V1: Chapter 14: The Plot Thickens

Another peaceful morning at Falohan awaits us. Well, not exactly, but we’ll get to that when we get to that. I am your ever-present narrator, Lei Bo. For those who have forgotten, Qu Yi was introduced to her new phone. With this she can text and call the new friends she’s been making, her roommates Yan Liang and Wen Chou and also some of her fellow classmates, such as the twins Lu Kuang and Lu Xiang. She obtained a few phone numbers, and while she enjoyed it, not everything was so simple yesterday in Falofhan Boarding school.

Yuan Shao’s intimidating presence almost got to Qu Yi before her roommate Wen Chou came to her aid. After an examining of her wardrobe, Yuan Shao agreed to have a shopping trip this coming weekend with the three roommates. After a brief meeting with Yuan Shao’s younger sister, Yuan Shu, classes were cancelled early for the day. She spent some time learning about the physical activity portion of student life, while she enjoyed learning about baseball with her two roommates. Both were interested in seeing her archery skills. While showing them off well, she missed the last target as her senses were being attacked by past experiences and fears. She was then taken to the nurse’s office by me. After coming to, I explained the process of the currency earned in this dimension. A determined Qu Yi stated she was going to take everyone from this school back with her to her reality. After a somewhat awkward call to her mom, she felt rejuvenated and excited to be here and ready to take on the new experiences awaiting her.

Today Qu Yi has awakened before both her roommates. She stretches and scans her eyes around the room. She first looks to the bed close to the door. Yan Liang is cuddling up and hugging her pillow while wrapped under her covers, sleeping peacefully. Her hair is a mess instead of the usual collected style she has it in, which causes Qu Yi to smile. She has never seen it messy before. She turns her eyes to the far corner of the room, seeing Wen Chou’s bed. Wen Chou is sprawled out on her back, her covers barely on top of her. Qu Yi can see her in her tank top that matches the teal color of her hair. She also is wearing a pair of black shorts.

Qu Yi peeks around her room, trying to familiarize herself with it. She has a wardrobe next to her bed, and last night after dinner she unpacked her baggage into it with the help of Yan Liang and Wen Chou. Her empty suitcase is now neatly placed under her bed, her clothes filling her wardrobe full of outfits she hoped to never wear. She only briefly peeked in there last night and prefers not to be face to face with her wardrobe. She only went in last night to grab her current pajamas. Qu Yi looks down at her own clothes. They are a pink flannel pajama set. Of course, Yan Liang and Wen Chou talked about how the color suits her, something that she has been told about pink for the last two days. She lets out a small sigh. It’s going to take some getting used to, especially since she wants to take everyone back with her, but she’s determined to make it through, even if she has to live as a girl.

Qu Yi notices her backpack next to her bed. She grabs it quietly, making sure not to wake up her roommates. She begins looking through some of the things she has brought that are still present after the change. There are a few novels, some that she had been reading before she came to school. She notices a book unfamiliar to her. It is a thin, soft cover book, one that can fit in a back pocket. She remembers from the first day that I had bonked her head with it a few times. She rubs her head, remembering the incident, before looking at the title.

“Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Volume 1?” She remembers the conversation I had with her when we both walked into the schoolyard, new to this world. “Lei Bo said Yu Ji wanted me to have it?”

With her curiosity piqued; she pulls it out. Yu Ji is the bus driver and the one who created this world for her. Something that she wants Qu Yi to have, might be something that can help her in this world, right? It makes sense in Qu Yi’s mind, at least. She opens the book to discover very, very small print, so small that it’s disorienting to Qu Yi at first. “Ugh,” she mumbles to herself. “So much text on one page.” She tries to press on, but the book keeps throwing her names and- “Wait,” she mutters looking back through it. The way these names are, they’re… familiar. They match the names she has begun growing used to.

She looks back through some of the names. “Liu Bang? Liu Xie?” Two random names that wouldn’t mean much normally, but she heard that first name of both before. “Liu.” She mutters, trying to remember. She then snaps her fingers, “Liu Bei!” She covers her mouth. The excitement amplified her voice more than she expected. She looks between her two roommates watching for any sign of them waking. “Liu Bei,” she mutters to herself.

