In the tower, there were only five ways for common to peerless warriors to get powerful, and that was through mastering skills, unique skills, techniques, bloodlines, and gifts.
Of course, mastering source energy and elements was also an option, but rarely would anyone go for them.
Instead, mastering the five great ways was the way to go for them.
The difference between skills and unique skills was simple.
Skills had a cooldown period, while unique skills didn’t.
And the difference between unique skills and techniques was even simpler.
Unique skills could only be upgraded by fulfilling special conditions, while techniques could only be upgraded through comprehension.
But of course, there was an exception, which was the shop.
All skills, unique skills, and techniques could be upgraded by paying days as the price and buying upgrading stones.
For that they did not had to go through test ground, unlike True Warriors, who to get anything for them, except for the affinity stones, had to go through the test ground.
Bloodlines could also be bought and upgraded through the shop directly, and their powers were very close to True Warrior's power, except that they only majored in one or a maximum of three elements, unlike true warriors, who could master any one of them.
While Gifts were even freakier, they had the power to make any warrior overpowered, especially once they hit the limit.
The best thing about all these was that in the shop, there were billions of types of skills, unique skills, techniques, and bloodlines.
One needed to just think any absurdity and the shop would make it exist, even if it had to go through wishing card to do that.
But that was only for true absurdity, cuz most of the overpowered things, such skills and all already existed.
And the second best thing about all these was that, once someone had upgraded any of the skills and all to one limit, then they could even break True Warriors' element powers or even overpower them.
For example, just like elements; skills and all could be upgraded from D- to S grade.
If a True warrior’s fire element power was D+, but a common warrior skill and all were of C grade, then the common warrior could break the True warrior's elemental power.
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
A Common Warrior!
But of course, breaking a true warrior’s elemental power was different than killing one.
Cuz the main thing that made True Warriors overpowered was their affinity and control over source power.
Their source power could automatically regenerate. Plus, they could master all thirteen elements, which gave them more flexibility.
Thus, all the True warrior had to do was run away or make the common warrior consume all of its source energy, then it would be like a sitting duck ready to get slaughtered.
But to remember one thing was that the Common Warriors were the weakest warriors in the tower, and above them were Elite Warriors, Rare Warriors, Extraordinary Warriors, Prodigious Warriors, Epic Warriors, Legendary Warriors, Mythic Warriors, and Peerless Warriors, whose source energy limit was at another level.
So all and all, both remaining false warrior and become true warriors had pros and cons.
But of course, the worst con for the true warriors was that their being killed meant one wish for a false warrior, for which they could ask anything.
This was the reason why most of the false warriors who had the capability of becoming true warriors deliberately chose to remain false warriors.
And the five warriors that had come to hunt Mark were one such warrior. Instead of becoming True Warriors, they had let a single 0.1 stat point remain in one of their stats, and then metamorphosed, becoming Peerless Warriors.
That gave them power infinitely close to other True Warriors.
Of course, the disadvantage was glaring too. They abandoned the passive 33% of source energy mastery, which would’ve allowed them to master all elemental energy much easily.
Plus, instead of 10% True Body Regeneration and True Immunity, they only got 9% of True Body Regeneration and True Immunity.
One percent may sound like a small number, but at a higher level, this one point was enough to decide one's fate.
But all was acceptable for them, as long as they could kill True Warriors and get wishes, cuz that could remove the glaring difference, and even make them stronger then the so-called real True Warriors.
…………………..
Surrounded by 138 dead warriors, three Maukra Race’s creatures, and three clones, Mark wasn’t panicked. Instead, he smiled.
After all, there were only 20 seconds remaining. After that, he would disappear.
Even though he had come to space, it doesn’t mean that the portal stabilizing time for him had changed.
No, the stabilizing portal time for anyone remains the same as the point of their appearance on a particular planet. If they had appeared on an established planet, whose portal stabilizing time was five minutes, then no matter which planet they went to after that, they could open the portal there and disappear exactly after five minutes.
Call it a loophole, but that was the rule so that everyone was given proper time to run, save, and protect themselves.
Yes, killing wasn’t the only motive of the tower, but surviving, too.
Here, everyone was given a chance, a chance to survive, live, and change one's destiny.
Here, no such thing as fate existed. Here, everyone could change their lives with their own hands.
Thus, rules existed both ways, like two sides of a coin.
“Where is your last friend? Don’t tell me the angry creature got him?” Asked Mark with the happiest and creepiest smile on his face.
And seeing everyone’s angry reaction, he knew he hit the mark.
As long as one of the living creatures died, who gives a fuck about a single day one would get from killing it.
He was happy to give that single day to that angry creature.
RRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA……
The three clones roared together, and hearing their roars, all the creatures roared too, as they all attacked.
