Welcome to Season Two!
Come one, come all to Carnival Cavalcade Wrestling, where battles rage in and out of the ring, and relationships are everything, as stars and underneath girls alike try to survive while daring to fight for more.
Carnival Cavalcade Wrestling is an ongoing serial set in a regional women’s pro-wrestling organization somewhere in the American heartland. It is written completely in kayfabe, which means this is not a story about the real-life pro-wresting business, it’s a pulpy, dynamic, romantic ongoing serial set in the fantasy world pro wrestling creates.
Each week will feature one or two episodes of CCW Chaos, cinematically written posts that present a full card — in the ring and backstage — as you’d experience it on TV. There will also be BONUS posts featuring card previews, wrestler interviews, win-loss records, and other fun stuff to enhance the main storylines.
In the show posts, each match will feature a Tale of the Tape, in which the participants are described in terms of physicality, status (star, underneath girl, champion), ring attire, and win-loss record. This will allow readers to consistently envision the characters as well as track their progress, or lack thereof, in the CCW ranks and hierarchy.
There will also be a post updating the win-loss records for the entire roster, as well as the listing all the additional characters (referee, officials, announcers, etc.)
We are joining an organization already in progress. Below are bios for the entire Carnival Cavalcade Wrestling cast as we enter Season Two, starting with the organization itself. Please enjoy them as you get ready for the Season Two premiere, which will feature a steel-cage match for the CCW Championship in the main event.

Bios
Carnival Cavalcade Wrestling
Carnival Cavalcade Wresting is a rural, regional professional-wrestling organization — somewhere in the American heartland — with local television coverage and a website. When it was founded, CCW was an underground, dark, dirty affair, with little actual wrestling and a penchant for appealing to the basest desires of the (bloodthirsty, male) crowd.
Over time, CCW has evolved into a more traditional pro-wrestling company, with established stars and blue-chip rookies battling for the company’s three championships: the tag-team championship, the Tri-County Championship, and, the top title, the Carnival Cavalcade Wrestling Championship.
The roster consists of stars, established pro wrestlers contending for titles and glory, and underneath girls, women of all stripes — often with limited athletic ability but high sex appeal — who sign with CCW for the opportunity to be pro wrestlers knowing they’ll be booked almost exclusively as over-matched opponents in showcase matches for the stars.
Few underneath girls ever progress beyond that status, but it can happen.
As Season Two begins, CCW Interim Commissioner Jules Moreno, a former broadcaster for the company, must guide the company as it moves further beyond its dark origins. At the top, CCW is governed by an unseen board of directors.
Last season’s invasion by the wild underneath girls known as The Pack is over, but, as Season Two begins, Outlaw Annie Hook, a crafty, sadistic veteran star, has formed a stable called The Posse and is challenging for the CCW Championship, currently held by the rough and tumble Betty Magnum.
Cassie Rae
The longest-serving wrestler on the roster, Cassie Rae is, in the eyes of some, the heart and soul of the company. She began her CCW career almost 10 years ago, losing all her “matches,” which were really exhibitions of fetishistic humiliation disguised as wrestling. Living that role ate up most of Cassie's 20s and hollowed her out inside. By the time she made the switch to underneath girl, Cassie was a wrestler going through the motions, resigned to her fate of constant defeat…
That changed when Cassie entered a tumultuous relationship with fellow underneath girl Tiana Miles. Cassie gained confidence and belief in herself — as a wrestler and a woman — but things turned toxic and Tiana was suspended from the company after she tried to force herself on Cassie in a room deep in the CCW Arena.
Although she was a rising star when her relationship with Cassie ended, Tiana later resurfaced as the leader of The Pack, a destructive group of rogue underneath girls. Confronting her tortured past and the Pack invasion simultaneously, Cassie defeated Tiana in a Loser Leaves CCW Match, banishing her ex from the company forever.
Today, Cassie is still an underneath girl, but she’s also the respected leader of their locker room and enjoys a degree of respect from some outside it. She’s also become an increasingly cunning opponent in the ring.
As Season Two begins, Cassie is in a deep, tender romantic relationship with fellow underneath girl Sunny Austin. Through adversity, they grew closer and more in love over the course of Season One.
Cassie Rae is 34, 5’3”, and 130lbs, with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She wrestles in a half tee, low-rise cutoff jean shorts, and short, black wrestling boots.
Sunny Austin
Always barefoot in her signature orange-and-white bikini, regardless of where she is in the CCW Arena, Sunny Austin is determined to break free and be one of the only underneath girls to become a CCW star. It hasn’t happened yet.
