“The USAM Council successfully voted to recognize the Velunara Protectorate, granting the young nation Tier 3 status – a nation that is considered allied or a strategic partner, but is not considered a member within the defense and economic organization. Examples include Taiwan, Morocco, Panama, Bahrain, and Peru, which provide important locations for military projection operations or serve as economic anchors, such as chip manufacturing.
The vote was unanimous with the five Core Members. The United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, and Australia are all Tier 1 members. With the resolution passed, it will go to the Parliamentary Assembly, where Tier 2 members can express their opinions on the matter. However, regardless of how low their turnout, the resolution is now law with USAM.
There was a lengthy debate regarding what would be the proper status, as Tier 3 doesn’t acknowledge that the new state was a full member within the organization, with Canadian representative stating how much influence the United States had over the young state. While being independent, Princess Assiaya Ryder agreed to obey American foreign policy in exchange for protection and economic development. Because of this, they didn’t meet the full definition of a nation-state and shouldn’t be given full access to integration into the USAM structure, especially with far more formidable states such as the Hispana Republic. This, combined with the fact that they were at war with multiple City-States resisting unification, would make it unwise to rush full membership.
The other concern was the international response to allowing an alien into an Earth-based organization. The French-led Western European League joined with the Indian Federation in their condemnation against the American intervention into Alagore and their refusal to hand over the alien device known as the Bridge to the International community.” – Indie News

Ford gripped the metal undercarriage beams, praying he wouldn’t fall and compromise their mission. The cart jolted as the wheel bounced, thanks to the driver barreling into a brown pothole in the cracked concrete road.
The Sergeant steadied himself as the cart stopped shaking, a sign of relief. He glanced to his side and saw Marcos Gonzales, whose worried expression was clear. On the HUD, the display marked Marcos with his Filipino name, Minutemen, and Comanche designations, all tagged with a blue marker to show they were in the same unit. Green highlighted allies, showing the national flag and unit.
“You, okay?” Gonzales asked.
“Yeah,” Ford said. “This mud is making everything slippery.”
“Hey,” Gonzales said. “It could be worse. We could be equipped with multi-million dollar, highly advanced active camouflage, besides being covered in mud.”
The Nerdy Sergeant saw the humor in the situation. For this mission, they wore the Ghost variant of Itlian, trading capacity, CPU power, and armor for digital cloth over the module plates. A digital ghillie suit covered the exterior, helping the user blend into the environment. Effective for moving unnoticed, especially past bored guards, but sensitive to weather, as now.
The siege around Virc’Veria dragged on longer than Sherman hoped. At a vital crossroads, the City-State was crucial to both sides. The United States needed to capture cities to expand east and south. The Aristocracy needed to hold them to go on the offensive. But magically enforced medieval walls were unlike anything Americans had faced. Such fortifications, obsolete since before the Revolutionary War, had been rendered useless by technology—until now.
To break the stalemate, it was decided that the Altaerrie would play one of its own historical tricks on the problem. They would use a Trojan Horse. Somehow, Special Forces would enter the city to allow a larger force inside. The only problem was that the infiltration team had to succeed without being discovered by the beast-humanoids' powerful senses. Many Minutemen had already experienced those senses with deadly consequences. Ford remembered a similar story in one of his books, Hero of Osillras, where the hero party hid underneath supply wagons. They used mud and other strong-smelling substances to mask their scent.
With another bump in the road, Ford checked the Status on his HUD. Half of Comanche – Rommel King, Marcos Gonzales, Kurt Forest, and Benjamin Ford, and a Phantom team – Terry and Maui were all green light. Two soldiers pre-cart. After waiting for a twenty-eight Alagore day for an isolated convoy to draw near by a few kilometers, the two teams snuck under, covered in mud and specialized order-control spray. Once inside, King’s team would work their way to the exterior wall to allow other Minuteman teams to sneak inside while Phantom-2 headed to one of the hillside bunkers to provide sniper oversight.
After hours of waiting, they arrived at the security gate. The supply convoy stopped. Over TEAMCOM, Warrant Officer Rommel King ordered them not to make a sound. Ford glanced around, seeing footprints around his vehicle. A neko slipped through the line, sniffing the wagonette, which was pulling the cart.
“Ben,” Gonzales whispered over TEAMCOM. “The scent thing will stop it? Right?”
