Chi Sen, Long Wu and Bruce went to the nearest pce where the forces from Hinon Federation had been waiting.
Upon arriving there, they discovered that the Abominations had attacked there too.
Fortunately, they managed to hold off and even pinned down three of the Abominations while the rest changed direction.
They regrouped and formed a new unit under the management of both Bruce and Chi Sen.
While the group leader was trying to restructure the group anew, Chi Sen and Bruce now had to discuss the negotiation details.
“As Your Majesty knows, we are here to demonstrate that we are not to be bullied. So Your Majesty needs to answer that first. Second, during our cooperation some of the people under Your Majesty are causing such a mess. I agree to help but the rest should be on you.” Bruce stated the condition clearly.
“I am aware. But this is not my intention as the ruler of the Heavensend Kingdom. The people who are here with you are the people who have pced their loyalty on me.
So, please assist the kingdom through its challenges. Only then will we be satisfied to be under the Federation.” Chi Sen sternly said as he did not want to lose out.
“Good. Looks like you understand that the problem lies with the people under you. All you have to do is to make them pay dearly for what they caused. A simple but effective method to show your authority.”
Bruce then took a puff from his cigar and blew out a smoke ring. He did this as a form of contemption, it was easier to think about the greater scheme of things if he smoked.
Chi Sen did not mind the smoke that hovered and flew around him. All he cared about was the continued existence of his kingdom.
He did not want to be a sinner who became the cause of the fall of the kingdom. Furthermore, he knew that militarily the Hinon Federation was more capable and ready than the soldiers of the kingdom.
‘Perhaps this is partially my fault. Since it was the case, I have to take matters into my own hands.’ Chi Sen pondered.
Long Wu was in the middle, he became the bridge that facilitated the communication between the two. He felt uncomfortable due to the smoke but he got used to it by circuting the Undead Element inside his body.
After that Long Wu went around the group to take care of the people who got contaminated with the Undead Element.

Because of what happened in the capital city, Chi Sen had decided to be put under the Federation. The people also realized that there was something going on but they were torn into two factions.
Those who supported the decision of the king and those who naturally opposed it.
The Hinon Federation Forces that were scattered in the direction of the capital city encountered numerous attempts of protest by several people in various cities.
Of course, Bruce was informed of the overall situation by the deputy commander, who had received the report from the many squad leaders.
“All units are to suppress the crowd as much as possible. The opposing faction probably incites them. But don’t even think of killing them!” Bruce knew that the nature of the event now had changed.
It was no longer a war between two powers but a process of establishing power and presence. Since the king had already spoken, at least his words had some weight. He knew that he had to take care of the people in this pce, too.
After that, Bruce had to hear several other reports through the walkie-talkie. Bruce even thought that the newest product from the Hinon Science Institute showed great potential in communication. With this device, some distance was able to be reached instantly.
Of course, he knew that there was a limitation to that but at least it changed how the information was reyed to the battlefield.
“Alright, if there is nothing else I will be handling some matters on my side.” Bruce wanted to end the communication but the deputy commander was worried.
“But you are in a dangerous situation. It’d be better for you to return.”
“Listen, I have received the word from the king of the Heavensend Kingdom himself that he will be under us. The prerequisite is that we have to preserve the kingdom and him as the ruler. That is why we need to stabilize the situation here before we can even return.”
“Understood. But please present the proof of that so that it becomes binding to both of us.”
Bruce then stored the walkie-talkie that his hand gripped into the coat pocket that was used to store some small things.

On the other end in the temporary established headquarters of the Hinon Federation Forces.
Charlene and several scientists were convening a meeting. This meeting was actually reted to the usage of the atomic bomb that had been used and detonated.
As the person to directly witness its might, Charlene and another scientist had to give their report about it.
“For a sixty kilogram of the matter, it can raze at least a three-kilometer radius from the center of the explosion. It is a bit bright and the noise is so loud that I can hear it in the aircraft.” Charlene stated.
“Despite the fact the detonation method is a bit different, the result shows that the effect is simir. Furthermore, we have received reports from the frontline saying that the city that we targeted is in a bit of panic as a four-kilometer radius suddenly razed to the ground and there are even casualties.” One of the scientists said.
They took the risk of coming close to the battlefield because they wanted to see for themselves what a world-destroying weapon was capable of.
