I have a couple of big notes/milestones today which I'll be sharing with you.

  Demon Hat is officially finished (over on Patreon)

  On Monday, Demon Hat's last chapter was written.

  It's odd to write those words, because this represents the first series I've written to completion. It will certainly not be the last. It also doesn't really seem like an ending due to the vast editing I've been doing with my publisher and on my own - which will be continuing for the next month at least before launch. I've even got the notion that there's at least 3/4 extra chapters I could slot into book 4 before the end (even though its already the largest entry in the series by far!)

  The amount of fun I've had bringing Ethan's story to life is reward in itself, and has taught me a great deal about serialization, LitRPG, and genre expectations in general.

  And so it's fitting that today I give you the details on its KU release.

  Audio: Adam James Conner has done an incredible job at bringing all of the main cast of characters to life, and if I can recommend one format in particular it would be the audiobook. One thing I love about audio is how one performance can completely change the nature of a book - heightening certain aspects of character personalities that simply reading the words on the page can't do.

  This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.

  The cover artist, Preston Asevedo, has also done a fantastic job at bringing the right vibe to the artwork for the story. He has been involved in the graphic novel adaptation of the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver series - one of my favorite video game franchises of all time - which is one of the main reasons I went with him.

  What's Next?

  We have about 13 weeks of posting before the series (with all its final touches) finishes officially on RR. At the moment, I'm fully committed to prepping for Demon's Amazon launch, but also working on my next writing projects.

  I'll firstly be returning to my last novel in my 'Reborn' series: to finish Book 2 off and then complete the series.

  I'm also working on something entirely new in the background - but won't be posting it for some time.
