The moment his hand touched my shoulder.
It was almost as if I was forced to remember it again.
Me and my friends going to see the Grand Duke.
Only to be met with an explosion.
Where the crowd ran for the lives.
Police officers scrambling to maintain order.
A loud bang being heard.
Then one of them throwing an explosive device before...
"Alright we had enough." Nina said.
The man took his hands off.
I immediately grabbed my breath like I was drowning.
I touched my chest.
My heart punching my ribs.
My mind in scrambles trying to regain order after a chaos.
Deep breaths Lukas
Deep breath.
I looked up to see Nina.
Still having that smile.
This old hag.
"You okay?" She said.
"After what you fucking did? Of course I'm okay!" I gritted my teeth.
"Sorry, we had to get the full picture as fast as possible." She said.
As fast as possible my ass.
You invaded my fucking mind.
She raised an eyebrow before sighing.
She reached her hand to her pocket and pulled out a lollipop.
A red lollipop with a wax paper covering it.
"Ta-da!" Nina waved her hand in excitement.
I grimaced at the sight of it.
She's crazy. Right after you bastard got inside my head.
Like that will actually fix the problem.
"What did you two even do?" I frowned.
"We just made you talk." Nina replied.
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
Made me talk?
Was I talking out loud when they entered my head?
Forcing me to talk about the assassination?
"So...you want it or no." She said.
I kept my glare at her before snatching the lollipop from her hands.
"Why me of all people though? Wasn't there any other witnesses?" I said.
"Well surprisingly there wasn't a lot of witnesses. Most of the crowd just ran away without even looking back." She said.
I guess that makes sense.
She chuckled.
"Our job here is done. You know every single detail right?" She asked her partner.
"Yeah, every single detail like I was there." He replied.
Soon, both of them were about to leave.
But Nina looked back at me a waved a goodbye.
I was revulsed.

As I walked down the hallway.
I couldn't stop looking at the lollipop she handed me.
Not knowing if I should try it or not.
What was there to be paranoid to be about.
Soon I finally got to my room and saw Gideon still reading his book.
I came up to him in exhaustion.
"Are you okay right now? You don't like your full of energy right now." Gideon said.
"Huh? What are you talking about. I'm perfectly fine as ever!" I said enthusiastically.
"With that dark circles under your eyes and hunch back combined the way walked just now like you had a broken leg says otherwise." Gideon replied.
"Was I? I didn't realize. It was probably the fact that I just woke up." I then laid on my bed.
But in actual reality it was probably the fact that those church members made me do something.
"What do you have on your hand?" Gideon said.
"Oh? Just a lollipop...you want it?" I asked.
"Hell yeah! I never tried it out before but I would love to!" Gideon said excitedly.
I lightly threw the candy at him which he caught.
He unwrapped the wax paper to reveal a bright red sweet.
"Wow! I've never seen this kind of candy before." He then put it on his mouth.
"Mmm! This is delicious! What kind of flavor is that? Other than that how did you get that!" He said.
"Got it from that women before."
"Ah, that lady? She must be rich."
"Heh...yeah."
"Something wrong?"
"Nothing...just tired."
I looked up at the empty ceiling.
"You're wandering again. Why are you always like this?" Gideon said.
"Not really my fault. It just that my life is rather boring."
Well if you don't include all the things that just happened.
"But you have us? Aren't you having fun playing with us? We are friends after all."
"Heh thanks. I do have you guys and to be honest. You guys are the only thing that makes me happy these days."
"Really? Aw, so adorab-"
"Shut it."
He chuckled.
"By the way who was she anyway and was she interested in you."
But then he gasped.
"Is she perhaps in to you?" He smirked.
(???")
"What?" I frowned.
He cackled.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA, oh my, you should have seen you face!" He continued to laugh.
"Yeah, sure buddy. Keep laughing." I hid under my blanket.
"Aw, is someone embarrassed? You should be proud that you're dating a rich older lady."
He laughed even louder than before hysterically.
Slapping his hands against his thighs.
"Your gonna make me cry! HAHAHAHAHA!"
"HEY! Stop laughing!"
Gideon looked behind him too see the nurse pointing a finger at him with a serious expression.
"Ah, sorry." He lightly bowed his head.
"Well looks who's laughing now?" I quietly chuckled under the blanket.
"Heh, I guess I deserve it."
