Book 1 : The lock, chapter 04 : It’s fate

The still white baby ant definitely heard me when I cursed the miller

And it’s coming straight for me. It’s actually kind of cute, It’s bite still hurts a lot though.

last time I did not even fire the bow, it even bit me before teach stepped in.

This time I’m definitely using the bow though

How did Tim use his bow again? He does this cool thing where he twirls his bow and then lifts his bow up to his head and shoots the dear while smiling at us.

bof.. the bow just drops in between me and the ant while I am lifting my hands up. It did seem to confuse it though

David, what was THAT!?! There is no way I can [guide] that

Tim makes it look so easy though. Guess I can only use the sword now.

No way will I feed the bugger my foot this time!!!

It’s going for my foot while I push it’s mandibles away with my sword. I need to jump back so it does not grab my foot again, that hurts way to much.

Unlike the older ants, blocking it’s bite seems to really hurt the ant.

Every now and then I can feel a pull on me to block a bite that surely would have gotten me. He is acting all tough, but teach is really trying his best to allow me a chance for a decent class.

After the last block I could see it though, this time I can do it without help. The ant is again going for my foot, but it’s is clearly open to strike afterwards.

My usual step backwards combined with a trust to its head.

’ding’, the sword bounced off it’s chitin plate, but I feel the [guide] helping me and I keep sliding until the sword lodges itself between the plates and the ant stops.

Just then the earth starts trembling and a part of the dungeon caves in.

A bunch of people are standing around a weird circle with candles and red robes..

The miller is still holding a blood soaked knife and the black smoke is already rising from the ritual behind him

Any moment I should see the village’s (guardian spirit) enter and throw itself to the smoke.

The way back has already collapsed though. The spirit’s entry is making the entire mountain tremble and I can’t get away from it.

I don’t even get to unlock my class because there is still a fight.

The light in the cave is already dancing in the blue light and the temperature increasing. The blue flame is slowly making its way though the cave. At least the miller and the other cultists seem to be burning as well.

Just when the fire would hit me I phase out and the black and white smoke slams together. God knows what crazy attack they are using.

Our (guardian spirit) is a big softy, any child in mortal danger always phases out so the spirit can help them get to a safe place.

You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.

This time, unlike the incident with the wolf, the spirit did not come to get me though. Only a tiny amount of gray smoke above me drifts in all directions.

I am slowly falling down though the dungeon floor. I know where I will end up though.

This time I even seem to be accelerating towards the dungeon Core.

One again my soul enters into the dungeon crystal , The gray smoke twisting and swirling around the crystal makes it look just like some kind of ritual

My vision turns black and I wake up in the timeless void for my class unlock.

Still sweating from the explotion I arrive in my soul palace.

This place is nothing like the calm place teacher said it would be.

This is NOT a library detailing my achievements.

All the most horrible things that happend to me are soon on repeat.

I try to run away and avoid all of the phantom's, but I never can avoid all of them.

I look at the phantom me that is running away from the wolf and fall over in front of another transpartent version of me.

Luckely it seems to be unable to touch me and is seaching for an opening in the invisible wall between us.

My eyes lock with the phantom, and I can feel the system trying to tell me something.

Again, I try really hard to read the words but they just blend in the background.

As I try harder to read the words the phantom behind the invisible wall seems to get more excited and try even harder to get through the invisible wall.

I try to get away before he finds a way out and just before I leave my eyes linger on the biggest phantom in the room.

This phanom is getting sucked into a dungeon core, just to see it shatter in order to get thrown back in by another explosion.

But I don't dare to get a closer look as there is clearly things giggeling and moving around in the mist.

While I flee this room my heart starts beating faster in anticipation.

I quickly arrive in front of my door to the classes. That’s where it got really weird.

I expected it, but still freeze up when I see it again.

A series of phantom me's trying their best to represent my future in a class

There is me running and sneaking away. Guess my escapes from teach were good for something

A me doing acrobatic movements, dancing around a wolf for as long as he can. I cannot even tell wat some are doing. Even a new, brighter phantom me using a sword to deflect an ant and then stab it in the neck.

  Unlike my lessons,

there is a dungeon core under every phantom me building it's dungeon.
