Alrighty then. Let's get down to business shall we? Time to start working on the second book. I understand some of you didn't like my first book. It was written poorly I know. I'm not a professional. I do think I'm getting better and I hope the story is what drives you to read. That being said this novel should be better in terms of tenses etc because I'm playing around with AI. Boy let me tell you two steps forward one step back with that darn thing.
As a reminder, my friends gave me ideas of what power they want for their character. I'm constrained to do what they asked for their character's power and back story. I have made some new friends over the years so they will get added in too. Let's start off with a summary of the previous book.
# Chapter 1: The Beginning Of The End
Cole, a dark-skinned man in his late twenties with a small black afro, awakens from a recurring nightmare featuring chaotic scenes and a mysterious woman's voice calling his name. The dream becomes more realistic each time, leaving him drenched in sweat. He dismisses it as anxiety about the recent news coverage of a "Super Solar Flare."
Cole lives with his eight-year-old nephew, Dimitri. While making breakfast, Cole watches a TV interview with Neil deGrasse Tyson discussing the solar flare phenomena, comparing the strange global sounds to "Space Quakes" caused by electromagnetic disturbances from solar activity. Tyson warns about the potential for a catastrophic "Kill Shot" solar flare that could cripple modern infrastructure and lead to societal collapse.
The broadcast is interrupted by a hacktivist group that reveals governments know the Kill Shot is imminent and have built secret bunkers for important individuals while planning concentration camps for others. They also declare war on a cult called the 12 Monkeys, who are allegedly planting nuclear bombs in cities to worsen the crisis.
Cole, now alarmed, urges Dimitri to prepare to flee to a bunker before the disaster strikes.

It introduces key characters like Shado and Ghyia while further exploring the ongoing threat of the demon Sariph. The revelation of Cole's designation as the "Star Child" sets up future conflicts and quests as he continues to uncover his role in this complex reality.
# chapter 19: the enlightened ones. I don’t have a summary for this one. It was also important speaking to the esoteric ideas of the after life. However I think ai didn’t like that they did mushrooms to go on a vision quest, but that’s important to showing how they unlocked coles potential.
