That’s when she realized something devastating: she couldn’t feel Shina anymore. Their connection was gone.

  And with that, she had nothing left. Fate had stripped everything from her—her parents, her home, her tigress, her future, her faith, her hope... All that remained was this unbearable void filled with pain, death, despair, and hopelessness.

Lumi became a symbol of hope, even though it seemed like she herself had stopped feeling anything. She didn’t smile. She didn’t cry. She was entirely focused on keeping others alive.
