone. The girl was enjoying her Iced Kream served in a glass inscribed with “Gelatteria Vittorio Emanuele”. Her brown hair, her thinner eye bags resembled Riana Sevilla’s face.
Only more expressive.
She took a full scoop, putting it into her mouth. Suddenly the girl held her head. As if enduring pain, her eyes were tightly closed.
“So this is what’s called Brain Freeze.” With closed eyes, the girl took another full scoop of the Iced Kream in the glass.
Then quickly put it into her mouth. So it repeated quickly until her Iced Kream was finished in the glass.
The spoon was placed inside the glass making a loud clinking sound. Several other customers at surrounding tables glanced briefly at her. The girl’s head lay on the table, staring blankly without purpose.
A woman in a neat shirt that gave an elegant, safe, and comfortable impression. In accordance with what was served at that place. The woman stood perfectly upright, smiling sincerely, and looking politely at the girl.
“Ascella, are you okay?” the woman asked.
“No... this is the first time I’ve felt it close to death,” Ascella replied without change.
“Don’t worry, an Iced Kream headache normally only lasts 30-60 seconds,”
“Drink this, it will soothe it.” The woman placed a glass from the tray in her hand.
Then began pouring water from a teapot on the tray. The water emitted warm steam.
The woman slid the glass, blocking Ascella’s view.
“...Warm water,” the woman continued with a smile.
Ascella stared for a moment before directly drinking it. Ascella’s expression changed, she breathed a sigh of relief.
“Thank you,”
“You’re welcome.” The woman took back the glasses on the table, then placed them on the tray she held with one hand.
“Want to order again?” Asked the woman who looked like she wanted to leave.
“It’s delicious. But, it’s time for me to go home.” Ascella stood up from her chair.
“In that case we look forward to your coming again,”
“The restaurant from the capital is indeed great, I will definitely bring my family to come here...,” said Ascella, then began walking out.
“Wait...,”
Only two steps away, Ascella stopped and turned around.
The woman put her tray on the table, then her hand began pulling a paper from her shirt pocket.
“We are looking for a missing person, have you seen them somewhere?”
Ascella, without asking, immediately looked at the paper.
Depicted on that paper, a rough sketch of a woman’s face. The sketch only showed the image down to the neck.
Ascella observed the paper for quite a while, even squinting her eyes.
Why were they suddenly looking for someone?
The face looked young and slender. Her hair was straight and long, dangling past her shoulders. Thick bangs that covered the entire eye area. Part of her face was covered by a black blindfold...
A woman?
I’ve seen this face...
The nose was small and straight with smooth lines. Her lips were thin and seemed tightly closed. Her jaw was narrow with a softly tapered chin. The facial skin appeared without noticeable marks such as scars or moles.
I can’t remember it....
Where and when, as if the memory refused to emerge.
“Forgive me... just consider this a question for fellow Sorcerers,” said the woman.
The paper was pulled back, then with hands in front of her body, the woman bowed.
“No problem,” Ascella replied
“Once again thank you for the visit. Your name has been recorded and you will get something interesting on your next visit,” The woman smiled as if saying something more than just restaurant service.