Ford was surprised by the question, as it was risky to speak. Even if it was through the unit’s radio, he knew Gonzales wouldn’t have broken the order if it weren’t important. “It should. The spray was for dog senses.”
“What about the eyes? They have night vision hunting eyes, right? And we are hiding in the dark.”
For a split second, he had no idea what his Filipino comrade was saying. Then he remembered Fraeya's new feline pet, Mirilo. Even with active camouflage, a normal human would notice the deviation in the ghillie suit's projection. This plan assumed that the Aristocracy would use a Luperca—a towering wolf-like creature used like a security dog on Earth. At this range, it would be easier for a humanoid cat creature to notice.
“Good point,” Ford responded. He reached into his back pouch and pulled out a small brown cloth bag, tossing it onto the ground beside the front left wheel of their cart. “I have a backup plan.
The Aristocracy Neko, wearing a cloak, crawled over and sniffed. It stopped by the wheel and glanced underneath the cart. Ford watched the creature sniff deeply, then shrug. Suddenly, the cat's eyes widened. It leaned further into the undercarriage, staring straight at the Sergeant. The beast jerked back in near-panic, and for a moment, he believed they had been discovered.
As the feline pulled away, its hands struck a small brown bag on the ground. The feline picked up the bag out of curiosity and opened it. It sniffed the contents, eyes widening in shock, and nearly toppled backward. Two Vampires approached to investigate, but the Neko quickly grabbed the bag and dashed off.
With the focus on the crazy Neko, the supply convoy started moving again, entering the occupied human City-State. Ford watched the event, struggling to stop himself from laughing. He then noticed Warrant Officer King on his HUD, demanding to know what was happening. “The Neko was able to see us, so I dropped a bag of catnip.”
King hesitated before congratulating him on the quick thinking. Gonzales commented on how he was a drug dealer, but asked where he got the idea. Ford said he remembered reading the idea from one of his fantasy manga. When he bought Fraeya Mirilo, he bought extra just in case.
It didn’t take long for the convoy to reach its destination. They stopped at an assembly area where dozens of other vehicles of all kinds were parked. Comanche and Phantom were ordered to dismount. Ford took his C4 and wedged it into the cart beam before leaving. The two teams made their way through the line of vehicles, using them for cover until they reached the residential alleyway.
“Alright,” King said. “I want a systems check. Make sure the active camo still works.”
Ford activated his HUD, accessed Ghost databases, and ran a system diagnostic. A warning flashed—the system couldn’t connect to the ghillie suit. He reached back, detached it, and reconnected the wire, suspecting it had come loose or mud was inside.
Luckily, the flashing warning bar turned green before vanishing. The other teammates acknowledged their suits were okay. Forest said his was only seventy-seven percent operational because it was covered in mud. Either some of the panels broke or got covered.
“It should be fine,” Ford said. “It is cloudy and dark today.”
“Good point,” King said. “We will stay in the shadows.”
“We always do,” Maui said while giving a thumbs-up. Then he and Terry vanished into the darkness, looking for an observation point within the city.
The two teams departed, navigating through the dark alleyways of Virc’Veria. The alleyways were not as well-lit as the main streets. The skyline above the city glowed from the mana shield cast by the tower amplifiers, but only in critical areas of the city. The residential sections were more vulnerable or waiting for the next American artillery strike.
The buildings were mixed in design. Many were like the elvish buildings of Slava: gray stone base with redwood for the rest of the wall. At the same time, pillars, like those in classical Roman and stone structures, made up most buildings. But the place didn’t look ancient, as if from history books. Like Salva, there were pumping stations that drove water through the many aqueducts. Massive red crystals emitted warmth and showed other signs of magical technology.
Not all the buildings were left unscathed. As the fire team rushed past a ruined building, they saw the roof collapsed and the stone burnt black by flames. It was caused by artillery fire, most likely from a 155mm M77 Archer dumb shell that penetrated a weakened or deactivated section of the amplifier shield network.
The four-man team rushed through the streets of Virc’Veria, encountering little security. There were only a few instances in which their cloaking couldn’t protect them, and they were forced to take cover from patrols. It was more finding their way through this giant city that was becoming the problem
That was when the Comanche Team heard a loud scream. It came further down the residential area, near some ruined buildings.
After taking cover, Ford looked through his scope and saw four targets. There were three male J’avais, dressed in Aristocracy armor. Between them was a Lat woman being shoved. Standing beside them was a Vampire, making hand gestures and signaling his annoyance.
