The morning of the third day came about, it was time for another one of Taka's Meetings.

  "Roll Call!" Taka Barked

  "No thanks, we're all here." Said Leon.

  "Affirmative! Ibuki and Mukuro, how was your night?" Taka asked.

  "Eventful." Said Mukuro.

  "Yeah, we had-" started Ibuki

  "Silence! Night events are strictly confidential unless you have a safety concern!" Taka snapped.

  "Thankfully..." whispered Ryota.

  "Moving on, I will require the assistance of Nekomaru to help pn a team building exercise for us all." Said Taka.

  "You bet! I'll whip us all into shape!" Said Nekomaru.

  "Exercise? Whip into shape? Augh! The horror" cried Hifumi "Must I expose myself to such torture?"

  "You should expose yourself to some water, Tubby" Snarked Hiyoko.

  "Not only him." Said Celeste "Is that not the same kimono you've had on since we got here? The ribbon is even at the same angle."

  "S-shut up! I just... can't tie the ribbon myself is all." Said Hiyoko.

  "Um... I could help you with that Hiyoko." Said Mahiru "I'm pretty good with that kind of stuff."

  Celeste scoffs.

  "Really?! So we can wash each other too?" Said Hiyoko excitedly.

  "Uh, I didn't-" Mahiru Started.

  "Girl-on-girl action!" Said Ibuki.

  "Girl-on-girl action?" Said Teruteru.

  "Can you guys shut up about the girl-on-girl action so we can end this damn meeting and get on with our day?" Asked Mondo.

  "Alright, that about wraps it up." Said Taka. "Anyone that wants to help out Nekomaru and I with our pnning is welcome to. Meeting adj-"

  A familiar sound filled the lunch room.

  "Kehehehe! Wait, I have something to say!" Laughed Monokuma.

  "Why are you here?" Asked Sayaka. "We'll never fall into your despair!"

  "Is that so?" Questioned Monokuma "I so deeply want you to meet your new friends, or should I say, old friends? Kehe!"

  "W-what are you t-trying to say?" Asked Ryota

  "Oh, nevermind that. I have another proposition: If all of you are still alive come Tomorrow's meeting, I'll have to introduce a motive to get you guys a-killin'!"

  "What? Are you going to give us food or money or something? Like a more messed up version of Survivor?" Asked Peko.

  "M-maybe he'll open up the infirmary in case any of us get s-sick..." suggested Mikan.

  "Well... that's one thing that'll happen." Said Monokuma. "But that's bearly the start! Kehehehe! See you tomorrow~"

  With that, he was gone.

  "Empty threats. Pitiful." Scowled Mukuro.

  "Yeah, let's get on with our day already. I think I'm gonna go help out Taka and Nekomaru in the gym." Said Leon.

  With that, the meeting ended. Monokuma was just bluffing again... right?

  ***

  In the gym...

  While trying to create a team building exercise, Taka and Nekomaru were joined by Leon, Chihiro, Ryota, and Mahiru.

  "'Sup?" Asked Leon.

  "I'm n-not very good at team things, b-but I'll try my best!" said Chihiro.

  "Me too..." said Ryota "I h-have... a reason to improve myself!"

  "I already know you guys are gonna need some help with aesthetics." Said Mahiru. "Plus I'm not trying to run into Celeste. Luckily this requires effort, so I don't think she'll show."

  "What about that girl-on-girl action you promised Hiyoko?" Chuckled Leon.

  "Shut it." Said Mahiru.

  "W-what exactly are we doing anyway?" Asked Ryota.

  "Good question!" Replied Taka. "I propose we do a School Festival! We can all decorate a part of the school how we want, and admire the creativity and innovation of our peers."

  "I think an athletic competition would be better." Said Nekomaru. "It involves all students equally and requires us to work together as a team rather than individually."

  "What say you guys?" Asked Taka.

  "I mean..." Leon started "I'd be down for a festival, but whether I like it or not my talent is sports. I'd prefer the athletics."

  "I-I'd like the festival." Said Chihiro "I'd be a chance for everyone to decorate rooms in their own themes and maybe help us all learn more about each other and our interests... i-if that's ok..."

  "I a-agree." Said Ryota "I'd definitely want to learn more about... e-everyone else. And show everyone my animation abilities to inspire hope in them!"

  "I'll go Festival. I'd love to show off some of the photos I got!" Said Mahiru. "I had to print them out, but I think they still look amazing!"

  "Festival wins with a vote of 4-2!" Said Taka.

  "I'm not mad at it." Said Leon.

  "Democracy is teamwork too!" Said Nekomaru.

  "Then it's settled. I'll inform everyone at the next morning meeting!" Said Taka.

  "Maybe we should brainstorm some of our design ideas to see what we can come up with." Suggested Mahiru.

  The group talked for a long while and enjoyed a good few ughs.

  That afternoon, in the cafeteria...

  Sayaka entered to find the room completely empty, save for Hifumi downing a cinnamon roll in the corner.

  "Hmm..." Sayaka sighed. "Hey, Hifumi! How are you?"

  "Oh! Ms. Maizono, please excuse my appearance." Hifumi said, wiping off his face. "How may I be of service, M'dy?"

  "Actually, I, um... just wanted to talk to you! I think your talent is really... unique. And it's not fair that everyone makes fun of you just because you're a bit different socially."

  "Woah, all this coming from an idol... Many thanks, Ms. Maizono! But I've grown used to the feeling. The fanfiction life is one of many highs and lows. My room even came with a fanfiction, can you believe it? It was total garbage, but still."

  "Oh... now that you mention it, I had a few books in my room. Mainly makeup and fashion magazines. Now that I think about it, they weren't that good either. The lighting was all off on the models and their faces seemed... inhuman."

  "Indeed. Why, this fanfiction was supposed to be a murder mystery, but I'm almost 20 parts in and everyone is still alive!"

  "Hm... if he was going to make us live here forever, you'd at least expect Monokuma to give us things we'd actually like."

  "Such is life, dear Maizono. But thank you, it does feel good to be seen as more than a fat slob from time to time."

  "Hey now! You're always more than that."

  Sayaka gave Hifumi a genuine hug.

  "Ahh?! A hug from an idol? My life truly is complete now..."

  "Ahaha! You're so funny Hifumi! Here, I'll eat with you too!"

  With that, Hifumi and Sayaka shared time eating together. Maybe everyone isn't as they seem...

  The 3rd day closed with the same night announcement.

  "Mm, ahem, this is a school announcement. It is now 10 p.m. As such, it is officially nighttime. Soon the doors to the dining hall will be locked, and entry at that point is strictly prohibited. Okay, then...sweet dreams, everyone! Good night, sleeptight, don't let the bed bugs bite.."

  "Ahem" Taka started "Tonight's Monitors are... Hifumi and Mondo."

  Grumbles from both of them.

  "Additionally, due to Monokuma's announcement earlier, I've made an executive decision to add a third person to the lottery... Celeste, you will report as well."

  "..."

  "OK! Goodnight, all." Taka said, closing out the day.