Saying that, Sunny — with her long, strong legs and lithe, graceful body — enters Season Two with the most wins in the underneath locker room, which has her positioned as a possible contender for the Tri-County Championship.
As athletic and agile as she is gorgeous, Sunny’s wrestling skills are constantly developing, as is her romantic relationship with Cassie Rae, to whom she is fiercely loyal.
Beautiful inside and out, soulful Sunny is perhaps the company’s purest heart, a strength and a weakness in CCW.
Sunny Austin is 24, 5’11”, 140lbs, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She wrestles barefoot in an orange-and-white bikini.
Jules Moreno
When the board of directors fired the sinister Hollis Hollander as CCW commissioner at the end of Season One, Jules Moreno, a former backstage interviewer and reporter, was promoted from straight-shooting deputy commissioner to interim commissioner.
Now in charge of both wrestler contracts and matchmaking, Moreno will try to advance the company’s evolution, and its bottom line — while maintaining some sense of professional-wrestling tradition and dignity — until a new permanent commissioner can be found.
It won’t be easy.
Sarah Lawrence
Leaving her liberal, east-coast college for a year to come to the heartland and study the psychology and spectacle of women’s professional wrestling, Sarah Lawrence signed with CCW as an underneath girl and racked up four quick, emphatic defeats before becoming a referee.
When Hollis Hollander was fired, Interim Commissioner Jules Moreno, recognizing Sarah’s brains and breadth of experience in a short time with the company, made Lawrence her special assistant. As Season Two begins, punky, blue-haired Sarah will do what she can to help Moreno navigate the often raging sea that is CCW.
Gothica
Gothica has been in and out of CCW three times.
In her first run, she was an underneath girl who said the wrong thing at the wrong time in front of Commissioner Hollander, who forced her into humiliatingly skimpy ring attire and sent her to be destroyed by stars whenever it pleased him, which was often.
Broken in mind, body, and spirit, Gothica escaped CCW — with indirect help from Cassie Rae and Tina Miles — and went to fellow escapee Jules Moreno, a former CCW broadcaster, for help. Moreno, with edicts from the board of directors, returned with Gothica to CCW, where, as Aubrey Blackburn, Gothica signed a new underneath-girl contract and set about to do things the right way.
But the losses piled up, even faster than before, and Aubrey, despondent, fell in with the newly formed Pack, a cadre of winless underneath girls dedicated to depravity, chaos, and inflicting the humiliation they’ve suffered on other vulnerable wrestlers. Back in her Gothica persona and acting as a quasi-high priestess for the bizarre, lascivious Pack, it appeared Aubrey Blackburn was lost for good. But, after defeating Gothica in a key match, Cassie Rae arranged for her to be taken from The Pack, and Gothica was able to reset herself mentally and emotionally.
Now that her former group is no more, Gothica begins Season Two as a CCW underneath girl for a third time, determined, more than ever, to earn her place and pay her dues.
Gothica is 22, 5’4”, 135lbs with dyed black hair and green eyes. She wrestles in a backless, black singlet with a shear middle and black gladiator sandals with straps up to her knees.
Jessica Kelly
Signing with CCW as an underneath girl seemed like a good opportunity for Jessica Kelly, a dedicated young pro wrestler, to develop her skills and make her way up the ladder. But a series of humiliating defeats left her directionless and bitter, and Jessica was easy prey for recruitment into The Pack.
But she was never comfortable in that group and, when Tiana Miles took over The Pack, Jessica was beaten, branded with the group’s symbol, and sent back to CCW as a message to Cassie Rae.
Still an underneath girl, Jessica has gotten fitter, stronger, more skilled, and has managed to earn her first wins. Season Two could see Jessica break out, though, in CCW, it’s impossible to know what’s coming next.
Jessica Kelly is 23, 5’4”, 125lbs, with light brown hair and blue eyes. She wrestles in a backless blue singlet, blue knee pads, and white boots.
Zehra
After a series of fast, emphatic defeats — and exploitative TV cameras — to start her CCW career, underneath girl Zehra gave herself to The Pack, a lascivious sect of underneath girls dedicated to chaos and depravity.
When Tiana Miles disbanded the group, Zehra used her sex appeal to become a sort of pet to Commissioner Hollander to preserve her spot on the roster. But, with him gone, the wild, sensual Turk has lost her way, beginning Season Two toiling as a winless opponent without ties to anyone.

Zehra is 25, 5’6”, 130lbs, with dark brown hair and green eyes. She wrestles barefoot in a beaded black bra top and black harem pants.
