  With Lord Nerve dead, he'd have to go find Sister Mirror or Sister Flight and fight them, but he didn't really know where to start, so would just have to start by going back to wandering around the Perimeter. After a lot of walking he had reached a second atrium, but with only two corridors that lead into and out of it. He wasn't alone in the second atrium. A Circus Light was here, holding a knife to Ela's throat.

  --Sigils--

  [N/A]

  ... Huh...? Did Sister Flight not have a Sigil? And what were those skills? He didn't recognise the vast majority of them? And why did she get her mana so high? This was barely going to be a fight, to the point he almost felt bad.

  Kaelen: So. You're Sister Flight?

  This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author's consent. Report any appearances on Amazon.

  Sister Flight: Yes, I am.

  Kaelen: You know, I just came from killing Lord Nerve, and you've got a friend of mine held hostage over there. How about you give her back and I give you a painless death?

  Ela: K-Kaelen! P-ple-

  Sister Flight: Shut it! I know what you are, Kaelen Calder.

  Kaelen: You do?

  Sister Flight: Our enemy.

  -Sister Mirror-

  Sister Mirror was told to just watch. See what happens. And interfere only if either of them were loosing their fights. She took off her mask, and put on a different one, one with full facial features. A grin, a tear, and three eyes, two normal, and one large. Lord Nerve had no real power over her, she may have been lower rank than him, but she was definitely stronger. So she thought she deserved the promotion, not him. That's why she let him die, and would now let Kaelen do the same with Sister Flight. It would only be a matter of time before she could swoop in, save the day, and receive the promotion she deserved.

  -Kaelen-

  Sister Flight crumbled to the floor, falling upwards towards the roof, landing on it. [Gravity Manipulation], this was going to be annoying, even if it was easy. He Fabricated a bow using his Sigil, aiming upward to shoot at Sister Flight, who managed to change momentum and began falling diagonally toward himm. Sister Flight took a big swing at him, and he managed to dodge it-

  [Health Points: 350/350 (-2) -> 348/350]

  Most if it anyways. He grabbed another arrow, trying to stab Sister Flight in the side with it, thrusting it into her side. She fell faster straight onto the ground, ducking under the arrow and kicking upward to his face, again-

  [Health Points: 348/350 (-2) -> 346/350]

  Some of it still hit him, so he ducked, trying to do the same and kick Sister Flight, only for Sister Flight fall horizontally onto one of the walls avoiding the kick. Kaelen realised Ela wasn't with her anymore and looked up. Ela was stuck, lying down on the ceiling. Sister Flight's Sigil didn't have a Sigil, but was using her skills on someone other than herself. This would be much harder than he thought it would be, but it should still be fine for him.

  Kaelen: What's happening here? How does this work?

  Sister Flight: Like I'd tell.

  He aimed another arrow at Sister Flight as she fell in his direction, gaining momentum. He fired his arrow, but in a sudden change, the arrow snapped toward the ground and Sister Flight crashed into Kaelen, grabbing his skull. He tried to get her off of himself, but-

  [Health Points: 346/350 (-90) -> 256/350]

  Being Blazed still hurts like hell. Sister Flight had begun Blazing his head, Kaelen ripped Sister Flight's hands off of her face, small parts missing. Kaelen crumbles, falling, not down but against the wall, Sister Flight falling up and standing on the roof.

  [Health Points: 256/350 (-4) -> 252/350]

  He struggled to pick up and fire another arrow at Sister Flight, but again it shattered, falling straight to the floor. She didn't have a Sigil, and yet she behaved like it. It was like she had [The Sigil of Gravity] and yet he knew for sure that she didn't. She was controlling in which direction both she, Kaelen, and anything else in the room experienced gravity. She had managed to replicate the abilities of a pre-existing Sigil with nothing but skills, using a real Sigil as a base and cultivating her skills based off of that. That was the only explanation he could make. It would make the reason why Ela was stuck on the ceiling make sense at least. So, now he had to find a way to deal with the changes in gravitational direction and beat Sister Flight.

  He tried to use the iron strings from his fight against Lord Nerve, but whenever he swung one, the gravity it experience was rapidly changed, completely destroying any momentum he could build up, preventing it from building up the momentum needed to resist gravity. They were useless to him, and he suspected the same would apply to any other weapons he summed with his Sigil that weren't mele.

  Dodging swing after swing from the perpetually falling Sister Flight, Kaelen was thinking as fast as he could, searching for a way to kill Sister Flight when he couldn't trust ranged weapons and Sister Flight wasn't staying in close range for more than a second, so mele was also off the table. The most he could do was wait until Sister Flight got close enough and for long enough to then use an arrowhead or a dagger to deal a fatal wound. But with Sister Flight seemingly unable to do anything long ranged either, it was now just a waiting game for the perfect moment, when Kaelen would win. All she had to do was continue dodging, and with the practice he had from fighting Lord Nerve, it was only a matter of time until Sister Flight was dead on the floor.

  As he had guessed, after a few minutes of dodging the perfect opportunity arose, and he drove a dagger right into Sister Flight's chest, she screamed in pain and tried to grab his face again, but Kaelen got another dagger out and thrusted it straight into her head. Stopping her dead in her tracks. Sister Flight crumbled to the ground as Kaelen removed the daggers. He double checked her pulse. Dead. Definitely dead. He noticed the difference immediately when the gravity in the room decreased, whatever changes Sister Flight had made had been undone.
