You’ve Fallen into My Trap

Chapter Ten: You've Fallen into My Trap

Tyren let the whispers of the Void fade away, giving them no attention.

The world around him twisted and screamed, cracking under the weight of a csh between titans.

Eiron, despite his humility, was the strongest human Tyren had ever seen.

Not counting the Echo King, of course—but even the heads of the great cns couldn't compare.

Eiron outcssed them all by a full level.

Yet still, he was fighting a losing battle... and existence itself twisted from its intensity.

"Damn it, no time to think... run, run, faster!"

He was running with the knights at that moment, waiting for the right distance to begin the second phase of the pn.

"Follow me. There’s a path we can use to escape quickly."

  They exchanged gnces, then replied:

  "Yes, sir."

  ---

Tyren was running toward the Sea of the Lost, sending his Intent into the Void, desiring to merge with it.

The sea, from a distance, began to move, twisting, trying to reach him—until the dimension itself curved, shortening the distance.

Bones aligned themselves, forming a smooth path.

  Suddenly, Tyren stopped.

He threw a dagger at the throat of one of the knights—the same one he had criticized earlier.

Then struck another behind him, stabbing his face with a second bde.

To his right, a knight was swinging his sword, almost hitting Tyren—but a swift kick to the leg knocked him off bance.

The Void behind him shifted, raising a spike of bone straight up.

Tyren spun quickly, delivering a punch to the chest of the knight, knocking him down.

Then bck tendrils shoved the soldier toward the bone bde.

Tyren rolled forward, nding in front of a group of knights behind him.

He ducked his head to dodge an incoming arrow.

Blood was on his face, and a devilish smile spread wider and wider.

  "Fools."

  "You traitor!"

  Tyren sneered:

"You’re already dead... and the dead shouldn’t speak—especially here, in the Void."

His grin widened into something nearly insane.

  He sighed:

  "Now... die, you stupid bastard."

One of the knights tried to release a surge of spiritual energy—but a strange sensation overtook his core.

  The Void repced it.

Then he felt something break inside... like a fragment of his soul had shattered.

  ---

Tyren opened the Trait Log, a wicked smile spreading across his face.

Lines of description appeared before him:

  [Acquired Trait: Void Farmer]

  Description:

Not all who hear the Call of the Void return unchanged.

He who pnts a Seed of Silence in a soul will reap only the Void.

“Void Farmer” is not a title—but an act.

With every whisper, a fracture is sown...

And with every chant, colpse blossoms.

Those who hear the Hymn begin to decay from within—no voice, no return, only nothingness.

  [Activation Hymn:]

  "Die, you stupid bastard."

  ---

  The knights’ cores shattered.

Their souls resisted the Void—while Tyren smiled in delight.

"I see you're optimistic... even in this state. Very admirable, gentlemen."

Then he released his Intent into the Void within their souls.

He didn’t aim for a specific effect—just chaotic detonation and wide spread...

It was a little difficult, but easier than he had expected.

  "Bingo."

And in that moment, their souls exploded.

  The sound echoed repeatedly:

  > [The knight… lost in the Void of your soul]

[The knight… lost in the Void of your soul]

[The knight… lost in the Void of your soul]

[The knight… lost in the Void of your soul]

[The knight… lost in the Void of your soul]

[The knight… lost in the Void of your soul]

[The knight… lost in the Void of your soul]

............................[The knight… lost in the Void of your soul]

He felt their souls enter the Void within his own...

Where their silent screams would st forever.

  He turned around.

  His smile vanished.

It was repced by a silent pain, a dark joy, and a sorrow caught in his throat.

"Whatever this feeling is... I can’t describe it."

Then he turned and continued running.