All-American Amy Steel
Originally thought to be a heroic, star-spangled firebrand, Amy Steel has proven to be a conniving, sometimes cowardly, hypocritical bully who despises underneath girls and will do anything to get her hands on the CCW Championship, for which she was former commissioner Hollander’s handpicked choice.
Diverting her attention to the tag-team ranks, Steel and BRICKHOUSE are currently dominating that division at its champions. But it’s fair to say the All-American’s ultimate desires still lie with the top title in the company.
All-American Amy Steel is 26, 5’8”, 160lbs with dirty-blonde hair and blue eyes. She wrestles in a garish patriotic-themed bra top with matching short shorts, knee pads, and boots.
Betty Magnum
If there is a legitimate hero on the roster, it’s Betty Magnum, the current Carnival Cavalcade Wrestling Champion. Tough and skilled with ring smarts and lots of heart, Betty is also a forthright woman who gives her opponents the respect they deserve.
Also a former Tri-County Champion, Betty has carried the CCW title with pride and passion since winning it in a Four-Way Elimination match on the premiere episode of CCW Chaos.
Betty Magnum is 32, 5’7”, 145lbs, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She wrestles in a denim-patterned bra top, denim-patterned athletic leggings, and cowboy-style wrestling boots.
Anna Konda
A former Tri-County Champion, beautiful Brazilian Anna Konda may be the ultimate CCW girl, combining sensual sex appeal with a deadly array of submission holds and grappling skills. Doesn’t hurt, at least in the eyes of the company’s traditionalist fans, that she’s also a confirmed sadist.
That said, Konda has shown some recent flashes of honor and humanity, and she begins Season Two angling for a shot at Betty Magnum’s CCW Championship.
Anna Konda is 32, 5’7”, 138lbs, with golden brown hair and light brown eyes. She wrestles in a snake-print bodysuit and black ballet flats laced over her calves.
BRICKHOUSE
A favorite of former commissioner Hollander, BRICKHOUSE is CCW’s straight-ahead wrecking machine. Burying underneath girls in seconds, often two at a time, BRICKHOUSE enjoys power and she enjoys winning — she has one of the best records in the company.
Despite that, championship success eluded BRICKHOUSE until she and All-American Amy Steel defeated The Coal Miner’s Daughters for the tag team championship. BRICKHOUSE is enjoying the run, but it’s possible Steel’s eye might wander to the greener pasture of Betty Magnum’s CCW title.
BRICKHOUSE is 28, 5’9”, 160lbs, with dyed dark-red hair and green eyes. She wrestles in a black sleeveless bodysuit, with a brick pattern down the front, and red & black boots.
Outlaw Annie Hook
Combining technical skill with veteran know-how and a pronounced sadistic streak, Outlaw Annie Hook is one of the most formidable stars on the roster.
She’s no longer branding her defeated opponents’ bellies with red ink, or whipping them with a cat o’nine tails, but The Outlaw still strikes fear in the underneath locker room and has battled her way to becoming a top contender for the CCW Championship. And with The Cowgirl Sisters at her side, the newly formed Posse promises to be a twister of malice and mayhem in Season Two.
Outlaw Annie Hook is 35, 5’7”, 150lbs, with dirty-blonde hair and blue eyes. She wrestles in a black singlet, black knee pads, and cowboy-style boots with red highlights. She also wears a black cowboy hat and black leather vest as entrance gear.
Sizzlin’ Scarlett Jackson
Blazing into the ring with her trademark speed and technical skills, Scarlett Jackson found early success as a CCW star and converted it to a big win over Anna Konda for the Tri-County Championship.
Scarlett has been an ally to the underneath locker room. She has a healthy respect for Cassie Rae, her matches with Sunny Austin have been classics, and she’s had a tough rivalry with Teresa Salazar. Most recently, Scarlett has taken an interest in training hard-luck underneath girl Tiffany Green, but we’ve yet to see for what purpose.
Sizzlin’ Scarlett Jackson is 26, 5’5”, 130lbs with dyed bright-orange hair and light-brown eyes. She wrestles in a shiny orange & white bra top, shiny orange booty shorts, shiny white knee pads, and orange basketball sneakers with white highlights.
The Iron Maiden
Looking like The Road Warrior crashed into an S&M club, former CCW Champion The Iron Maiden is the most powerful physical force in the company. Dominant and domineering, Maiden is also the in-ring conscience of the company. She doesn’t see the value in destroying and degrading underneath girls, preferring to seek out the biggest, best wrestling competition and testing her power. She has developed a genuine hatred for All-American Amy Steel but, with Steel in the tag-team ranks, Maiden has set her sights on Betty Magnum’s CCW Championship.
