Chapter 9 The Antique Market (Part One)

Chapter 9 The Antique Market (I)

In 1992, antiques were just beginning to rise, and most of the people strolling through the antique market were older, with some young people, mostly antique enthusiasts. The antique market was a street, with shops on both sides, and vendors selling at the entrances of the shops where they wouldn't get in the way. Most of what was sold at these stalls was fake, with genuine items being rare. To buy genuine items, one would usually go to an antique shop along the street.

Buying antiques at a street stall is voluntary, and once the deal is made, there's no going back, whether you're the seller or the buyer. There are also people who try to find bargains at street stalls, but they are not many, after all, this requires good eyesight and luck.

No matter in which era, antiques and jade are high-risk investments. Many people have become rich overnight because of antiques and jade, while some have lost everything. Opportunities and risks always coexist.

Tang Ling was a little kid walking in the antique market, some were dazzling, and the stall owners didn't care about her as a little kid, just thinking she was a kid wandering around.

Tang Ling found antiques to be very novel, she had no contact with these things in her previous life, if it wasn't for the coincidence that she got Xiao Hui, she wouldn't have paid attention to these things. With Xiao Hui, she had an excellent external hanging for identifying antiques and jade stones, even lottery tickets could be identified, I don't know if antiques and jade stones can also be identified! She came here today just to do another experiment.

Tang Ling walked for a while and then squatted down at a stall. The stall had many things, but they were all very miscellaneous. The owner of the stall saw that it was just a little girl and didn't take her seriously.

"Don't touch carelessly, these things are not cheap, if you break them, you'll have to pay for compensation!"

Tang Ling didn't raise her head, still looking at the things on the stall, and picked out an inconspicuous bracelet from a corner. It was dull and unremarkable. Tang Ling held it in her hand and shook it, asking the stall owner, "How much is this bracelet?"

The stall owner glanced at the bracelet on Tang Ling's hand, which was obviously fake. He had bought it from a rural area for 2 yuan two years ago and planned to deceive someone who didn't know better by saying it was from the Republic of China era. Unfortunately, no one had ever asked about the price until now, but it was just a little girl asking, so he doubted she would buy it.

  "10 yuan, no bargaining!"

The stall owner said casually, this kid probably hasn't seen much of the world, he can take a liking to a broken wristband, he just thinks it's because girls love beauty and took a liking to the chain. If an adult asked, he would definitely not want so little money.

Tang Ling carefully swept her eyes over the stall again, confirming that there was nothing worth buying, and then took out 10 yuan from her pocket and handed it to the vendor, "Here's your money!"

The stall owner held the 10 yuan in his hand and watched as Tang Ling turned around and left, only reacting after a while, shaking his head in dismay.

"Oh! Whose child is this? So extravagant! If my daughter spent money like this, I'd have to spank her!"

Tang Ling, who had walked far away, waved the chain in her hand in front of her eyes. The chain was surrounded by a golden mist and smiled faintly. With a reverse turn of her hand, the chain disappeared. Tang Ling can now use Xiao Hui's space at will, every time she uses it, she just needs to think about it and move, it's really very convenient.

The genuine products are indeed rare on the small stalls in the antique market. After walking for so long, Tang Ling only found that the bracelet had a faint golden mist, and it was not easy to pick up leaks.

Tang Ling was strolling leisurely through the stalls when she suddenly felt Xiao Hui's emotions becoming agitated, as if excited to have met someone of the same kind. Tang Ling followed Xiao Hui to a small stall, where the owner was a young man who looked like he had just arrived and was about to set up shop.

The young man pulled out a dark red velvet cloth from the box, shook it open and spread it flat on the ground, then opened his large trunk and carefully took out one antique after another, arranging them neatly. When he pulled out a big black stone, Tang Ling seemed to see a seven-colored light flash by, very quickly, the little gray in her body was restless and stirring, Tang Ling could even hear her own heartbeat.

  That's it!

Tang Ling calmed down and took a deep breath. When she lifted her head again, she saw a scene that left her staring in shock!

The young man actually tossed the large stone to the ground, patted his hands, seemingly feeling that the stone was in the way. He walked forward and kicked it with one foot, seeing that the kick wasn't far enough, he continuously added a few more kicks until the large stone was kicked into the trash can on the side, then he stomped his feet and returned to his own stall.

The young man spat and muttered, "Who put this thing in my trunk! I said why was the trunk so heavy today!"

She had originally wanted to take a look at the young man's stall, but unfortunately everything that could attract Tang Ling had been kicked away by the young man, so she didn't have any reason to stay either.

Tang Ling couldn't help but laugh and cry at the same time. This guy carefully guarded a pile of trash, yet threw away his treasure like it was garbage.

  Holy cow!

Tang Ling took advantage of the young man's distraction as he arranged his belongings, and quickly walked to the front of the trash can. Looking at the stone lying in the trash can, Tang Ling let out a deep sigh.

Is this what they call birds of a feather? Xiao Hui was picked up from the trash can, and now there's another little black one.

She touched the stone with her hand, and Tang Ling had an indescribable feeling, very comfortable, as if every cell in her body was revived, extremely refreshing!

Tang Ling smiled slyly, another one picked up for free!

She turned her hand over and threw the stone into space. Since Xiaohui was so excited, she would give Xiaohui a chance. She didn't want to run around with a brick-sized stone in her hand.

Seeing a crowd gathering in front, Tang Ling decided to take a look. From the moment she discovered her ability to identify antiques, an unformed plan had been swirling in her mind!

  Digression

Queen of Trash! The King's Way!

What about the stone he picked up? What will happen next in the antique market? Who will appear next?

Sister! I've been watching for half a day, Third Master has been staring at you for half a day! Are you going to collect him?
