The Maw struggled to stand up.
Seeing the opportunity, I reversed my grip on my broken sword and thrust it into its neck before straddling the Maw.
“Too shallow…”
I let go of the sword before I started to push it deeper with both hands.
Finding a spot, I gripped the Maw by the head and pulled out the sword before repeatedly thrusting it into its neck.
Stolen story; please report.
Striking it again and again with all my weight, keeping my wind-ups slow.
“My sword is truly dead.”
I sighed softly.
Deciding to drop my sword, I slid my free hand into the wound in the neck and began to rip it open, using my hand, restraining its head to support.
“Stubborn…”
I groaned slightly before I successfully ripped off the head, blood gushing out.
“Pfft…”
Dropping its head on the snow, I slowly regained my breath before stretching my shoulder.
“Alright…”
I stood up before taking out an empty sack from my pack and putting the Maw I split open inside.
“I should also…”
I gently grabbed the head of the Maw I decapitated and started punching it, making sure to dent it as much as I could.
“Making sure you have passed,” I said before puffing.
Putting the second Maw corpse inside the sack, I gently closed it before standing up and heading back to the guild.
I hope the Maws I killed were… the right ones.
Just a small thought before I walked off.
