  "Gracias a Dios! Gracias a Dios!" King Vaca kissed his wife palm several times as he mumbled again and again. He kneeled beside the luxurious bed of royalty.

  Gone has his dignity as a King, for a moment, King Vaca was just an ordinary man waiting anxiously for his wife recovers.

  "....Cari?o? ...What, happen? cough*..." The Queen tried to find out on what happened to her as she saw her husband sobbing mess beside her bed.

  "Its okay, nothing happen, nothing happen, the most important thing is that you're here! With me!" King Vaca gently reassured his wife, his smile bursting out as huge relief washed over his body.

  After quite some time, King Vaca saw his wife was still too weak as she closed her eyes once more, in panic he cast his gaze towards another side of the bedroom.

  "Doctor! My wife!" Called King Vaca.

  Dr.Smith immediately checked on her pulse as he listened on her breath and heartbeat using a stethoscope a moment ter he smiled and said,

  "...Don't worry your majesty, her majesty the Queen is only fallen asleep, it seems the cure is effective."

  He cast a gnce towards the IV-drips which hanged beside the bed, inside it there was greyish liquid being injected into the Queen vein.

  King Vaca stood up as he let out a sigh of relief, he was deranged when he heard his wife had fallen into coma 3 days ago!

  On that day, he was feeling complicated when he accompanied his daughter. Fransisca and Kimimaro seems had a pleasant time together at royal garden.

  seeing his daughter ughing merily, curse upon curse flew inside his mind toward the hateful young marine!

  As, a maid suddenly informed him that the Queen condition worsened! Casting aside his murderous attempt toward Kimimaro, he immediately went to check upon her only to see his wife had fallen into a comma!

  and much to his distress, when he called Smith from royal hospital, they said the dean was busy and didn't have a time to attend toward the Queen.

  left with no choice, he called another doctor. as, the doctor couldn't do anything and only says that the Queen time had come, and he need to prepare for the worst as the doctor tried to stabilize his wife condition once again despite in a comma.

  Day by day he stayed beside his beloved wife, and each passIng day was felt longer than the st seeing how his wife condition deteroriate further!

  Just when he lost all hope after 3 days. this morning the unkempt Dr.Smith that he wished to meet had come. the doctor appearance were too unsightly to look at, he brought a metal box with him with exhausted face. nonetheless, King Vaca let the doctor come inside.

  And when the doctor said that he had found a cure for his wife, King Vaca didn't think too much. For some reason, he just look at Smith's forehead for a while before he let the doctor to began his wife treatment.

  For all day till evening, King Vaca kneeled beside the Queens bed, hoping for the best. And look and behold, his wife had actually regained her senses and awaken!

  Words couldn't describe how King Vaca felt at the time, he stood up and hugged Dr.Smith lean body tightly!

  "Muchas gracias doctor, muchas gracias!" King Vaca seems choked on his words.

  Smith couldn't extricate himself from King Vaca, for a moment he just went along and let out a ugh albeit awkwardly.

  After he received the antidote from Kimimaro st week, Smith didn't even think to return home, he drowned himself on research regarding the grey antidote substance and tried to find out its ingredients first, thankfully, the grey antidote doesn't contain rare or hard to find materials.

  next, he began to conduct a live experiment, first he chose a death row inmate as test subject. for a week Smith tried to perfect his mass produced grey antidote.

  Kimimaro's antidote work wonders, its just that his newly compounded antidote need more testing until he found out the right ratio on its materials.

  After he perfected the batch of grey antidote, he immediately brought the rest of Kimimaro's antidote to the royal castle after he learnt that the Queen condition was detroriating beyond hope!

  Thankfully the original grey antidote work as intended, when it entered the Queen system, it disintegrate Amber lead posion quickly from her organs relieving her organs to work normaly.

  next, it bound the poison remnants on her blood stream rendering it useless to attach itself back to the Queen's organ.

  Seeing the white patch mark on Queen lower face had faded slowly but surely, Smith smiled as he thought about his own family, with this antidote, he has no more worries in the future and Flevanese would welcome their new age of prosperity without a threat from Amber Lead!

  back to the scene, King Vaca finally released Smith from his hug, he look straight at Smith eyes, seemingly looking for something.

  Then he spoke generously, "You have made great contribution doctor, say it, and i will grant whatever you desire!"

  Smith was taken aback by King Vaca decration, however, he knew that he wasn't the one who truly deserved such recognition, as, he also remember on Kimimaro's words the st time he saw him.

  Gritting his teeth, Smith locked his eyes toward King Vaca and said, "Your highness, i don't deserve such praise, but, if you will, i want to tell you something."

  King Vaca squinted his eyes, he had smile on his face when he saw Smith in front of him, as if he had already knew about what Smith wanted to convey, he agreed and lead the doctor to his study.

  Before he left, King Vaca kissed his wife forehead lovingly and reminded the maids to take perfect care on his wife.

  Kimimaro had no business recently, other than keeping the CP agents at bay for a moments together with Enel, he spent his time by taking a walk on Flevance beautiful ndscape.

  sometimes he had spars against his crew and Enel, sometimes he accompanied Tiana went shoping and sometimes he patrol the sea and had dealt with quite a lot of Pirates group from North Blue. Prompting Flevance merchants to have favorable impression on him and his crew of marines.

  His life was rexing, as for Smith? he doesn't care too much, he knew that Smith was brilliant doctor despite his unkempt appearance.

  He also knew that Smith would have a breakthrough within days regarding the grey antidote as he had made it as simple as possible.

  currently, the young Vice Admiral was calmly sitting inside King Vaca study once again, sipping on his warm milk. sitting opposite him was the King himself, despite the ter hagard appearance, King Vaca looks much more at ease as simple smile adorned his face.

  "I heard Marine HQ had appointed new commander for 50th branch?" King Vaca opened the conversation casually.

  Kimimaro nodded as he added some infomation, "Captain Draw is someone who could be trusted your majesty, he was a rather principled man and has quite style."

  King Vaca ughed, "Hahaha, if you say so. I look forward meeting with him."

  "You may rest assured your majesty, maybe you'll get Reverie invitation at the end of the year."

  King Vaca squinted his eyes, "Reverie huh? should i accept it? What do you say?"

  Kimimaro tilted his head as he felt a quite different aura from King Vaca today, for some reason King Vaca seem hiding something from him.

  "of course its up to you sir." Kimimaro replied as he cast aside his feeling.

  Soon the study fell silents, Kimimaro calmly sips his milk under King Vaca gaze, after quite a while as Kimimaro felt uncomfortable due to the King's penetrating gaze, he heard King Vaca voice once again.