Qu Yi pictures Liu Bei again. She is one of the presidents of a class she had introduced herself to on her first day. The picture in her mind becomes clearer. She is an innocent, shorter girl with tannish, brown hair. She wore a long sleeve green shirt with a loose ribbon under a sailor collar, and had a light green skirt and spotted green tights. She remembers a fact about this school, the first names she is used to are actually the family names, while the last names are personal names. In that case, “Liu Bei’s family may have something to do with the contents of this book?”

She continues reading. The story talks about eunuchs and corruption. She skips over many unfamiliar names but another name sticks out to her a paragraph later. “Cao Jie?” She connects this one much quicker. “Cao Cao,” she whispers to herself. The class president and apparent rival to Yuan Shao’s class, the one who is really interested in getting Qu Yi to join her class. Qu Yi has to check the spelling, she had added Cao Cao’s sister to her contacts yesterday. She opens her phone that’s charging on her nearby nightstand.

A text message lays on her phone’s front screen, but she’s too focused to read it at the moment. She slides it to the side with her thumb as she opens up her contacts. Her eyes scan until she finds the one she is looking for, “Cao Hong,” she mumbles. The family name indeed is spelled the exact same way. Qu Yi quickly looks back into the book. It talks of dynasties, so… these have to be Chinese names? Then the question comes into her mind, “But why?” If that’s the case for these names, then perhaps everyone’s name here shares the same quality. Why did this dimension she’s now in have Chinese used for everyone’s name?

Qu Yi quietly and slowly steps out of her bed to a nearby vanity table with a mirror. She looks at her own reflection. She doesn’t look any different since she came her. Well, that’s a lie. She is, in fact, a girl, but she is the spitting image of her mom from photos of her at fourteen. If everyone here is actually Chinese, why would they not question why she has the same type of name? She shakes her head. No, wait. She’s trying to apply logic and sense to this dimension. This is indeed a different dimension, one created by Yu Ji. The rules of geography and physical traits of her world don’t seem to have power here. Qu Yi turns around and jumps back on her bed, next to the book and reopens it. She’s on the trail, the trail of, something. She doesn’t even know herself, but it feels like a puzzle that needs to be solved. She continues to read, muttering words at random as she scans past them, “Emperor Ling, black serpent, Luoyang, evil omen, Cai Yong, Chief Eunuch Cao Jie-”

“Whatchu reading?” a sudden voice asks from behind Qu Yi

“KYAAAAA!” Qu Yi screams in shock, throwing the book up before covering her mouth. Not only is her scream loud, it probably wakes up others around the dorm.

Yan Liang jolts up from her sleep. “W-Wha?! What happened?” She looks around disoriented before turning to Qu Yi. “Qu Yi? Wen Chou? Are you okay?”

Qu Yi turns around slowly to see Wen Chou peeking over her shoulder. She’s just as surprised as Qu Yi; however, she then bites her tongue, and her hands move to quickly cover her mouth, trying to hold back laughter. “I’m sorry. I was just, I was just asking. I didn’t mean to scare you, pffft,” she lets out between chuckles.

Yan Liang stares for a bit, confused at the two, before she begins to chuckle also, “Sorry, Qu Yi. I-I just didn’t know you had something like that in you.” She smiles at her. “I didn’t know you could get that loud.”

Qu Yi blushes as she looks down. She didn’t expect that she’d scream, well, like a girl. She lets out a sigh, trying to ignore the idea for now.

Wen Chou sits on her bed and puts her arm around Qu Yi’s shoulder. “I really didn’t mean to scare you, Newbie. You just seemed so entranced in your book. You ran from the mirror back to your bed. It made me curious.” She pats Qu Yi’s back.

Yan Liang stretches as she stands up, her black hair down to her midback when not styled in her usual upturned edges. She walks over and sits next to Qu Yi on the other side. “So, what was so interesting?” She smiles curiously.

Qu Yi’s mind works quickly, unsure if she should let them know about the book and the familiar family names in it. “I-It’s really nothing. It was just, a part, in… the book I was reading,” she lets out, trying to play it off. She wants to research more before letting them in on the secret, and with Yu Ji giving it to her, it might have something that even mentions them. “S-Sorry for waking you up.” She looks down at her hands, trying to avoid eye contact.

Yan Liang smiles calmly to Qu Yi. “It’s okay.” She lets out a yawn. “It is a little early, but let’s get ready.” She perks up. “Oh! If you like reading, we haven’t shown you the library yet. You can see if any books there look interesting!”

