Teaghan decided to start expanding her domain. Remembering what Zaella said, she started trying to push past her small room. Slowly but surely, she started being able to sense more, until she could not push anymore. Teaghan covered about 25 metres away from her from all directions. She tried, and tired, and tried, but she couldn’t get any farther. Giving up on that for now, she started thinking about what her first floor was going to be like. But first she had to figure out everything else that Zaella said.
After listening to the info dump that Zaella gave her, and learning how to access more information, Teaghan thought ‘status’ and a couple of blue boxes appeared before her.
After swiping this box her status finally appeared.
? Okay … now look at biomes ? stated Teaghan after reading her status.
Teaghan, after reading through each of the biome types, compared each one with her situation.
‘No, not grassland or river. Maybe the cave or forest?’ Though Teaghan was trying to decide which one to choose.
‘Most of the dungeon core novels I read back on earth made a cave system. But I don’t think that I want to do that. Or at least I don’t want to be stuck with the basic cave biome for the first couple of levels. I think I’ll go with the forest biome.’
‘Now, it’s time to set up my first floor’ thought Teaghan.
She imagined her floor to have three small rooms and one big room, with hallways branching out of the rooms. Now, it was time to figure out how to actually create it.
Teaghan pulled up her status screen again and checked to see if her mana refilled yet.
As it was, she started trying a couple of different ways to create these rooms. First she tried digging with mental hands, it did not work. Next, she tried calling up the blue boxes to try to make the rooms. As the saying goes, the third time’s the charm. This time Teaghan tried picturing exactly what she wanted, where she wanted, and tried carving out the rooms. Slowly, but surely, she carved out three smallish rooms about
5 metres wide and 7 metres tall.
Carving out the last room was the hardest. Teaghan had to stop multiple times because she ran out of mana. After all the rooms were finished, she started on the hallways. She connected the first room with the second and third with hallways that zigzagged around her domain. Teaghan decided to wait until she finished setting up her dungeon before she opened a path to the outside world.
Since she had the basic setup of her first floor ready, she decided to go ahead and select the forest biome.
? Okay, I’ll add those after I see the monster choices available. ? murmured Teaghan softly.
