Reign, City of the Demigods and all those that served the gods, established almost immediately after the Trojan War nearly splintered the Greek world. Started by Chiron the Centaur and Achille's Divine Mother Thetis in an attempt to honor both their children and the gods, it was built in the site of what once Troy by all sides of the war after hearing a Divine Edict proclaimed by the Fates themselves.
"No more shall the gods fight against each other, too much tragedy has been unleashed these days...endless suffering, countless deaths... Nature burning itself alive. From this point forward, the gods will only fight through Champions. Battles between such beings will decide the path of your actions. The City shall be called Reign and through it, Peace will Reign once more!"
Only... that wasn't quite the case...
Gods, countless and cruel, from the world over started to create their own Sacred cities, arming their legacies with the means to bolster their power and position. The only silver lining from this? Pure mortals were allowed access to Reign Academy, where they too could rise to some level of importance. Though few ever rose beyond anything resembling a servant, it was with this hope that Alexandros lived.

From the moment he turned seven, having long since run from his family into the city of Reign, he joined Reign Academy in the hopes of mattering... today, one his twelfth birth, he was set to choose the path he wanted to walk. To choose which deity he wanted to serve.
One he had chosen so very, very long ago...
For him there was only one path that was worth the risk. Beyond Ares or Athena, beyond Zeus or Posiedon or Hades, Beyond Hepheastus or Aphrodite or Demeter...
The boy had chosen to serve Hecate, the Goddess of Magic, Witchcraft and Sorcery. The only Immortal that saw fit to allow humans to matter, to have their own power and sway... and so, with that in mind, he readied himself, waiting until he had the chance to make his choice and reveal who he would serve... and the path he would walk.