Qu Yi blushes, wanting to change the subject. “Y-Yeah, sure I wouldn’t mind.” She looks to Yan Liang, trying to grow the courage to ask something. She lets out a preemptive sigh as she knows she must ask what she’s about to ask. “Um, Yan Liang, since, you know, you’re so good at hair, and, as you know, my mom helped me with mine before I came here,” talking as if more trying to remind herself of her own fib then explain to Yan Liang. “Could you, um, maybe help me be a bit more independent with mine?”

Yan Liang gasps and squeals slightly. “Of course! Of course! It’ll be nice to have another actual girl to talk to about this stuff!” She side eyes Wen Chou. “She sometimes just uses spit to keep hers down.”

Wen Chou blinks. “Well, it’s a pain to have long hair!” She leans back in Qu Yi’s bed. “You have to do all this stuff to take care of it and that’s not even talking about split ends and all that nonsense. Too much brushing!” She frowns to herself. “You two can enjoy your hair talk though. More time for me to rest.”

Yan Liang turns back to Qu Yi, beaming. “So how much do you know about taking care of your hair?”

Qu Yi blinks, trying to think if there’s anything she’s seen or read about, “Um, shampoo and conditioner is good for it, right? And, um having dandruff is bad?”

Yan Liang stares at her blankly. “Well, there could be a lot worse places to start than fresh.” She grabs Qu Yi’s hand, excitedly leading her to the bathroom.

Qu Yi sighs as she’s led. She knows if she is going to be here a while, she needs to learn this stuff, but it doesn’t make it any less intimidating and it will still hurt her masculinity pride.

The two enter the bathroom as Yan Liang begins gushing about what hairstyles she can try.

Wen Chou peeks towards the open bathroom door. She notices the book Qu Yi was reading out on the pillow. She becomes curious as she peeks at it. “Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Volume One huh?” she mutters quietly to herself, before growing a grin. “Oh, Qu Yi is into THOSE kind of books!” She chuckles thinking to herself, “romance! I guess being shy they are usually into that.” She opens it up and begins reading out loud to herself. “Domains under heaven, after a long period of division tends to unite; after a long period of union tends to divide.” She closes the book quickly and places it back on Qu Yi’s pillow. “Can’t make heads or tails of that. Not what I was expecting from a romance. Didn’t think they’d talk about math.” Never the brightest in the room, she shrugs to herself. “But I guess if she enjoys it, I’m happy she can get so into it.”

About thirty minutes later, Qu Yi comes out of the bathroom sporting two low and long twintails down her back. “Um, thanks, Yan Liang.” She bows, “I-I think I might need a few more examples before I can remember how to tie it myself, though…” She twiddles her fingers together.

This narrative has been purloined without the author's approval. Report any appearances on Amazon.

Yan Liang smiles, her hair in her usual style as well. “Oh, it’s fine! Your hair is actually really nice to work with, and it’s longer than mine, so it’s fun to try stuff out with it.”

Wen Chou’s napping on Qu Yi’s bed where she’s waiting for the two.

Yan Liang places her hands on her hips looking at her. “She just woke up and she’s already napping? And in your bed?”

Qu Yi quickly grabs the book from her bed and puts it back in her backpack quickly, not wanting anyone to read it yet. “Um, Wen Chou?”

Wen Chou stretches a bit before opening her eyes. “I guess you guys are done with the hair? Anyway, I’m going to take a shower. I didn’t get one last night with all the unpacking we did,” she looks to Yan Liang, “and with both you and Qu Yi hogging it.” She smiles at them as she stands up. She heads to her wardrobe, pulls out a spare uniform, then heads to the bathroom and closes the door behind her.

Yan Liang shrugs to Qu Yi. “I guess we will need to get changed in the room.” She thinks to herself for a moment before stating, “Normally back when this was me and Wen Chou, this was easier, because one of us would change in the bathroom and the other would change in our room.” She holds up her hands preemptively in defense. “B-But we really like having you here! So, don’t worry.” She stops, “A-Also the more I think about it, it seems fuzzy what me and Chou did before you came.” She shakes her head trying to return to the topic. “I won’t change in the open, I’ll be changing under my covers. That way you have your privacy.” She heads to her own wardrobe pulling out another uniform before going under her covers to change. “Just let me know when you’re done or need my help!” she lets out before her covers begin to move.