It was clear to them what was happening. The enemy held a hostile city, seen by many as inferior. During the siege, it didn’t surprise them; some soldiers sought their own entertainment. Especially in such a hostile place. “What do we do?”
After a swift command, Ford and Forest moved to opposite sides of the street and hugged the walls. They crept closer and saw four hostiles terrorizing a woman. As they drew near, the Vampire hissed and marched off, to the Sergeant's delight. Even in battlesuits, fighting one in melee combat was an ordeal.
When they got close, Gonzales flashed his flashlight at the J’avais, which got their attention. They pushed the girl into the ground before marching toward the light. With their focus distracted, Ford and Forest grabbed their tomahawk and snuck up behind the unsuspecting Aristocracy soldiers. And within seconds, they quietly assassinated the three.
Seeing Ford’s other teammates rushing over to help hide the bodies, he rushed to the woman to investigate. She was half-naked with a bruised cheek, pushing backwards with terror in her eyes.
“Amor matris. Altaerrie Bellatores.” He then reached into his pocket, pulling out a round silver amulet. In the middle was a bluish-purple painting of Tekali, with six other colors orbiting it.
This seemed to calm the woman down, and she now adjusted her clothing before being helped up. When the bodies were dragged into the ruined building, she spat on their corpses.
“Rommel,” Forest said. “Phantom-2 says something is flying toward us.”
“Valkyries are with Hispana,” Ford said. “It must be a Harpy.”
“That is not good,” King said. “We need a place to hide.”
The women looked confused. Using his Itlian limited database of Alagore languages to translate the best it could. She finally understood the gist of what he was trying to say, grabbed his arm, and pulled him down the street, causing his comrades to follow.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Hearing a loud screech before flapping, Ford saw a creature landing on a nearby red roof, glancing around. As he turned toward them, the woman opened a door and led them inside.
Inside were nearly a dozen people. Most were the Lat variation of humans, but there was also a neko family living among them. The males quickly reacted by grabbing any weapon they could, which were mostly kitchen utensils. The woman gathered the children and headed toward the furthest part of the house. The father, holding a knife in hand, suddenly stopped seeing the woman entering.
The woman went on to explain that they were the Altaerrie and saved her from the J’avais. This seemed to calm the dual family living in the same home. Ford held up the same Teklai token, then displayed their allegiance to the Princess Protectorate. That the Cosmic God has returned to assist his Goddess and that they needed to reach the hillside wall.
Ford went on to explain who they were, the best he could, mentioning their names. To his surprise, when they reached the Warrant Officer, everyone in the room bowed.
“What are they doing?” King asked.
“I told them who we are,” Ford responded. “When I got to you, I think you are a literal King.”
“Not this again.”
“Hey,” Gonzales said. “Maybe we should overthrow the Boss and make you an actual King. Who will know the difference here?”
“Enough,” King said. “Ask if they can help us reach the wall. Quietly.”
After Ford’s translation, the Lat and Neko patriarchal heads spoke among each other before agreeing to assist, stating that they knew how to get there with little patrols.
*****
Captain Ryder, along with the rest of Comanche climbed over the city wall. When the officer reached the top, he instantly noticed the vampire corpse on the ground, which Forest and Gonzales were in the process of tossing over the wall.
There were two others on the street below, but their presence seemed not have been noticed. But to his surprise, a few civilians were among his infiltration team. Ford was with them, speaking to the different species.
“What is the situation?” Ryder asked.
“This town is ready to rebel,” King said. “We had contact with some allies and are willing to help us sneak to the main gate.”
“That is good and all, but those streets will be heavily guarded.”
“That is the thing. They know of a bunker that overlooks the plaza. We take that while the other teams take out the amplifiers.”
Ryder didn’t need any further explanation, seeing a plan coming together. “Good job. Why are there civilians with you, though?”
“You should thank Ben,” King said. He then explained about the catnip and negotiated with the families who sheltered them from patrols, utilizing this world’s religion to their advantage. “He knows how to speak with these people.”
“That is my Ben,” Fraeya said.
Ryder smiled at his mage, seeing joy in her eyes. He then noticed Natilite flocking next to him, reporting that she saw no imminent threat to their breach. That was when she inquired why the civilians were kneeling below.
