With a thoughtful expression, Demian muttered.
“Three techniques into one...”
His Elementary Human bloodline was extremely common, something that most humans possessed.
Unfortunately, it also meant that he received no bonuses or advantages from it.
Of course, there was no disadvantage either.
All in all, it was a pretty neutral bloodline.
So, unless he created a cultivation technique that fitted him perfectly, practicing Martial Arts was pretty much a dead-end.
As for integrating three techniques into one, it was more or less the same problem.
Both would take a long time, and were not things achievable in a few days.
Letting out a sigh, he said.
“I’ll think about it in the future.”
Moving his gaze toward the three women, and seeing them either eating snacks or drinking some tea or coffee, he then declared, a small grin replacing his previous frown.
“Well, I can really improve much more, so I might as well go through my Tribulation tomorrow. I have a promise to uphold, after all.”
Unlike the light-hearted expression on his face, the three women had a worried look on their faces, with Liya questioning.
“Shouldn’t you try to become a bit stronger? I mean, if Bryn and I have to wait a bit longer, as long as you’re safe, we don’t mind.”
Bynrhild, who had already undergone her own tribulation, added with a nod.
“It’s better to prepare more.”
Seraphine, however, did not utter a word of protest.
It was not because she did not care about his safety, but simply because, as someone who had access to his Perks, although with merely half of the effects, she was very aware of how unreasonably powerful they were.
Would his life be at risk even while having those Perks?
Honestly, she could not say.
What she could say, however, was that, if even he could not pass a Peak Tier 1 Tribulation safely, no one in the World could.
That was how much of a cheat those Perks were.
Demian, as the main party, was also perfectly aware of that fact and replied, his tone reassuring.

“There’s no need. With my ‘Innate Powers’, I’ll be fine even if half of my body ends up as cosmic dust.”
Seeing the resentful look on the two women’s faces and the amused grin on Sera’s own, he realized that the comparison may not have been the most appropriate, and thus reformulated.
“What I mean is that I can pretty much brush off anything that doesn’t one-shot me.”
Again with the annoyed glares.
‘Damn it, women! Do you have to be like this?’
He thought, though he would never say those words out loud.
Instead, he rectified his explanation one more time.
“What I mean to say is that I’ll be fine, so further practice is a waste of time. Going through my Tribulation is a much better use of my time. That and then bond with the two of you. Honestly, my intuition tells me that by doing it that way, the benefits will be a thousand times greater than if I kept practicing here.”
His words brought a few stimulating images to the mother and daughter duo, whose minds were lost in a brief daze before both wore an embarrassed look on their faces.
However, Liya recovered quickly and nodded.
“Fine. Just be careful. I refuse to become a widow a second time, you hear?”
Though the words were said in a somewhat joking tone, Demian knew she was dead serious.
He was, after all, her strong hope for a blissful married life, someone she could spend metaphorically—Or literally, depending on how high their cultivation journey would take them—An endless amount of time together.
He was her ‘lifelong’ partner, her Dao companion, as others called them, the one she pinned all her expectations on.
Losing him?
That would most likely break her completely.
Add to that her two daughters being in the same situation, and the pain would simply become unbearable.
Of course, Demian had no intention of dying.
Why would he, when he could live better than a King while having three loving wives to cherish deeply?
Thus, he took her hand and made another promise.
“I will be safe. Yes, I’m a bit worried, but that’s mostly irrational fear. Logically, there’s not much danger for me. At least, much less than when Bryn went through her own.”
As those words left his lips, he felt his other hand being grabbed by another smooth and warm hand.
Turning his gaze toward Bryn, he heard her say, her expression solemn.
“You promised me you’d show me better things, so you better keep that promise or I-I...”
Realizing what she was saying, the dark-golden color expanded to most of her face, ears, and neck, a situation that had become extremely familiar to the young man.
Whether it was the concerned words or the bashful look on the woman’s face, Demian’s heart felt a surge of warmth, prompting him to say, his gaze moving from one incredibly beautiful woman to the other.
“I don’t know how many people I saved in previous lives to be blessed with three extraordinary women like you three, but it has to be a country worth at the very least.”
His joke made the three burst into fits of giggles, relieving the tension they were all experiencing.
After a few seconds, Liya remarked.
“Maybe you saved us three, and we’re here to repay you in this life with our bodies.”
After which Sera added exaggeratedly.
“That has to be it. I mean, just look at him. Why would we choose him otherwise? Sure, he might be a bit handsome, extremely hot, smart, caring, loyal, powerful, great in bed, and can help us grow our cultivation by having sex with him, but is that enough?”
The other three chuckled while Bryn added jokingly.
“When you put it like that.”
As the three chuckling calmed down, Liya asked curiously.
“Speaking of previous lives' memories. Do you think we’ll also awaken our own like you, Darling?”
Although a brief feeling of excitement traversed his mind when he heard the word ‘Darling’, he did not mention it and instead shook his head helplessly.
“I have no clue. You all know that my situation is a bit... ‘special’, shall we say, so it’s impossible to say. Maybe if you all reach a certain level of cultivation, you will?”
Nodding her head while the others had thoughtful looks adorning their faces, she then replied.
“That’d be interesting. I wonder what type of person I was in my previous life?”
With a playful grin on his face, Demian replied.
“A beautiful and kind woman, that’s certain.”
Rolling her eyes while the corner of her lips rose slightly, she retorted.
“Such a flirt. No wonder Sera wanted Bryn and me to push other women away from you. Otherwise, wouldn’t it be just a matter of time before we get a few new ‘sisters’?”
Cocking his brow, his gaze went to Sera’s face, noting how she avoided his own while wearing an ‘innocent’ expression.
Shaking his head, he then turned his head back toward Liya and said firmly.
“I’m only that way with you three.”
Seeing the playful smile on the redhead’s face, he rolled his eyes and added.
“But you already knew that, and you’re just teasing me. Damn it, woman. Do you have to play with my poor heart like that?”
Giggling at his exasperated expression, she retorted.
“Just a little payback for all those nice words of yours. Oh, and those nice kisses too.”
Winking at him suggestively, he shook his head with an amused grin on his face.
“You’re really...”
The group of four then continued to chat, banter, and flirt with each other for a while before Seraphine suggested that the group watch a movie together.
With a confused look on his face, Demian asked.
“Do they make movies here?”
The idea of cultivators and acting in a film production was... Strange to say the least.
Then again, living for so long, some of them were bound to seek different forms of entertainment.
Especially since they had access to the Origin Islands and the entertainment industries present there.
What Mortals could do, Cultivators could do better and a lot more easily.
Special Effects, music, editing?
Just use magic!
Everything could be fixed with a Spell, and if it could not, then that meant your Spell mastery was too lacking.
Noting the others’ curiosity, Seraphine nodded with a grin.
“They do. Actually, since we came back from the Library, I’ve been fiddling with the Identity Token to find out what we have access to with it.”
She paused her words as a strange expression appeared on her face, while some ‘dark’ memories surfaced in her mind.
Shaking her head a second later, she added.
“Let’s just say that the people here are very... ‘Open-minded’. Really open-minded. Truly too open-minded.”
Seeing the Elven woman’s absent-minded look, he let out a resigned sigh as he asked rhetorically.
“Let me guess, you’ve gone on the R18 section.”
