Calamity. A simple word that define what my creation was, A mere and unwished calamity. The only thing I could remember... Was the sensation of falling endlessly on a world full of impurities and lies, totally different from the pure and ethereal world I used to live in, at least... I enjoyed my 5 second stay in that world.
What is my purpose here? Just to be discarded and thrown away like trash by my creator? I thought, while peacefully descending into the human realm. I saw the beautiful and painful sunlight for the first time, the soft sensation of touching grass, and the confused and curious voices of those people that had the privilege to witness my great and triumphant arrival.
Some looked afraid, others were praying and thanking their god for the good luck they just had. Suddenly, a woman wearing a traditional poncho and a kid that seemed to be her cousin bravely approached my body. I looked at them with slight curiosity, are these humans? What makes someone human? I thought. I looked to myself, and then looked to the two humans, we were similar in shape, but I was from a completely different origin than them, so am I a human?
"He have pink hair, a pink hair!!!!" *The kid said with enthusiasm, why is he so impressed by my hair? Its was a natural thing, so why?*
"That was quite the fall. Are you okay, young man?" *The woman said with a concerned voice, i got a bit annoyed since I literally got banned from my birth place, HOW THE HELL WOULD I BE OKAY?*
"...I'm good." *I said with a emotionless tone, I didn't want to get attached to them. I just brushed off some dust of my clothes*
"Do you have a home? What we're you doing?" *The woman asks*
"I have a home, or... I used to have. And what I were doing it's none of your business." *In that moment I was about to fly away, but instead of flying, I jumped and immediately fell again on the soft grass* "my powers must be limited... Huh." *I thought to myself*
*The woman looks at me with a confused face, but she decides to help me anyway*
"Follow me, I'll lead you to a safe place." *The woman said, but nevertheless I decided to follow her and the kid to that 'safe place'.*
*As we arrived, I could sense the peaceful and modest feeling from that house, the simple architecture mainly based on wood and the smell of something I couldn't quite define*
"Have a seat." *She says*
*I sit on a wooden chair, feeling the hard and brute material from it. I guess that sitting on grass was better than sitting on that.*
"Want coffee?" *She asked*

"...sure." *I said without confidence, I didn't even knew what this 'coffee' was. After a while she arrived with a cup of the so said 'coffee'. I carefully grabbed the hot cup and took a sip of the strange and black liquid, surprisingly it was very good*
"... it's good" *I said*
"The beans came directly from Varaquia."
"Varaquia?"
"You don't know Varaquia? It's one of the most influential empires. They produce a lot of special beans that give unique tastes to coffee, consider it like a exotic and rare type. But of course, it's really expensive"
"How expensive?"
"About 500 Regu."
*Regu is a fictional coin, 1 Regu=5 dollars*
"...oh." *I said with a robotic-like tone, what the hell was Regu?*
"By the way, what's your name? I can't just call you 'pink-haired' boy" *she said with a playful tone*
"Caeluma."
"I guess I'll just call you Luma for short, name's Violet Ragna."
"And... What about the kid?"
"Vyle Ragna, he's my little brother."
"Brother? I thought he was your cousin."
"No, he isn't. He's a good boy, and a prodigy at the Yang art."
"What's a *Yang art*?" *I questioned*
"Magic. Everyone has an specific Yang art, people just call that types of Yang arts as Yin ramifications. Basically... People have a limited amount of vital energy called Mana, and with this Mana they can cast their Yang arts, some Yang arts are more aggressive than others."
"... interesting... Could you teach me?"
"Teach you? I thought you'd already know given your age, you look like a 16 years old person. People at this age already know a bunch of Yang arts. But well... I suppose I could teach you."
*I followed her out of the house to a large field, then she stood in front of me with a serious expression*
"The first thing you need to do is focus on your inner self. What are you, what you want, everything is important to unlock your Yang art, you'll know if you got it right if a tomoe appears on your hand, but it would naturally take months or even years to unlock your-"
*A tomoe appeared on my right hand, shutting her off. I couldn't help but feel my ego inflating a bit*
"Done." *I said calmly*
"You w-wasn't supposed to complete this step so fast... I guess you are some type of prodigy, or genius..." *She looked at my pink hair* "oh... That explains it all, nevermind..." *It seemed like she was hiding crucial information from me, but I was too focused on learning the Yang art*
"So... What now?"
"Try to imagine the sensation of your tomoe sticking out of your hand, like a projection, and then... Try to mold it into anything you want, that will be your Yang art."
*I did exactly what she said me to do, I imagined the tomoe symbol sticking out of my hand, molding it into a blast that fell off the sky, blessing the soft grass with a divine and deadly demonstration of my ascending power*
"Done."
"...I must be dreaming... Your Yin color is... Purple... I need to test something, come with me."
*She grabbed my wrist as she lead the way to a not so near, not so distant building. We entered the ancient structure, as an old and seemingly wise man sitting calmly at the table, eating a strange green meal.*
"What brings you here, Violet?" *He asks with curiosity*
"I... Want you to see the aura of this boy" *she said as she pointed her index finger to my ethereal and superior figure*
"...hmmm... Well, you know it won't be free, same deal: 100 Regu."
*Violet pays the old man as he put a special type of glass*
"Let's see... Young boy, please relax and close your eyes, try to calm down your heart." *He says, as I did exactly what he asked me to do.* "W-woah... That boy have... A dark aura, but I feel that this aura is not his. It's like a parasite... But also very powerful, the most powerful kind of Aura! This boy has the essence of a fast learner. Ideal type to be a monarch, just don't let the darkness consume you, young man. If you stare too much at the abyss, it will stare you back." *The old man says with concern*
"Ideal type... To be a king?" *I asked*
"Yes... In this world, everyone have the dream to become the monarch of this world, and every nation king selects 10 of their best Yang art user to compete in a big event called 'sabbath'."
*I ponder for a moment, did I really want to become a king? Maybe. I thought, at that moment I decided to focus on discover my origin, my creator and discover what is this world. Turning into a monarch for me was just a tool to make the process of self-understanding easier.*
THE END.
