As Andy waited for the game to start up, an intro started to play.
Andy's view shifted from black space to a place high up in the sky that overlooked a continent. That continent was Fortis; it was filled with lush forests, open fields, and deserts. Andy also could just make out large cities throughout the continent, but they were so small in the grand scheme of things.
With each race said, Andy would see the capital of each race. The humans capital was huge, with towering stone walls and castles scattered throughout the interior. But none were as big or as beautiful as the king's castle. The castle had walls that looked to be made of marble, but it let out a soft glow. The walls protected a building of white marble and gold.
The elves lived within trees as tall as skyscrapers. Bridges link the trees together, and houses ran up and down the trunks of the trees. The biggest tree was at the center of this forest of these towering trees, it was only about two times bigger than the other trees, and it gave off an otherworldly light.
The dwarfs lived within a mountain range that cut across Fortis. Their city was deep within the stone. They had great halls of rock in that hollow cavern with a giant gem that showed with sunlight.
The orcs lived in a city that looks very much like the human city. But everything was dark grey. The walls were a dark grey stone, the houses, you guessed it, dark grey stone and wood. This, along with the grey mist that surrounded the city. Andy could sewer; he saw something massive moving in the mist.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
The beast kin lived on the flat plains. Their city was mostly made of wood. The city was out in the open with nothing around it for 100 yards making a kill zone. The city was the only thing to look of note for as far as you could see.
As the cut scene ended, Andy was pulled from his view of Fortis and put in a white room. The only thing in the white room with him was a box, an oak wood box. Andy went to open the box when a prompt appeared.
"Noctis"
This was the name Andy always used when starting up a new game. He first started using it in his 8th grade, and it stuck with him.
"Human"
You got to stay with the basics.
"No"
"yes"
As Andy said the word a slot machine of all things appeared in front of him. Sighing that the Devs how made this Andy looked at the pull lever with the big red nob. Sighing once more he pulled the lever. Hoping to at least get an uncommon start. The spinning started to slow and as it stopped Andy could not believe what he was seeing.
Andy could not wait to start playing.
