I was sitting in this stranger's rest area its quite diffrent from the rest of the house it darker and gloomier.
skulls decorated on the wall with wartwick moss attached to walls and spider webs to the corners this was more eerie than the rest of the house,
The stranger brought out a chair from the corner of the room and sat right in front of me looking serious.
“How did you find me” said the stranger
I stared blankly into his eyes son of waters this man was beautiful in case i have not mentioned it before woooow.
He already had an annoyed look on his face and then i said something that to this day as I'm saying this, I wish I hadn’t.
“ummmm are you one of those supposedly dead or asleep races” i said this out of pure curiosity I'm not a sea slime I swear,
There was a brief but recognisable flash of not grief or anger at my insensitive question but there was a look of pure emptiness and emotionlessness this was someone that not too long ago looked like an angry griffin ready to attack someone who walked on its turf.
Dark vines began to entangle my body i was ready to try and break free and fight back but the seed again intervened and this time he got up his hand raised against the seed ready to attack the seed but the seed got the upper hand from its jar by using its magic to wrap around him not violently i could tell as he still had that same look on his face.
He seemed to have calmed down, and the seeds magic seemed to have released him he went back to the chair he put in front of me and sat down this time he asked again

“How did you find me”
I got up and pointed at the dark patches of grass on the floor leading to the dark oak hut
“Magic may be gone from the world itself, but my forest still holds memory and magic” i said hoping that would be enough of an answer.
“How were you able to make the pod of life react” he said looking at me hoping he would see me holding or carrying something that would explain everything.,
I told him the magic from the seed irritated my eyes,
he looked at me confusingly,
“Did the magic irritate your eyes when you were in the deeper parts of the green forest” he asked with urgency in his voice
i said “only when I was walking near the areas where the grass had turned black”
He turns back to the glass window near where we were sitting and he asked me
“what's your name”
“what's in a name” I replied
“My name is Raine”
“ i sense that you still posses a significant amount of magic even though those who can still use the power of the threads either possess little or no magic and are most likely dead” he said this with a suspicious tone
“I am one of many creatures, I am the forest own” this is the best way to answer his questions
“do you have a name” he said,
“what's in a name” I replied again,
“Do you remember your name” he asked again and I gave him the same response
“you mentioned the magic from the seed irritated your eyes why did you then come closer to it are you one of the forest creatures that just gained sentience or a fairy who just reached of age or.... are you just stupid”
“....” i looked at this creature in speculation
“Actually, the last one sounds about right considering where that led me to”
He still looked at me suspiciously, but what caught my eyes was the bone crown on his head that matched with everything else in this place it made me think maybe he’s a hunter looking to score magic from the creatures here, as i am part of this forest i will never let him take any creature but as i was about to prepare to attack i saw the houses front grass turn completely black and decay spreading through the air i also saw Raines white hair turn an old and brittle white and his eyes rolling to the back of his head the seed tried its best to protect using a magic barrier to try and stop whatever this was but it was stronger and it started to take the house and barrier apart. I grabbed the seed and passed out Raine and decided to teleport out of the dark oak area of the forest with my tread.