When he looked below, he saw what the Valkyrie was mentioning. Half a dozen, mostly humans but a neko and a luperca showing their respects. “I guess they are here to see me.” To his confusion, he heard his second-in-command chuckle.
“You might be the Princess's father, Sir Duke. But…, there is only one King.”
The Warrant Officer then walked off to rally the other teams, climbing over the wall. Hortatius, Redcoat, and Samurai followed, so when things kicked off, these additional teams would cause as much chaos as possible.
The Captain and Templar glanced at each other, confused by the meaning of the Warrant Officer. They left to coordinate with the other team before departing.
For Comanche, the same human and neko who guided King’s team escorted them. When they neared a checkpoint full of troops, they stopped by a house. Another Lat family opened, and after a short explanation, they were allowed inside. The family was very gracious, almost in awe, seeing Altaerrie for the first time. Not just that, witnessing the Templar who fought alongside them and the Elf who brought these warriors to save them from the Unity. The woman rushed to pour drinks while the men knelt to their noblemen.
Ryder returned the gesture by helping the eldest, which he assumed was the house Pater familias, onto his feet. The American Duke then gave a handshake, having Fraeya explain with her hyper energy that this was how the Altaerrie greeted each other. Respectable among equals. Natilite then explained how it was time to rise against the occupiers and warn the other families to fight if they wished to.
Being forced to rush through, Comanche followed their two guides through the households. Either slipping through the back door, going into the sewers, or straight into other homes that were friendly to the Princess Protectorate. There was only one household that was occupied by hostile individuals abusing their power. Something the Twins and Templar were thrilled to correct.
Outside of that one encounter, Comanche bypassing the Aristocracy and Pamlinitie checkpoints was uneventful. The population was allowing them to sneak through their occupiers without being noticed. They reached the main bunker that the civilians had been talking about.
“Thank you,” King said.
“If you know warriors willing to fight,” Ryder said. “This is the time. But only those who are willing.”
“Go forth, Mother’s children,” Natilite whispered.
The two Pater familias agreed and then gave the Duke, Templar, and King a proper bow before dashing off.
“Tell me,” Natilite asked. “Wait…, they think you are a Altaerrie King?”
“They don’t think, my lady,” King said, smirking. “They know.”
Ryder turned to his friend with an evil smirk. “If you want the job, you can have it.”
Rommel King was about to respond, but hesitated, reflecting on the proposal. He then declined the job promotion. This annoyed the Templar, seeing the banter as childish and how Matt should take his title more seriously.
When Ryder got the signal that Horatius was attacking, Comanche shot the guards covering the rear with efficiency, killing two J’avais, two Harpies on the roof, and a Vampire. When it was clear, Ford and Higgins tossed their fragmentation grenades through the rear openings, causing a small explosion with screams following. That was when the Twins burst through the door and quickly engaged those who stood, followed by the rest of Comanche.
When Ryder entered the bunker, two Vampires lay dead on the ground with another shot against the wall. A close-range firefight against the enemy inside the other rooms. Gonzales and Barrett aimed their weapons at a floor door that led to the bottom level. Above them, they would hear weapons fire and screaming as their Templar Valkyrie landed on the roof, securing their flank.
After Forest ordered Ford to slide more grenades into the next room, a short explosion was followed by the Staff Sergeant and the Sergeant charging in, firing their weapons. Barrett opened the floor door with their Medic dropping two additional grenades down below.
Everything seemed to be going as planned, as the enemy occupying this bunker was being pushed back. Barrios rushed into the left room but soon came back out, being pushed by a Kiriyak – a horned, armored humanoid that was eight feet tall and twice as strong as the average human male.
The Kiriyak armored showed that he belonged to the Pamlinitie Kingdom, with a yellow-and-black patch featuring a red horn in the center. Ryder turned to the new threat, firing two shots against its chest. The first round failed to penetrate, but the other two were successful, not only making the horned warrior flinch. It’s bone-like under armor, absorbing most of the damage.
The armored humanoid lifted the Hispanic warrior and tossed it against Ryder before getting a shot. The new hostile then easily raised his ax, swinging it against the senior NCO and Medic.
Barrett pushed Gonzales out of the way before being knocked down the stairway, landing on the bottom level. Wallace used his weight to ram into the Pamlinitie warrior, barely making him move to the side. Rommel King pulled out his tomahawk and jumped down the ladder with the sound of clashes followed by Fraeya.
