- I used a Physical move when P(Pando) knocked G(Grizzooka) out of the ring
How to fix it?
- DON’T use a Physical move when an opponent is out of the ring.
- Special and Status moves are the go-to when this happens
- Pando doesn’t have a Special move, only Status.
- Use
for my second turn; more Attack and Defense!!
If we battled again, what should I do?
- I go first
- Pando’s ability (Warriors Gaze: lowers SP. Attack and Attack by half; yay!) does its thing
- P gets in a
, stun G - If G flies out of the ring, use
for the second turn. If it doesn’t use again. This should put G’s HP somewhere around, I dunno, 20? Not enough to trigger rage mode - Use
for second turn. G is out of the stun, but extra Defense and Attack - G hits me with either
(weak) or (burning effect! ouch!) - P is on fire, but can still use
. Deals enough damage to trigger ‘Rage Mode’ - Forgot about the Health potions. I have no idea how many Archibald has, but they’re enough to get G’s HP to full with one. Go for another
to do away with that. - One more
and then on the second turn. 6 PP on left, but two give nice boosts. Effects stack, right? - Archibald will probably forfeit attacking because I only need two more moves and he’s done. Another Health potion, G is back to full HP.
- Straight
for all turns until G reaches ‘Rage-mode’. 10% boost to SP Defense should be enough to survive . I don’t know how damage is calculated, but P should still be at full HP; the last only did 33 damage (which is still a lot but won’t knock out P) - One more
and G is down.
- Archibald goes first
- Pando does his thing, lowers Attack and SP Attack by half. G either does
(hopefully) or (more likely)
might not have a lot of PP, so he uses it first turn and goes to ? Possibly.
- P may be on fire, but that’s okay.
and stun G. If G flies out of the ring, . If G doesn’t fly, another . - Here is where it gets tricky. Since P is most likely on fire, 6 HP is gone, we’re down to 49. Keep attacking and risk ‘Rage Mode’ and
? No boost to Defense since there hasn’t been an if G didn’t fly out...I’ll risk it. - G is in Rage Mode, uses
, P is down to around (49-33=16) +-16 HP - P does a
and we’ve won
How to deal with burning?

- Is there a potion for that? I don’t know if the Health potion will cover burning. I don’t know a lot of things for that matter.
Other Notes?
The duel was a disappointment, but I’m confident I might actually win if I follow this battle plan. I need to research more before I out into the big wide world again, though.
