  [The Isekai Online Basics]

  [Important Features]

  [Written by: LowellWrites]

Hello again! Welcome to the last part of the basic guide to . In this guide, I will explain the other features included in the game. While they are not mandatory depending on your situation, learning about them a bit more in-depth is recommended.

  [Guardian Players]

As you all know, is rated T. However, there is an option for minors to play this game, albeit with a few caveats, thanks to COSPA. That's where the [Guardian Player] feature comes in.

I don't know much about it, but for a player below 12 years old to play [Isekai], one must have a legal guardian or parent to come play with them. They will be serving as their [Guardian Players] for the duration of their session. According to the official site, they must be in the vicinity of a [Guardian Player] at all times. Any attempts to separate from them would mean penalties to the Guardian. Also, a [Guardian Player] must log in alongside the minor in question any time they try to play. Without them, the minor's account will be temporarily locked out. It's rough, but it's for their safety. Also, the [Guardian Player] has the right to adjust the censorship in the game, such as gore, themes, and swearing.

So if you encounter a young kid and an adult together in the game, chances are they are the [Guardian Players], and the minors enjoying it. So please don't be a jerk or a troll when encountering them.

  [World Map]

As of right now, we can only explore the area around the town of , the very first town you will land in after character creation. It's not very open, but there are many dungeons and areas you can explore as of this writing. If possible, I will write some future guides if a new update or expansion is released afterward.

  [Death Penalty]

So I know what you guys are probably wondering: What happens if you die in ? And no, you don't die in real life if you do.

Instead, the game will forcefully log you out and lock your account for a few hours. When you do log back in, you will be hit with a severe debuff on several stats and speed for a few hours. It's a bit excessive, I know. But this is how the game dissuades you from throwing yourself back into a tough battle for revenge. If you die too many times, both the login ban and debuff will be longer and severe, and you will lose all of your items, including the ones you earned from drops.

So if anyone said "penalized" instead of the D-word, now you know why. [Player-Killing] and [PVP] are another story, though. So watch out for its future guide.

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

  [Cash Shop]

Of course, what is an MMORPG without all of those monetization options? :D

But on a serious note, [Isekai] is no exception with this feature with its [Adament Market], aka the game's cash shop. You can purchase any amount of premium currency called [Adament] to purchase special items that can boost your [MEXP] rate, double the item drop rate, and exclusive costumes. Other than the boost consumables, most of them are entirely optional and are not exactly pay-to-win. While there are a few issues regarding this pay model, it's not that bad of a monetization feature.

Still, if you're committed to the path of the Free-to-Play, then go ahead! There are no winners or losers in , and you are free to play the game however you want.

  [Training Hall]

This is more of a beginner tip than a feature, but the is your recommended first destination after character creation. While it is not much, the training hall is a great place to learn how to fight inside . While it has a brief tutorial on each combat [Mastery], I recommend practicing them until you get the hang of it. But remember that you can only level them up to 5. I know it's tempting to go out once you max the training limit, However, the game doesn't have an auto-aiming function, and it encourages physical activity and memorization to attack and use skills and spells. So practice makes perfect, and don't skimp out on it even if you max out your level!

  [Hidden Quests]

In , there is no known Main Story or Scenario for now. However, there are several [Hidden Quests] scattered across the game world, thanks to [Gaia Live]. Depending on your interactions with the world or NPCs, you may encounter a [Hidden Quest], and there's a chance they will earn you some great rewards and some consequences for the world itself. So if you fancy a challenge or want to explore more of the worldbuilding, I recommend finding some [Hidden Quests] in your journey.

I will write a more in-depth look at it in a future [Quest] guide soon.

  [Hidden and Future Features]

I don't know much about this part since they are rumors, but please take this with a grain of salt. There's a chance there are some features we haven't discovered, and while they will be unlocked through a future expansion in the next few months, there are [Hidden Quests] that may give you a taste of them.

I haven't found most of them, but I recommend trying to search around the forums and the game itself and see what you can find there. If you do, let me know in the comments below.

And with that, you are now ready to explore the world of ! But it's not the end of my guides just yet. If you want to see a guide for a specific feature or topic, let me know. I've spent a lot of hours researching through official forums and Wiki along with playing the game, so the estimated release schedule for them should be weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the topic in question. While I am playing [Isekai] for hands-on experience, I can do so much with my limited [Mastery] set. I can't say which [Race] or [Masteries] I use, but I have to rely on other statements, official guides, and wikis to help new players learn more about the game. So, keep that in mind for my future guides.

Enjoy your time and see you in the world of , adventurers.
