Shuffling up to them slowly, suddenly they can see a zombie. They both jump up hurridly and shout at the same time, "Zombie!"
"What do we do?!" Shrii says while grabbing Goof's arm.
"Uh... run!" he turns and starts running towards the hole, shrii following after him. Jumping up the few blocks to get out, he turns and looks back to see the zombie still following them, but only walking forward, and not running or moving fast. Shrii reaches him too, and they both stand there for a second to catch their breath. "That's a zombie, we don't have any swords or anything. I don't want to get hurt, we need to leave!"
"But we are on an island!" Shrii says while looking around, "He's still coming!" Shrii backs up, fast.
"Quick! Let's make a boat." Goof runs over to the crafting table and uses the wood he has left to make a boat. It pops into his hand and he runs over to the edge of the water and puts the boat down into it. "Oh I know we're in danger, but that is still so cool."
"Wait!" Shouts Shrii, while she turns to look at the zombie approaching out of the hole, before getting in the boat. "Look,"
Goof turns to look at what Shrii is looking at, and see's the zombie burst into fire as soon as it gets out of the hole they were in. "Oh, right... I completely forgot that zombie's don't survive in the daylight." The zombie takes a few more steps toward them, while on fire, then falls over and disappears, and in it's place floats an red object.
"Ew, is that rotten flesh?" Shrii says while cringing in disgust. Shr turns to look at Goof as he climbs out of the boat, and grins. "Nice boat!" She exclaims.
Goof walks over towards the hole. "I was freaking out!" He defends "Besides, we will have to leave this island at some point." Walking around the floating piece of flesh, he jumps back into the hole.
"You're going back in there?!" Shrii asks. "What if there are more of them?"
"Well, as we've seen they move slowly, and burn in the sun. So we are not in that much danger." He pulls out his pickaxe and torches and says: "We need iron if we are going to defend ourselves."
Shrii also edges around the floating piece, and stands at the edge of the hole, contemplating for a moment. "I guess you're right. We also are going to need to sleep at some point, which means we need beds." She jumps down the blocks into the hole behind Goof, pulling out her tools. "Which means iron for shears." Holding a torch out in front of her, she walks forwards looking around for a patch of iron.
"I found some more coal, I'm going to get that, pretty sure we'll need lots." Goof says while starting to break the blocks of coal around him.
Shrii walks a bit forward through the tunnel in the ground, going down just a couple levels as it does, and the tunnel branches into two directions. Right inside the left fork, she spots some iron, "Oh hey, check it out! I found some iron!" She raises her pickaxe to mine it.

"Cool! I have lots of coal by now, there's so much of it." Goof says, while mining away at the coal he found.
"Iron definitely takes longer to break! But it's not so bad. There's 4 or 5 pieces here!" Shrii says while using the axe.
After a few minutes of mining Goof hears the telltale shuffling noise again, and realizes that Shrii is further in the tunnel then he is. "Shrii!" He shouts out. "Zombies coming, come on we gotta go!"
Shrii turns around from the stone she's at, and freezes, zombies are coming at her from both sides of the fork, she didn't even hear them. "Goof, I'm surrounded!"
Goof runs towards her, and sees Shrii, with zombies coming behind her but also pouring out from around the fork. "You gotta run, this way!" The zombies Are all focused on Shrii, and none of them even see Goof. But Shrii is frozen from terror, so he goes towards her even through the zombies and get to the lead shambler from this side of her as it gets close to. He pulls out his axe and wacks it on the head and it stumbles a bit.
Shrii snaps out of her frozen state when she sees that, and starts moving toward Goof, "There's so many of them!" she shouts out.
"I know, let's get out of here!" He says then they both start running past the zombies, hugging the opposite wall, while the zombies all turn toward them and start walking that direction.
Hopping up the blocks leading down to the cave, they both run to the boat and Shrii gets in first, grabbing the oars, followed closely by Goof, and then she pushes off from the shoreline and paddles out towards the ocean. They both sigh in relief as they put distance between them and the island. Shrii stops pushing the oars for a moment, and let's herself calm down and breathe.
"There were so many of them. I was so scared! What do you suppose happens to us if we get hurt?" Shrii asks.
"I'm not going to find out, if I can help it. I think it's really important that we get swords and armor, and food is probably important because we'll get hurt if we run out of hunger." Goof states.
Shrii picks the oars back up, "Ok, I think we need to go to that land over there, and see if we can't find some sheep or some food or maybe a village." She says while pointing towards a landmass that's visible of in the distance to their left. Turning the bost a bit, she takes off and paddles the oars, starting to move towards the land.
Goof looks out on the water and see's a bunch of fish under them, and a dolphin jumping to the right. "Oh cool, do you see that dolphin?" He points right at it.
Shrii looks over in that direction for a moment, and then sees the dolphin jumping again. "Oh my gosh, I love dolphins, that is so cool!" She says, excitedly. "Do you think we can swim with them?" Then she thinks about it for a minute, "Maybe not now, I want to get safe first."
"I'm sure we'll be back, knowing you! The dolphins will still be here, or at least somewhere." Goof says.
The boat moves along the water as they both kind of glance out and look around, but as they come closer to the land they are going towards, they notice something. "Hey look, do you see that?" says Goof.
Shrii looks to the land, and see a bunch of houses through the trees, with a road going to them from the beach, and even off to the side there's what looks like a shack with a little pier on the water. "Oh, yes! This must be a village. That is so convinient." Shrii drives the boat right up to the sandy beach and they both hop out and Shrii tries to pull the boat up further just to make sure it doesn't go anywhere. Then they both walk over to the road and stop and then look at each other.
"You ready for this?" Goof asks.
