Kasugano Yukito set foot in his family’s restaurant after a year. All he got in return was Nagoya’s freaked-out expression. When he asked what was wrong, he was handed a mirror. He got freaked out himself when he looked into it. What the hell was going on with him?!
Yukito rushed to the nearby public bathhouse. After cleaning himself up, he looked just like a prince. Both his parents were quite good-looking, so it wasn’t exactly surprising. But how—and why—was he covered in mud and grime? He hadn’t done anything that should have caused that.
The only expnation was a chakra outburst. He had grown up in this world, believing it was his everything for eight years, only to find out it was a fantasy world created by some other human? The emotional turmoil was no joke.
But… shouldn’t he have a cheat? Most transmigrators get some sort of cheat. Where was his?
He was already satisfied with his chakra. It was potent, pure, and he had an absurd amount of it—far more than anyone else his age. That alone seemed like a cheat. But having a system to expin everything would be a lot more… convenient.
He headed to the Ninja Academy. It was already afternoon, and csses were over. Most teachers were about to go home. Yukito spotted one teacher supervising a group of kids pying on the school grounds. He approached him.
“Sensei, I want to apply to the Ninja Academy, but I come from a civilian family with no shinobi background. Where can I apply?”
Noritoshi Suga was taken aback. He had been teaching here since the day he became a chunin, and this was the first time a civil-born kid had personally come to apply. While many kids idolized shinobi, they were also afraid of them. It was usually the parents who sought admission, drawn by the high income and prestige of the ninja life.
Noritoshi made the greatest decision of his life—he gave the kid a chance. Pcing a hand on Yukito’s shoulder, he channeled a bit of chakra into his body. He immediately sensed the immense chakra reserves within the boy.
Admission to the academy didn’t involve much formality. Yukito was taken to an empty cssroom, where a sensory-type teacher scanned his chakra. The teacher was astonished. Yukito’s admission was confirmed, and he was given a form to fill out with personal information. He was told he’d receive an admission letter in 3–4 days, the time needed for screening and final procedures. After all, they couldn’t risk admitting a spy from another vilge.
Yukito returned home, thinking about his growth path. He possessed an absurd amount of chakra, but he also sensed there was something unique about it. His chakra seemed to resonate with all five known elements.
In the world of Naruto, chakra is the result of a fusion between one's physical and spiritual energy. It is generated by every cell in the body and flows through chakra pathways. The human body has many pressure points, and for chakra to function properly, it must flow through them all. Shinobi manipute chakra through these points to perform jutsu. The type of jutsu depends on how chakra flows and which pressure points it activates. Hand signs merely help guide the chakra—nothing more. With enough control, a jutsu can be performed without them. Ninja are first taught to move chakra using hand signs. Each sign channels chakra in a specific way. Through repeated training, these movements become muscle memory, enabling the execution of complex jutsu. It’s a highly scientific system, to say the least. Not everyone have the otsusuki level chakra control. Hashirama Senju also shown using wood release without hand signs, he was another level of freak. He wasn’t considered God of Shinobi without reasons!
In the Naruto world, the pnet itself has chakra—called nature energy. Unlike a shinobi’s personal chakra, nature energy exists in all things. When a shinobi uses ninjutsu, they first mold their chakra internally. Then, they release this transformed chakra into nature, where it interacts with nature energy to produce the five elemental transformations: fire, water, wind, lightning, and earth. Yin and Yang releases are also forms of chakra manipution, but they operate on a different principle, developed by people who could think outside the box.
Shinobi weren’t using chakra to its full potential due to a ck of scientific knowledge. They don’t know concepts like atoms, molecules, neutrons, protons, electrons, or antimatter. Chakra is a reflection of the mind; it manifests in only five elements because the wielder believes those are the fundamental elements of creation. Yin and Yang release comes from a different perspective on chakra usage.
Yukito carried the soul of a 21st-century Earth human. His mind and soul were entirely different from the people of this world. Earth has severe restrictions on spiritual energy, which is why there are no superhumans. But those restrictions helped Earthlings evolve a higher soul quality. Yukito knew he was immune to genjutsu and soul-based techniques. His advanced soul quality rendered all such attacks ineffective.
Chakra is the fusion of body and soul. His vast reserves and unmatched potency stemmed from this very fact.
The timeline was set after the Second Shinobi World War. The war had ended about four years prior. The vilge had already been rebuilt and was now focused on nurturing new talent.
Though Yukito knew the general power-scaling of this world—and even many high-level jutsu—he cked the foundational knowledge taught at the academy. He wanted to revisit the basics before deciding his growth path.
Yukito received his academy summons soon after. His parents were happy, though slightly concerned about the costs. Yukito pnned to apply for a schorship once he proved himself. He was confident he could outshine even the prodigy—Minato Namikaze. As for the plot? He didn’t care.
I’ll keep the parts of the plot I like. I’ll get rid of the ones I don’t. I’ll build my own storyline!
The poll on Chapter 1 was against adding a system. I agree—I don’t feel comfortable inserting a system into the Naruto universe.
I was basically rambling in the nearest manga café just to sort out the timeline. The Naruto pre-series timeline is such a mess! I tried to fix that and create a timeline that actually makes sense. I’ll update it in the glossary, so don’t forget to check it out!