And the result was that they were satisfied. It was because the first product was actually a sample and could be developed better as a weapon.
It could be said that the atomic bombs were the prototype of the world-destroying weapon.
“After all of this, we need to see for ourselves what happened to the victim. Of course, I am not saying that we are going to do it right away but we need to see the affected target closer.” Charlene spoke.
“That is what I agree with, Miss Charlene. If we want to use this as a weapon, we need to understand how the target of this weapon fares.”
That was the second point the scientists here wanted to know.
The severity of the damage the weapon caused was the most important factor when you had the weapon. Understanding it gave the scientists insight into how terrible this weapon could be.
At this meeting, they received several reports about the damage caused by the atomic bombs and they reviewed it thoroughly. Then they figured that the damage was actually as destructive as it could possibly be.
If they increased the load of the reacting matter, they could increase the bst radius and range, increasing its destructive power.
Of course this was just the thought of the scientists but Charlene considered it valid. She wanted this weapon to be effective against the enemy in the Star Battle. That was the most suitable time for this weapon to be unleashed.
The entire ‘Operation Groundrazer’ was just an experimental tryout of the atomic bombs and they were satisfied with it.
After all was said and done, the scientists group dispersed, going to attend their own matter. Charlene was the same.
She left the tent which was used as the meeting pce and looked at the distant sea. The violet color filled the sky but the sea color remained at its green color.
Then she looked at the pool of water that was the result of the bucket filled with water gathering freshwater. She could see her own reflection.
Her face was a bit pale. Perhaps it was because of the serious discussion she had with the scientists. She took a breath and tried to adjust her facial expression. Her furrowed brow then rexed slightly. She then smiled a little and saw her reflection mirrored her facial expression.
She sighed in relief when she saw that her expression was improving better with a slight adjustment.
Then she looked for a pce where she could hide from the piercing sunlight and she found it. It was a shadow of the coconut tree so she went to the trunk and sat on it.
From her white coat pocket, she grabbed a little book. The book actually had the picture of some characters on its cover page.
‘If I remember it correctly, this is the popur manga that Tatsumi recommended to me. Let me see…this is the first page of the book, right?’ Charlene thought as she flipped to the first page of the book at least what she thought of the first page.
But she found out from the context that it was actually the st page of the book. She then realized that she had read the book in reverse, an unusual thing.
‘Oh, right. I remember that the way the people of the Heavensend Kingdom read and write is slightly different. I should assume that is true.’ Charlene then found the first page of the book.
It only had a simple introduction of the author. The next page contained the title of the chapter along with their page as a reference.
To Charlene, it was a good reference when she wanted to find a specific chapter to read. She also used this in her document and report so she was familiar with it.
Then she flipped to the next page and the first chapter title was given along with a picture of the pnet. By tracing the first picture and the smaller picture on the left corner of the first picture, Charlene could see the flow of events and connect them.
She could read the book like any other person from the Heavensend Kingdom.
Then she was introduced to the main character of the story. He looked ordinary and he lived in an ordinary household. He was average in everything except that he was a bit lucky than his peers.
He was actually an uneducated person meaning that he did not receive any additional knowledge from a teacher.
Charlene frowned slightly when seeing this. She did not expect that the ordinary people of the Heavensend Kingdom could not receive proper education. She knew that the author had experienced something simir but to project it into the story he had drawn was perhaps the most daring he could do.
The way the background scenery was drawn compared to the line where the facial expression of the main character was shown showed a clear difference that was both pleasing and entertaining.
Then Charlene saw that the main character looked at the nobility children who went to the educational institution in the kingdom and could not help but feel envious of them.
The main character was someone who could not even receive such things so all he could do was work diligently. His work was actually the sweeper of the front of the education institution so he could see a lot of nobility children went into it.
Then the main character went home after completing the daily routine he had for the day. Of course, the scene was brief but Charlene could understand it through the drawn picture.
His family was also ordinary. There was nothing noticeable about his family. His father was one of the city guards while his mother was sewing for the small additional income that came with it.
This was shown through the speech and interaction of the main character with his two parents. Charlene could see that this was the reflection of the reality, she also could see that the ordinary people had a tough life.
But despite that, the main character was strangely optimistic about the future. And that concluded the first chapter which had twenty pages. Charlene blinked her eyes, absorbing the knowledge she had gathered regarding the plot of the story, as well as the reality from which it mirrored.
