A WEEK LATER
I've been working at the bar for a week now, I work during the day and train for three hours before bed.
My training has increased in speed, I've gotten used to using my akuma no mi and I've been using 1.3x gravity on myself while doing exercises. My body has improved a little, but nothing too fancy.
I can already use my power up to a circle with a radius of 25 centimeters, and the gravity of the place is 3x normal gravity.
While I was thinking about it someone walks into the Pub, and for the first time since I came into this world I meet Luffy, he's six years old now and hasn't met Shanks yet.
"Hi Makino-San." Luffy comes in and goes to the counter and sits down.
"See if it's not Luffy, what brings you here?" Makino doesn't seem surprised by Luffy's arrival.
"Bored ... I just came to talk." He says bored until he suddenly sees me behind the counter and looks surprised.
"Ehhn ... who are you?"
"He's working here his name is John." Makino-san introduces me.
"Hello, I'm John, you must be Luffy, nice to meet you." I introduce myself.
"Nee ... why are you working here?"
I keep talking to Luffy and nothing else happened that day.
ONE YEAR LATER
Nothing important happened at that time, Luffy shows up sometimes to talk.
Today I was once again helping to clear the counter and an event I had hoped for in time happened.
A group of people walked through the door of the Pub, the person in front, with red hair and a scar on the left side of his face appears. He has a straw hat on his head, and enters with Luffy following the group.
Redhead was obviously Shanks, he and Luffy are already familiar with how close they are. Shanks comes in laughing and sits at the bar.
“Hahaha, hey Makino did you hear? The crybaby here wants to be a hahaha pirate.” Shanks says and points to luffy laughing a lot.
"Heey, I'm not a whiner, I'm going to be a pirate and kick your ass Shanks."
"Hahahah, he said it again." Shanks laughs again.
"Stop laughing." Luffy screams stressed.
"Alright Luffy don't get stressed, have some juice here." Shanks says and hands the glass to Luffy.
“Ok! Thanks!”
“You really are a kid! Hahaha”
“What a dirty trick!!”
"I can't believe you fell for this luffy, hahaha." I couldn't stand it. Luffy is really innocent.
"Oree ... and you boy who are you?" Shanks seems to have noticed me.
“My name is John, I've been working here for a year.” I introduce myself.
"Ohh, and thinking about the time I was gone someone started working here." Shanks introduces himself and continues: "You see Luffy, he's your age and yet he's not in prey to go to sea."
"I don't like being on someone, if I'm going to be a pirate I'll be a captain."
Shanks looks startled, and he suddenly laughs, "Pffff, another kid wanting to be a pirate hahaha."
Everyone starts laughing and I just sigh in return.
Meanwhile, Luffy who had moved away.

“Hmph! I'm getting tired of this. ”Luffy walks away from the counter grumbling.
"Luffy, the captain's just doing what's best for everyone ..." Ben Beckman says and takes a drag on his cigar.
"The safety of the crew and ship rests on his shoulders. Being a pirate isn't all fun and games, you know… there's lots of duties like… pillaging, taking hostage, heavy drinking… and swimming! It's not that he wants to crush your dream of becoming a pirate."
“Well I don't believe it !!! Shanks just likes to make me look dumb. ”Says luffy angrily.
"Can't swim hahaha." Shanks says from the counter.
“I told you!” Luffy.
“Luffy, would you like something to eat?” Makino
"Yeah!" Luffy comes to the counter and sits down.

