LXV: SEPARATE WAYS

“WHAT IN THE THRACK IS THAT?” KAZE ASKED IN CONFUSION as he watched the former Voltairan Emperor’s Personal Astro-Shuttle break up through the storm clouds.

Looking upward as well was Lero who said with a surprised expression on his face, “Tis… Tis the EMPEROR’s Personal Astro-Shuttle!”

Eyes widened as he looked to Lero for a brief second, Kaze looked back up at the emperor’s astro-shuttle.

“The emperor?” Kaze said in confusion. “Do… Do you think he’s escaping? Do you think he made it out before Magnus could reach him?”

“I do not know. Hard to tell.”

“Well, if so, then SOMEONE has to stop that thracker! SOMEONE HAS TO MAKE HIM PAY FOR HIS CRIMES!!! RAAAAH!!!”

  “KAZE, DON--”

  BLAST!

LEAPING HIGH UP towards the still stormy Voltairan skyways, Kaze ‘skyrocketed’ towards the Grand Emperor’s Personal Astro-Shuttle with the full intent of ‘bringing it down’, even if it meant that he had to lose his life-cycle in the process.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

It did not matter to Kaze. He was not about to let the most ‘psychotic being’ in the Known Universe (that he knew of) escape unpunished.

Right as Kaze was about to approach the former emperor’s astro-shuttle his trajectory was suddenly thrown off by…

“MAGNUS?!” Lero shouted in shock from the ground as the World-Breaker shot up from out of the Royal House of Voltair and passed by Kaze, using his telekinesis to send him flying back DOWN towards the Voltairan Surface.

Landing back on his feet, creating an ‘impact crater’ in the process, Kaze huffed in a mixture of anger and confusion as he, Lero, and everyone else who inhabited the ravaged streets of Voltair City watched both Magnus and the ‘former’ Voltairan Emperor break through the planet’s multi-layered atmosphere whilst heading in opposite directions.

Once the Breaker of Worlds and former Voltairan Emperor had left off-world, the rain suddenly stopped along with all of the thunder and lightning.

As Voltair’s Enslaved and free, high-society citizens of Voltair City stared at one another in mixtures of confusion, fear, disdain, and intrigue, both Lero and Kaze still looked up towards the cloudy skyways, which were immediately beginning to break apart and clear.

“Urgh… Where’s Magnus going?!” Kaze angrily demanded as he staggered on over towards Lero. “How could he let Voltair get away?! WHY DIDN’T HE THRACKING STOP HIM?!?!”

Narrowing his eyes to see if he saw either Magnus’s ‘glowing form’ or the fleeing emperor’s astro-shuttle, Lero shook his head whilst replying to the rattled young Jorrakan, “I don’t know, Kaze… I don’t know.”