The Iron Maiden is 35, 6’, 175lbs with dyed silver hair and gray eyes under contacts with little mushroom clouds in them. She wrestles in a black & silver sleeveless bodysuit, a silver-studded black belt, and chunky two-tone black & silver boots.
Tiffany Green
Born and raised in Oakland, California, Tiffany Green came to CCW in an open call for an opponent for Outlaw Annie Hook and, after losing, signed as an underneath girl. Tough, fit, and brash, Tiffany has some skill as a brawler, but it hasn’t helped her be more than an opponent for better, more skilled wrestlers.
Her losses have taken a toll on her, mentally and emotionally, but Tiffany may have a benefactor in current Tri-County Champion Scarlett Jackson, who’s been training Tiffany and psyching her up to be a more formidable, well-rounded wrestler.
Tiffany Green is 27, 5’7”, 140lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. She wrestles in a green-camo bra top, black athletic leggings with white stripes down the sides, and two-tone black & white boxing shoes.
Chloe Suzuki
The smallest woman on the roster, underneath girl Chloe Suzuki is sexy, adorable, and loves posing for the men in the crowd. She’s also the fastest wrestler in the company. As determined in the ring as she is flirty outside it, Chloe uses what she’s got to survive in CCW.
Unfortunately, Chloe was a casualty in CCW’s war against The Pack. Kidnapped and branded with the group’s symbol, Chloe’s mind and spirit have yet to fully recover now that The Pack is over and she’s back in the underneath locker room. The company paid to have the brand removed, but the trauma of receiving it is still affecting Chloe’s ability to focus and try to compete.
Chloe Suzuki is 20, 5’, 115lbs with black hair and hazel eyes. She wrestles barefoot in a red bra top, red booty shorts, and red wrist and ankle tape.
Melora O’Brien
Former commissioner Hollander loved to torture underneath girls. Last season, he offered smart, shapely Melora O’Brien, who’d gained weight since her CCW debut, a chance to wrestle a match she had a good chance of winning…if she wrestled it in a bikini. Melora wore the bikini and won the match. She’s wrestled in the bikini since.
Melora brings a surprising degree of skill and strength to her matches. She’s also become a positive presence in the locker room. But, like so many underneath girls destined to stay there, her weakness — in this case, her lingering lack of conditioning — is significant.
Melora O’Brien is 25, 5’5”, 145lbs with red hair and green eyes. She wrestles in a green bikini, white knee pads, and green boots.
Riley Slade
The youngest woman on the roster, underneath girl Riley Slade arrived in CCW on the bus from the rural south, untested and naive, with big dreams of being a wrestling star. Everyone noticed her resemblance to Cassie Rae, earning her the nickname “Little Cassie.”
It also earned her Cassie’s attention. In Riley, Cassie sees the young wrestler she never got a chance to be. Riley and Cassie have become like family, with one of the strongest bonds in the company.
Although Riley has lost all but one of her matches, she’s slowly developing from clueless rookie to worthy opponent.
Riley Slade is 19, 5’4”, 115lbs, with light brown hair and hazel eyes. She wrestles in a tee-shirt knotted into a crop top, cutoff booty jean shorts, and white Skippy sneakers.
Teresa Salazar
A divorced mother of an adult son and former pro wrestler of some success, Teresa Salazar is making a comeback in her mid-40s. Signed as a CCW underneath girl, the only contract she could get, Teresa remains aloof, even haughty, in the locker room, as her desire to re-prove herself and her considerable ring skills to the world is absolute.
Even if it means taking a few shortcuts along the way.
But she’s also been a strong ally to her fellow wrestlers at times — Cassie Rae in particular — and maneuvered herself into contention for the Tri-County Championship, despite her losing record.
There’s maybe a touch more life on Teresa’s face than there should be, but she’s still beautiful, still sexy, and still a force inside the ring and out.
Teresa Salazar is 44, 5’8”, 135lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She wrestles in a backless, black singlet, cut high over her hips, black knee pads, and black boots with a blood-red flame pattern embroidered in them.
Hannah Hammer
A recent addition to the CCW star locker room, Hannah Hammer has already been described by an opponent as like trying to wrestle a closed refrigerator. Hannah is stout, strong as hell, has the friendliest demeanor in the company, and has no trouble letting her opponents come to her so she can crush them. Already a championship contender, everyone on the CCW roster is going to have to deal with Hannah eventually.
Hannah Hammer is 23, 5’7”, 160lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She wrestles in short denim overalls, a yellow tee, and brown work boots.
