In the castle everyone's desperately searching for the princess. Where had she gone? She wasn't the type to run off, everyone came up with two conclusions, either she had been kidnapped or worse, killed.
There were some who were delighted by the fact that she'd disappeared, one being the third princess Luna, Luna has always envied the attention her eldest sister got. No matter what, Luna had always been second place to the crown princess Melody no matter what, she practiced and studied but Melody would study harder without even noticing Luna’s efforts to catch up. Luna was practically ecstatic to potentially become the new crown princess now with Melody gone. There wasn't ever any worry about the second princess as she does not care for the crown as much as she cares for thrashing about recklessly in fights. Therefore the only choice would be to hand over rights of queenship to her.
Meanwhile Melody was sitting on a log looking off into the distance of god knows where. Out of nowhere she spots a bird with seemingly no feathers hurling down a cliff, she'd seen this same scene within the picture book. She dashes forward and catches the bird before it reaches the ground. With a thud she lands onto the dirt dirtying herself a bit.

The bird looks to be very upset and starts to peck at Melody. The naked bird seemed to desire something very dearly, it felt as if she knew what it wanted. It wanted its wings back.
Although the girl did not particularly care for the request of the bird she indulged it as she didn't have anything better to do. The girl lets out a heavy sigh before asking how she could help. Suddenly she realized her unusual childishness, why is she talking to a bird as if it could understand? Am I crazy? She thought to herself.
Eventually she begins her treacherous journey after the bird gives her the directions to an area that can apparently regrow feathers.
How is it so far?