Qu Yi looks down at herself, wearing her pink flannel pajamas. She lets out a long sigh, wanting to delay it. She knows she needs to get used to this new body sooner or later. She opens her wardrobe, avoiding looking at any regular clothes, and pulls out her familiar class uniform and sets it on her bed. She changes out of her pajamas and sets them in the dirty clothes bin next to her bed under the window. She takes a peek at her body. Qu Yi stands there in her unfamiliar undergarments, but she knows the longer she waits, the harder it will be to get used to. She can’t just avoid looking down for however long she will be in this dimension. She holds her breath as she begins to poke parts of her body, as if she’s doing something as dangerous as disarming a bomb. She notices sensitivities that didn’t exist before and further changes with her body, more than just the obvious ones that involve any different parts.

Her body doesn’t have any body hair. While she didn’t exactly have the hairiest body back as a boy, she does know girls do grow body hair, and they have to shave it, if they want to be smooth.

“Maybe Yu Ji just shaved me with magic?” she thinks to herself. Her face shifts. “Sounds a bit uncomfortable worded like that, but she might have just done something that just shaves everything from the neck down? Maybe- Why am I putting so much thought into this?” She does notice some parts of her are different sizes than before, most notably her hips. She remembers learning in middle school that girls are supposed to have waist growth during puberty, so this simply must be something from that. Wait, has her puberty started? She quickly shakes her head. She can’t focus on that with everything else, nor does she want to.

She heads to the nearby vanity table holding her uniform in one hand and placing it on the stool. She takes a long look at herself in the mirror. It is still going to take a lot of getting used to. She moves her hand up and touches her face, “Extremely smooth.” As a boy she had some light stubble, it had just began growing, she thought it was cool. Her hands begin feeling other parts of her face. It’s surreal to her. One doesn’t think about it, but humans remember the feeling of their own face, even if we rarely see it. It is something you instinctively remember where the creases and bends are. Having an entirely new face now, different sized nose, eyebrows, even her chin, everything feels so alien to her about her own face. She feels around her neck, she can feel where a bump was starting to grow but now has no sign of it.

She then takes notice of her hands in the reflection before she looks down at them. They are indeed thinner. At least they look daintier to her, but for some reason the size still feels normal when controlling them, as if they have always been this size. As the thought crosses her mind she looks down to her feet as well. They feel the exact same for her to control, but they indeed are smaller. While she was normally a size 8 in men’s shoes, she can tell any attempt to don her old footwear would cause her feet to be dwarfed in them. Next, she focuses on her height. She has mostly gotten used to it, but she did feel like she had just started middle school again. She’s at least a foot shorter than she used to be. It’s something she’s feeling a lot more self-conscious about. As a boy she was never the tallest, but she skipped a grade, so she was used to it. However, now she’s shorter than plenty of girls she’d be taller than as a boy, and they are treating her like a kid. She ends off by trying to look at something more positive about her size. She turns back to her bed. It at least made her bed feel bigger.

She hears Yan Liang shuffle under her covers, which breaks her out of her trance. “Right, I need to get changed.” She grabs her uniform, slowly taking each piece off of the hanger. “I need to get used to this,” she repeats in her mind. She stares at the mirror as she begins putting the clothes on. With each piece she doesn’t break her focus on the mirror. She’s determined to take everyone back with her. All these people are so nice to her, and even if they aren’t, they all deserve to live. Perhaps those that aren’t nice could be nice with more talking and she could become friends. The thought of being their friends empowers her. She watches her reflection in the mirror intently.

“This is who I am for a while.” Qu Yi whispers to herself, “I will make sure it doesn’t become a problem.” She goes through the movements both Yan Liang and Wen Chou helped her with to get each article of clothing on the previous days. She pulls her twintails out from her top and places them on the outside. She manages to get herself zipped up all by herself this time. She smiles proudly in the mirror before speaking to her reflection. “I look like a regular girl.” She sits on the stool allowing her to pull her white tights up her legs. With that she has everything on but her shoes. She stands up and continues staring at the mirror, her reflection following her movements.