Josie Myer
It’s very likely no one has ever set foot in the CCW underneath locker room with Josie Myer’s attitude. Full accepting she was signed to be overmatched against the biggest stars in the company, Josie has approached each of her matches — all losses so far — with a pragmatic, almost sage vow to learn from every opponent that beats her.
Josie has also become a positive, palliative presence in the locker room, helping her fellow underneath girls survive their collective plight.
A former high-school gymnast improving her fortitude and her skills with every defeat, Season Two could easily be a breakout one for Josie.
Josie Myer is 24, 5’6”, 125lbs, with a curly mop of dark brown hair and brown eyes. She wrestles barefoot in a plain, black sports bra and cuffed, gray, low-rise sweatpants. She wears black flip-flops to the ring.
Shauna Carson
Don’t you hate it when you’re in college, you get drunk with your friend, and you accept $50 to have a match at a wrestling show only to find out you’re not wrestling your friend, but the two of you have to get into cheap bikinis and face a submission assassin called Anna Konda?
And don’t you hate it when, after Anna Konda mauls and degrades you and your friend, you’re stacked on a gurney and wheeled out of the arena, only to end up kidnapped by a cult-like offshoot of wrestlers who indoctrinate you into their campaign of terror against the wrestling company?
Apparently, Shauna Carson, who was known as “Blonde” in The Pack, didn’t hate those things enough. She’s back in CCW as an underneath girl, wrestling under her real name. The quick, emphatic defeats are already piling up…but we’re not sure Shauna hates that either.
Shauna Carson is 21, 5’5”, 145lbs with blonde hair and blue eyes. She wrestles barefoot in a cheetah-print singlet and black knee pads.
The Coal Miner’s Daughters
Solid, tall, rough-hewn but pretty girls, Shannon and Brianna bring no-nonsense, down-home determination to the ring, careful to never do anything that would bring their family shame.
After losing the tag team titles in Season One, The Daughters have taken a turn toward intense morality, vowing to clean up CCW of wrestlers they feel hog the spotlight with things like skimpy costumes and sex appeal.
Shannon is 25, 5’8”, 150lbs, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She wrestles in gray denim overalls, a red bra top, and black work boots. Brianna is 23, 5’8”, 150lbs with brown hair and hazel eyes. She wrestles in gray denim overalls, a blue bra top, and black work boots.
The Cowgirl Sisters
The Cowgirls, Diamond and Platinum, are a veteran tag team in CCW, specializing in taunting the crowd and their opponents in equal measure. Snotty, sassy, and conceited, The Cowgirls’ beauty is subverted by their every action.
Finding their potency as a team slipping, Diamond and Platinum have recently thrown their lot in with Outlaw Annie Hook to form The Posse, a group they hope will take them back to CCW glory. No matter what it takes.
Diamond is 26, 5’5”, 130lbs, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Platinum is 24, 5’5”, 130lbs, with blonde hair and green eyes. Both Cowgirls wrestle in black cropped tank tops, black bike shorts, black knee pads, and two-tone black & white boots.
The Russian Farmhands
Direct from somewhere cold and unforgiving, Anya and Olga bring a clubbing, powerful presence to the CCW tag ranks. Although they’ve proven to be a beatable team on several occasions, The Russian Farmhands remain set on dominance.
Anya is 28, 5’9”, 160lbs, with dyed dark-red hair and green eyes. She wrestles in a black singlet, red knee pads, and black boots. Olga is 30, 5’10”, 165lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She wrestles in a dark-red singlet, black knee pads, and dark-red boots.
Wink McLean
His tuxedo and hairstyle always immaculate, backstage interviewer Wink McLean has found subtle ways to tell CCW’s true stories. His sit-down, in-depth wrestler interviews have become musts for the fully-informed fan.
Duke Derringer
A broken-down ex-wrestler, Duke Derringer, with his bald head, broad mustache, and thick frame, remains a formidable enough presence to command CCW’s six security guards effectively.
Referees
Charged with trying to maintain order between the ropes, the CCW corps of referees — Clark Sierra, senior official Jack Blake, Jessie Motley, Randy Hickman, and Roger Clayton — is dogged, dedicated, and often completely overwhelmed.
Jimmy Swift
Jimmy is CCW’s pencil-necked, bow-tied, golden-throated ring announcer, who’s often horrified by what he sees go on in the ring.
The Timekeeper
He keeps time and gets messages from the production truck. That’s all we know.
Hortense Nepperhan
Interim Commissioner Moreno’s secretary. She doesn’t care if you go right in.