The Kiriyak warrior and Wallace got into a physical fight, displaying their prowess; while the bodybuilder Comanche warrior was strong, he was quickly shoved against the wall by the armored alien warrior's raw strength. Barrios, though, grabbed his knife and rushed behind their opponent, stabbing the knife into the open section of the hostile armor.
This didn’t kill the Pamlinitie warrior, as the hostile let out a painful scream but swung its fist at the Barrios, forcing him to catch the fist with both hands. This allowed Wallace to get behind and apply an arm lock, allowing his Hispanic comrade to form a giant fist with both hands and swing it against the armored warrior's chin, causing blood to spray.
The enemy soldier still had strength and refused to surrender, so it and the Twins turned the bunker into a bar brawl. As Ryder attempted to line a shot, he heard Natilite warning that envoy harpies were incoming. Being forced to trust in his two bodybuilder soldiers to handle the imminent threat, he ordered Gonzales to the bunker hole.
With half a dozen harpies flying, heading toward them. The first dropped dead from being snipped by Natilite DMR, but with the volume of flying hosties, she took off from the roof, unsheathed her sword, and struck the closest one. Ryder and Gonzales aimed at their M31 and sniped the demotic flying female creatures, covering their Valkyrie comrade.
One of the Harpes flew straight toward the bunker, landing against the side. It reached in, grabbed the medic, and tried to pull him through the hole. The Captain adjusted his aim, firing at point-blank range into the creature until it dropped dead.
When the first wave was almost neutralized, Ryder turned to investigate the Twins. He then saw the Kiriyak slammed against the firing hole, face bloody. Wallace thrusted his fist into the armored warrior's chest right before Barrios flung his fists into the hostile's chin. The two then pushed their opponent out the window, causing it to fall down the cliff.
“What the hell was that?” Gonzales asked.
“A paperweight,” Wallace said. His VISOR was shattered, and his armor had dents.
“Damn right,” Barrios said, catching his breath. The shoulder plating and joints were damaged.
“Back in the game,” Ryder ordered. “Gonzales, Wallace. Go help Rommel and Greg downstairs. Wallace, join Wings up top and-.”
“Man, the big gun?” Wallace eagerly asked.
“And kick Artie out of my daughter’s city,” Ryder said.
“Your majesty,” Edger jokingly said before dashing away.
Forest and Ford returned, stating they had secured the correct section of the bunker. Before Ryder gave an order, a powerful explosion impacted the bunker exterior. The three rushed to the window, and they saw hundreds of the occupying forces assaulting their position. Most were coming from the ground, charging the small cliff overlooking the main gate plaza, but more harpies were coming. Natilite was dodging hostile fire while fighting the flying creatures, so the Captain ordered her to retreat to the bunker for protection.
One of the street amplifiers orbs on the opposite side of the main street glowed brightly. Long strings of water are followed by ice forming around the stream.
A water disk rose from below, being created by Fraeya, and deflected the attack. Over TEAMCOM, the Elf Girl coordinated with Wallace and Natilite, who were now manning the accelerator on the roof. They fired the ballista against the water stream with a Hydromancy-enchanted shell. It exploded into a giant ball of fire, causing ice shards to spray everywhere, including multiple shards impacting the Captain's battleplate. Luckily, they were small enough and could not penetrate.
From within the city, a six-legged walker approached, joining the battle, followed by reinforcements. It suddenly exploded from an Atlatl as Redcost opened fire at the newly arriving enemy.
Barrios fired his missile at the amplifier, and the mage operator fired a beam from the giant orb, destroying the missile. This allowed Wallace to fire the ballista as the magical weapon recharged, destroying it.
The ballista’s along the city wall turned to face the imminent threat. The one by the main double gate was attacked by Horatius, who quickly captured it. The elite Palatini turned, facing the barricades below. Its electromagnetically coils glow before thrusting the luxmancy projectile against the enemy. When impacted, a bright area-of-effect electric blast hits the area, killing or disabling anything nearby.
With the amplifiers covering the main plaza neutralized, the Staff Sergeant grabbed his target designator and aimed it at the streets. Their Airman Combat Controller kneeled with his long-range radio in hand, speaking with 4th ID DIVARTY.