“This should be enough for now.” Charlene slipped the small paper which functioned as a bookmark on the st page she had read and closed the book.
She took a deep breath while processing all the known facts about the book.
Then she stood up and cleaned the dirt from her clothes. Only after that she decided to return to the temporary residence.
But just as she took the first step, she heard a commotion in the distance. Several personnel ran around the base.
Charlene furrowed her brows as she felt that something happened that caused all of this. She then walked to the nearest people who were in the logistics to hear about the situation.
“What happened here?” Charlene asked a crew-cut-haired young man.
“Oh, it is you. Well, the situation at the frontline is changing fast. There are some reports about the appearance of the being with scales and emanating bck fog from its body. The commander has named them the Abominations and ordered all the frontline units to hold their ground for now.”
Charlene nodded but inwardly, she was worried about Bruce. He had gone to do the negotiation but apparently something happened at the frontline.
“Thanks. Please help as much as you can.” Charlene could only say that and returned to the temporary residence.
While she walked, she heard the noise caused by the armored vehicles being deployed to the frontline as reinforcement. She could see that the heaviness of the vehicles was because of the supply they had stored in their compartment.
She knew that the battle at the Heavensend Continent had reached a climax. She knew because this moment would be the one to decide the future of the two powers.
To encourage the personnel, they were told that this war was due to the action the Heavensend Kingdom had done in the Comberth Continent. This also fueled the spirit of the personnel.
But now they were a bit shaken by the appearance of a being that was hard to kill. It was an unconventional method deployed by some people from the Heavensend Kingdom.
Charlene was in her temporary residence, closing her eyes, focusing all her thoughts on the current situation she had heard from the passing personnel and pictured the scene of struggle and difficulties.
All she could do was safeguard the people she wanted to protect and nothing more. She could only hope that the situation would turn for the better.

The frontline was in a slightly chaotic situation. It was because the appearance of the Abominations which lived off of the Undead Element.
At first, the people from the Hinon Federation Forces struggled to contain the Abominations by pouring rain of bullets on them. It managed to create the effect of suppressing them.
But that was just a temporary solution. After they ran out of their current bullets in the weapon’s chamber, the Abominations moved again.
“Brothers, hold them off!” then suddenly, some people suddenly appear at the current frontline and assisted the Hinon Federation Forces to eliminate the Abomination.
“What are they saying?” the squad leader asked but no one else knew.
“Well, since they are helping us they are our allies. Cover fire!” the squad leader realized that the newly arrived people could even suppress the Abominations.
With their help, the threat was contained.
“Friend?” suddenly a female voice could be heard when the squad leader fired off his assault rifle to cover fire. He turned around to see a female figure in a robe behind him. Although her speech was understandable to him but it was like a heavy accent was mixed there.
“Yes, friend.” He nodded and then decided to listen to her. It was because she was probably with the group who helped them.
This situation was occurring on all fronts. Each time this group of people appeared, they would inform the squad leader of the units that they were friendly.
This could be said to be the manifestation of the cooperation between Bruce and Long Wu.
They informed each of their forces to assist each other.
“I can’t believe it. You are the one leading the Transcendents in the Heavensend Kingdom.” Bruce murmured while putting his hand on his chin.
It was a surprise for him to find that there was another organization inside the Heavensend Kingdom that was filled with Transcendents.
“There is a long story to that. But for now, let us work together. Of course, with the permission from the king.” Long Wu said with a slightly mencholic tone.
Chi Sen who was hearing that could not help but sigh with relief. What he was worried about was the case in which the Undead Element failed to be contained and eliminated.
If that were to happen, then he would have been guilty both as a person and a king. It would have been devastating to the Heavensend Kingdom’s situation as a whole.
“Permission granted. Please punish those who are responsible.” Chi Sen said before he closed his eyes in resignation.
Long Wu heard what he said and conveyed it to Bruce. Bruce had been searching for the people involved in the spreading of the Malicium. They used Malicium as a source of the Undead Element, spreading it to the surrounding area.
Of course, this intel was gathered by Long Wu’s subordinates and Bruce knew that the likelihood of the information being true was high.
That was why he wanted to pinned down the location of the people responsible for this. They did not go far due to the frontline nearing the capital city and they also spread the Undead Element to a few cities so they could only gather at one pce!
That pce was also what Long Wu pointed out as the main gathering pce for those people!