“This uniform sure moves weird,” she mutters to herself, she begins to move her legs a bit, watching the skirt bounce and sway with each movement. “Must be those… ‘petty coats’ Wen Chou talked about.” She feels the sides of her skirt. It’s a much weirder sensation than anything she would wear as a boy. She then decides to jump. She sees her reflection do the same, her sailor collar and ribbon rising and falling with her skirt. She thinks, “So what other things do people do?” She does a quick twirl, watching her skirt twirl around her, a feeling completely foreign to her, as she feels the tickle of tulle on her thighs. She can’t help but smile awkwardly at her reflection. “That felt really weird.”

“IT WAS CUTE THOUGH!” Yan Liang shouts from her bed.

Qu Yi’s cheeks burn bright red. She slowly and fearfully turns to Yan Liang’s bed to see her head poking out from under her covers. She’s watching her with such interest, her eyes practically sparkling in amazement with a glowing aura. Qu Yi’s blush deepens until it looks as if someone has thrown a tomato at her face.

Yan Liang catches wind of her embarrassment and quickly jumps out of her bed fully clothed, approaching Qu Yi. “A-Ah! I’m sorry! I just heard you talking to yourself! You said you looked like a regular girl, and I thought it was a neat thing to hear you say!” She averts her eyes. “It was so long, I was wondering if you got stuck on something again, but then I peeked out, and saw you watch your reflection in the mirror!” She frowns and bows apologetically. “I-I’m sorry for peeking and embarrassing you!” She then raises her head up. “But you have nothing to be embarrassed about! You’re just really cute, a-and watching you look at your reflection was like watching a puppy see their reflection for the first time!”

Yan Liang fangirling about Qu Yi doesn’t make her blush stop, but she manages to speak up. “U-Um s-sorry for taking so long,” she lets out quietly. “I-I’m going to just sit on my bed and wait for Wen Chou…” She hastily makes her way to her bed and sits down at the edge, physically trying to make herself as small as possible.

Yan Liang watches Qu Yi sit on her bed looking down at her own hands. Just when Qu Yi thinks she is getting used to it, being caught acting in what she deems as silly by her friend makes her feel overly self-conscious.

Yan Liang approaches Qu Yi slowly. “C-Could I sit next to you?” Qu Yi nods slowly, while continuing to look down. Yan Liang sits next to Qu Yi as she looks at Qu Yi sympathetically. “I’m really sorry for embarrassing you. I really didn’t mean to.”

Qu Yi nods, still too embarrassed to look up.

Yan Liang thinks to herself for a moment, wondering if she should prod. “Um, is there any reason why you’re so self-conscious when you act cute? I’ve just noticed you tend to tense up whenever you do something that cute and get complimented about it.”

Qu Yi sits in silence for a few moments, “I-I guess, in an instance of… messing with my clothes, being cute is… kind of… feminine?”

Yan Liang raises an eyebrow. “Is there something wrong with being feminine?”

Qu Yi sighs, trying to figure out how to explain it without giving away the truth. “Well, when I was younger… I always wanted to be, cool, and well… being called feminine makes me feel like I’ve never been farther away from being cool.”

Yan Liang responds with a confused look. “Wait, how is being feminine the opposite of being cool?”

Qu Yi frowns, trying to explain it. “Well, er, being cool is normally, um, being tough, strong, and confident, right? Being, well, feminine, kind of makes me feel like I’m not very cool?”

Yan Liang folds her arms. “That’s not what I think cool is exactly. I think being cool means you’re confident in yourself, yes, but the important part is being yourself. Being ‘tough’ and ‘strong’ isn’t exclusive to muscles. It can mean not being afraid to be who you are.”

Qu Yi shakes her head, trying to figure out how to explain it so her roommate can understand the turmoil she feels. “Well, let’s say you saw a boy that was, ‘cute or feminine,’ wouldn’t you think they were weird?”

Yan Liang chuckles as she kicks her legs back and forth, “Well, I think boys are kind of scary anyway.” She looks up to the ceiling, thinking about it. “But, if I saw one who was ‘cute or feminine,’ I’d probably be less scared to talk to them.” She scratches her cheek, blushing slightly. “If that’s who they are, and they aren’t afraid of being who they are, I think that’s pretty cool.” Yan Liang smiles, looking towards Qu Yi. “Why? Would you want to be ‘masculine?”

Qu Yi frowns as her mind wanders. Doesn’t she? What does Qu Yi want to be? She wants to be seen as cool, right? Boys must be masculine to be cool? “I don’t think I have a choice,” she lets out, not realizing how it may sound different with her current body.

