  Shayne has made incredible progress with your research and we’re near a breakthrough. I can’t wait to tell you all about it… Darling, I think we might be able to cure the Pall! Eventually. Maybe.

  I’m getting ahead of myself as usual. There is still so much to learn and be done, and we have had to pause our tests temporarily. The Talavar visited again today and brought news that Haven Station is to be decommissioned. I knew there was a chance of that, as small and remote as we are, but damn and cog the timing.

  Shayne and Pitney and I are trying to find out how we can make sure we stay together when we’re all relocated without tipping off the Committee about our research. In the meantime, we’re helping all the other citizens pack and prepare. I never thought I’d say this but I’m going to miss a lot of them. They’re my patients now and I’m their doctor. I hate to send them off to stars know where.