On the Captain’s HUD, a yellow digital market appeared over the main street plaza. Dozens of smaller red ones littered the city, enemy soldiers and weapons emplacements being labeled by Forest. Over the radio, the American operator stated a PLCM-208 fired from a M244 AMRSS – the Army's primary rocket artillery against the now hole in the city energy shield.
The Precision Cluster Missile came through the gap and exploded in mid-air, releasing dozens of mini-Beetle explosive drones. With the war on Alagore, the United States had been forced to use non-GPS dumb bombs unless the target was in visual sight, such as this. The loitering Beetles individual hunted down their target, digitally marked in red, which is now turning gray from their deaths, with a sixty-nine percent kill rate within the kill zone. For the survivors, the Captain was impressed by how well armored these foes were, with their enchantments and fortifications.
Following the cluster missile, three 155mm artillery shells came through the opening and exploded in mid-air, but this time, a thick smokescreen filled the plaza. However, the screen didn’t last as the smoke formed into a cyclone above the city to allow visibility, but it was too late.
“Antius,” Ryder said over TEAMCOM. “Ad impetum!”
“Ad mortem hostium!” Antiues replied, which translated on Ryder’s HUD into 'To the death of our enemies'!
Horatius secured the city gate, opening the double doors. A single flare shot up past the smoke, signaling to the Americans and Legionaries outside the city. Within seconds, four Wagonettes rushed through the gates. Three of the skeleton-framed vehicles were equipped with light accelerators, and one had its troops carrying section replaced with a small amplifier.
When the vehicles stopped, the amplifier darkened the plaza, stripping the environment of light with powerful Luxmancy magic. Then, swordsmen at the edge of each slot grabbed their scutum and jumped out, fanning out and attacking the disordered enemy. Right behind them, warriors were exiting their vehicle.
Quickly behind the Legionaries were eight American Archer Infantry Fighting Vehicles, with their 50mm cannons firing at targets. They stopped next to the Wagonettes, and soldiers from the 4th ID came storming out, joining in the fight.
“That is a sight,” Forest said.
“We have a foothold,” Ryder said. “Let’s get down there, Comanche.”
Ryder was the first to slide down the ladder to the lower levels. The moment he turned, his nervousness was rattled when he saw a frozen vampire corpse frozen against the wall. Then a kiriyak sank into the ground with a sinkhole spell, with the upper half also frozen.
King put away his tomahawk with other dead bodies around, many hacked to death. “Bottom room secured, sir.”
“Damn,” Higgins said. “You all been busy.”
Fraeya drank a blue mana potion before tossing the bottle. “You said make sure no one entered.”
Ryder placed his hand on her shoulder, stating how proud he was and that he, along with the rest of the team, could trust her. The words brought much joy to the Elf Girl, nearly jumping with joy.
He then looked at Gonzales and Barrett. “Is he operational?”
“Yes, sir,” Gonzales said. “The plating absorbed most of the impact. He was lucky the weapon wasn’t enchanted.”
“What, Boss?” Barrett said. “No warming compliments for me?”
“If you were prettier, there would be,” King commented.
“And that is why he is my XO,” Ryder responded before helping his Sergeant First Class onto his feet.
There was some chuckling among the team as everyone shed the stress of the moment. When Natilite arrived, Fraeya quickly bragged about how everyone agreed that she was the prettiest in Comanche.
With the humor aside, Comanche rallied; they rushed out of the bunker, navigating through the residential streets. There were terrified civilians everywhere, of course, as the war had reached their streets. However, hundreds were flooding the streets, attacking the checkpoints. Some cause diversion to reinforcements, and others create as much chaos as possible, with some chanting the Princess's name.
This made Mathew Ryder, the Duke of Velunara, proud. With the capture of city after city, village after village, it was reassuring to see the natives wishing to be liberated. Not only did he embrace his daughter’s new nation because it annexed it.
This caused Comanche to assist the rebelling militia by taking out a few checkpoints, as they didn’t have any serious weaponry of their own. Either taken away by the Aristocracy or never allowed by their lord. Regardless, they assisted when they could.
After joining with the British Royal Special Commandos Redcoat at an intersection, they made their way to the main street plaza below. When they arrived, it was chaotic. One of the Archers was on fire; a LATT flipped over in smoke. The amplifier orb had multiple cracks from overuse. The American Legionaries are digging in as they repel the occupier's counteroffensive.
“Alright, Comanche,” Ryder said. “Advance!”