Yan Liang looks to Qu Yi confused and then begins chuckling, “Of course you do!” she laughs looking to her roommate. “You be whoever you want to be. People can be a feminine guy or a masculine girl, as long as you’re being yourself!” She looks to Qu Yi. “I don’t know how true it is, but Wen Chou said back at her old school, a lot of boys called her cute.” She averts her eyes, “And I’m pretty sure she’s more masculine than most boys.” She looks back to Qu Yi, sympathetically. “If you really want me to stop though, I can stop calling you cute when you act cute…”

Qu Yi thinks about it more before she averts her eyes. “I-I guess, you still can.”

“Good.” Her roommate laughs, “Because you, Qu Yi, are a not just an ‘ordinary girl,’ you are a very cute person!” She sits up, ready to continue her fangirling. “The way you were playing with your skirt was adorable! You didn’t do that the first two days!” She smiles as she daydreams, “I remember when I first wore this uniform, I played with it quite a bit also. I wasn’t used to anything like it” She then stops and thinks, “Wait… when did I first wear this uniform?” She struggles to think, “I-I remember liking it but… I can’t remember when I actually did.” She shrugs. “W-Well, point is I liked it a lot when I first wore it, and you were smiling when you watched it! So do you like it?”

Qu Yi nods shyly. “W-Well, it takes some getting used to, but I suppose it’s not too bad. It helps that I fit in with you two…” Qu Yi pauses. “It kinda makes me feel like a sheep.”

Yan Liang looks to Qu Yi and laughs, “Huh? What makes you say that?”

Qu Yi points to the skirt. “Well it’s like… fluffy, kinda like sheep wool?”

Yan Liang grins and covers her mouth. “Qu Yi, you are adorable!”

The bathroom door opens and Wen Chou exits, wearing her uniform leaving behind a flushing toilet. “Sorry for the wait. Had to take a big dump.” She smiles to the two. “Must’ve been boring out here without me, huh?”

Yan Liang smiles at Qu Yi. “Yeah, it was pretty boring.

Qu Yi looks at Yan Liang’s smile, then smiles herself. “Yeah. I guess it was.”

“I don’t know what you two would do for entertainment without me.” Wen Chou laughs folding her arms proudly. “Anyway, I’m ready for breakfast. I just emptied last night’s dinner and need to refuel.”

Yan Liang makes a face at Wen Chou. “You could have said it in a less gross way.” Wen Chou laughs at her reaction as the two continue back and forth as usual.

Qu Yi begins grabbing her stuff to leave, her phone and her keys. She notices Romance of the Three Kingdoms in her backpack. Is it safe for her to read it in public? She grabs it anyway. Worst comes to worst she can keep it in her skirt pocket with her phone and keys since it is pocket sized. Maybe she can find more time to read it.

Yan Liang looks back to Qu Yi. “You ready Qu Yi?”

Qu Yi nods and smiles. “Yeah. I think I am.”

As the group exits their dorm room, they see a bunch of students hanging around the halls of the dorm. “Huh?” Yan Liang checks her phone. “It’s 9:30. Plenty of classes should have started by now. What are they doing here?”

Wen Chou shrugs. “Maybe the school is closed again.” As the thought passes her, she smiles. “A day full of no work.” She opens the elevator as the three girls hop in.

Qu Yi checks her phone. She notices she has a red button over her text messaging app. She opens it, from the contact known as “Rival.” From her neighbor and self-declared rival, Yan Gang. “Qu Yi! The track is closed this morning! There are protestors on it!” Qu Yi raises an eyebrow, reading the message. As the group heads out, they notice a lot of students seem to be skipping class.

“There are plenty of students out here also.” Yan Liang mutters in concern.

Wen Chou’s grin grows as she begins rubbing her hands together. “Full day of freedom here I come.”

The group stops as they enter the cafeteria. They see students in yellow handmade outfits blocking the front line. “I’ll say it again! There’s no breakfast until our demands are met!”

Wen Chou’s grin fades. “I knew it was too good to be true.”

Yan Liang has a concerned look on her face. Qu Yi looks to the two and back to the line confused. “Wait, what’s happening?”

Wen Chou looks towards Qu Yi. “Those Yellow Scarf punks are causing issues again.”
