Korénoor is a school of wizardry in the continent of Alaran. I have encountered many myths about this fabled place in my travels. One such myth was the where it was founded upon. It is said that it was founded on a site of a portal to the elementary plane of fire and that the portal was still active in the depths of the Korénoor's dungeons.

  Of course dear reader, I laughed this myth off, how could such place still exists if the portal was still active. Elementals would burn the place to crisp. There are many legends this place has produced ages past. But today when I visited this ancient school of magic, I found such legends lacking. Who knows maybe in future, it could produce one more legend.