"Shanks ... How much longer will you stay at this village?" Luffy asks as he eats.
“Hmm… Let's see… after two or three more voyages…”
“Two or Three more Trips, eh? I'm gonna learn how to swim by the time you leave! ”
“That's good kid… do whatever you want.” Shanks responds still eating his meal.
I was watching Shanks and Luffy talking when suddenly someone kicks the door of the Pub.
“Make way for the Scourge of The Montains!”
It seems the story has finally begun, I go to the corner and let the story take its course.
“Heh Heh… so you call your selves pirates, eh? First time I've seen pirates… you look like a sorry lot to me. ”
Higuma (The Leader of Mountain Bandits) goes to the counter and says, “We're Mountain Bandits, we're not here to bust up the place. Just sell us 10 barrels of grog, and we'll only injure the bare minimum. ”
"I'm sorry…. We just ran out of liquor. ”Makino-san
“Hmmm… that's strange what are all these pirates drinking?”
“I feel kinda guilty… I guess we drank up all the liquor. Why don't you have this? It's still unopened. ” Says Shanks and gives the bandit a bottle.
Higuma picks up the bottle and smashes it into the head of Shanks.
"Oh my ... what a mess." Shanks crouches down to pick up the remains of the bottle. “Sorry abou this mess, makino. Give me a rag and i'will clean up.
The mountain bandit pulls out his sword and tries to hit Shanks, who dodge, the sword hits the counter.
“So, you like to clean? That ought to keep you busy for a while. ”Higuma walks away and on leaving the bar says,“ farewell… cowards."

“Shanks are you okay?” Makino
“I'm fine. No harm done. ”Shanks says and starts to smile.
“Har har har!” The whole shanks crew begins to laugh.
“Ha ha ha ha!” Shanks follows his crew and begins to laugh.
“Do you think it's funny ?!” Luffy who watched this scene gets angry. “He made you look like a weakling !!! Why didn't you fight him! You are a disgrace to all pirates! ”
Shanks smiles and says, "When you grow up maybe you'll understand kid."
Luffy rages and tries to get out, but Shanks grabs his arm. ”Hey, where you going?”
“Hmph! I will go find a real role model! ”
Luffy pulls away and suddenly his hand begins to stretch.
“His arm’s stretching !!! Did this mean ... did he ”Shanks
“WHATS'S WRONG WITH ME? !!!” Luffy despairs.
“It's not here !! The gum-gum fruit we took from that enemy ship !! ”Lucky Roo says as he looks at the chest where the fruit was.
“Luffy you didn't eat that fruit, did you !?” Lucky Roo draws the fruit on paper and shows it to luffy.
“Yeah… I see it for dessert !! It didn't taste all that great though… ”Luffy replies.
“That was the gum-gum fruit !! The fruit of the devil. If you eat it, your whole body becomes like rubber! And you will never be able to swim for the rest of your life. ”Shanks shouts.
"Whaaaaaaaat !?" Luffy.
“You Idiot !!!” Shanks.
“Anooo… why all this commotion?” I say from behind the counter.
"Ehn." Luffy and Shanks look at me.
"Well, I've already eaten a similar fruit and it's not that bad." I answer.
“Whaaat? Where did you find one? ”Shanks asks, surprised.
"Just when I was coming to foosha village I found her in the woods, I don't see why you're so nervous about it."
"You may not find it so bad, but if you go sailing you can never get in the sea." Shanks answers.
"Well, just don't fall overboard, I don't see any problems," I answer.
"And how do you think you can avoid that?" Shanks asks.
"My fruit has the power to control the gravity of things or people, I can't do anything now but maybe I can just float after getting used to it." I answer.
"Well your power seems pretty useful, but you're not invincible remember that." Shanks says a little seriously.
"Don't worry, I don't have a big ego."

A few days later I was talking to Luffy and Makino.
"The pirates have been out at sea for a long time." Luffy.
"Do you miss them, luffy?" Makino.
“After the way those mountain bandits humiliated them ?! Not at all! I really misjudged those guys! ”Says Luffy upset. “I thought they were brave and tough… but they're really just a bunch of wimps.”
“Maybe sometimes it takes more courage not to fight.” Makino.
"That's right Luffy, Shanks must have his reasons for not fighting," I say trying to calm Luffy.
“You just wouldn't understand. The real man has to stand up for himself, no matter that. ”
"It's not all that simple, Luffy." I say.
Suddenly the bar door opens and we hear someone talking ..
“Make way for the terror of the highlands!”
