After he came to Allaster felt a searing pain in his chest. Noticing the hole in his now ruined shirt he took it off. Looking down to where the pain was originating from. Purple lines broke off from a circle of the same color at the center of his chest.
“Fucking el’ that bloody hurt! What even was at’”
“Fusion complete” the strange voice rung out again making him jump but this time it seemed like it was in his head.
“Who are you?” Allaster asked quietly
“Our creators simply designated us as Revelation”
“That doesn’t explain much now does it, also can you switch to a way of communicating that doesn't make me jump every time you speak?”
“First statement not acknowledged as what you wish to know beyond our specification is unknown, second statement acknowledged, actioning request.”
The message appeared in the corner of Allaster vision and surprisingly it didn't startle him as much as he would have expected it to looking back on it. “Yeah that will work but could you please stop speaking in such a mechanical way?”
“Yes?”
“Umm, I guess a dame would be better than a man wouldn't it? Female?”
“Allaster, also the voice speaking or I guess writing before never specified what you are other than that you are named Revelation.”
“What do you mean current generation Deities also why do you keep saying we?”

“Wait I have so much more to ask! How do I get out of this horrible place?” After he finished reading it the rather large text screen disappered from his vision and nothing further happened.
“What does it mean by accent adjustment for modern English?”
Allaster diverted his attention to finding a way out. Walking around the room he eventually came to the back of the statue where he found a ladder down that wasn't there before.
“I guess this is it” Allaster mumbled to himself as he began to climb down. After walking for an unknown amount of time he found himself face to face with a door of a shape he had never seen before with no noticeable handle only a long metal bar running across it.
“What the fuck is this” trying to figure out how the strange door worked he pressed down on the metal bar which recessed into the door allowing it to open.
“I’ve never seen anything like this, since when was this here?”
After wandering around the now unfamiliar sewers he eventually found himself back at his original entrance only to see a completely unfamiliar city. The only things that remained similar to what he remembered were the old rusty iron gate and the river Thames that runs alongside the entrance to the sewers.
“Where the hell am I?”
Continuing to walk up the stairs he found himself surrounded by buildings he had never seen before. While taking in the scenery including all the buildings, the bizarre metal contraptions running down the street in place of carriages, the huge bridge now spanning the two shores of the Thames, the strange clothes everyone was wearing, and everything that caught his eye.
Suddenly time stopped and a figure clad in all black from head to toe appeared behind him. Before even having a chance to say a word he felt a force on the back of his neck then nothing.
*splash* “Wake up” “~Cough ~Cough where am I? Why am I tied to a chair? Who are you!”
“I’d like to ask who you are. Coming to the English district successfully taking a piece of Revelation and fusing with it none the less. All without a word spoken to me or the council.”
“What the hell is the council, once again where am I!” “Where do you think, we are in London you were just on the streets you should know that, and you truly aren't aware of the council?”
“So this is London! Why does it look so strange? Also no I am not aware of any council you speak of.”
“What do you mean strange and just forget the council I need to find why you are so baffled you're in London?”
“Where are the horses? There are all these extremely tall stone and metal buildings and a bridge I’ve never seen before that definitely wasn't there a few days ago!”
“Tower bridge? It began construction in 1886 I can guarantee you it was there yesterday.”
“1886! Then what is today's date?” Allaster asked frantically.
“Today is the 5th of May 2020.”
“2020! What the hell! I was born in 1787 are the calendars the same?” “1787 as in the beginning stages of the industrial revolution?” The strange man replied in an equally frantic voice.
“What’s the industrial revolution?” Allaster replied borderline screaming at this point.
“In short the beginning of the use of steam power!”
“Yes, that's right so what the fuck is going on!” Allaster’s voice rang throughout the whole office.
